GREAT JOB!! We have used Chris on two other occasions, he has exceeded our expectations. A true professional at a fair cost.

Chris was very very good. He was excellent, knowledgeable and thorough. I could not say enough good things about him. He was very reliable. I recommend him to others.

I first called a different plumber back in November 2013 to assess a potential leak in a bathroom.  This plumber said the leak was coming from behind the shower wall and wanted to remove 5-6 rows of old square ceramic tile, to get at the leak, and replace bath faucet. He charged $122 to come out and just look at the bathroom. He said the job was going to cost $1400.  After weeks of trying to schedule the job, and not getting a committal from the service scheduler (she kept putting me off-first told me it would be done before the end of the year just needed to coordinate with the tile guy, then it was so cold they were too busy and then promised the tile guy would be available and then just never called back,  I went back to Angie's List and found Chris Booker.  I called Chris and he returned my call the same day. I explained the situation and we scheduled a time for him to come out.  He came and checked out the "leak" in the bathroom and determined that is was not a leak, but just the water from the shower head running off the shower caddy that hangs beneath the shower head! I moved the caddy, and no more leaking!! He rodded out the bathtub, the laundry room sink and fixed a slow filling toilet.  He was here for 1 hour, charged us $110 and did an excellent job! The tub and laundy sink both flow freely with no blockage and the toilet fills quickly so you do not have to wait 15 minutes between flushes. Chris was professional, courteous, and clean. I was absolutely shocked the first plumber (who I have been using for the last 8 years for plumbing work) was ready to tear out the wall and charge us $1400 for an unnecessary repair.

Although the entire project appeared to go perfectly, a small leak developed in one of the soldered connections about 10 days later. You might think this was a negative, but I called around 8 PM one night and Chris Booker questioned me about the nature of the problem and decided to rearrange his schedule and came out at 7 AM the next morning to remedy the situation. He totally stood by his warranty and showed what the word responsive means!

Chris responded to my e-mail inquiry promptly and a time was set to came to my home for appraisal. Estimate of cost and work time followed shortly thereafter,  On the date agreed, he arrived on time and went right to work.  This job took almost 6 hours to complete and there was no additional charge as the estimate was 4 hours.  He checked every faucet in the house for pressure which was appreciated.  He focused on getting the work done correctly and cleaned up the work area before leaving.
Chris is a very intelligent and personable individual.  I am pleased with his expertise in resolving the problem of low pressure in a 60+ year old home and a faulty toliet flusher handle.  The handle he bought was expensive but the quality proves worthy the cost considering this is something used many times every day. There was additional work required to access the lines in the attic bathroom and he was prepared to do this to insure the existing lines were installed correctly.
I would use his service again and hope he stays in business a long time!

I had some leaks and needed some advice on additional issues. Chris was great at fixing and explaining what was wrong. He also gave additional suggestions on my other concerns. I will definitely hire him again.

We had purchased a Big Deal for Chris Booker to install a new 50 gal A.O. Smith gas water heater. Our 40 gal had just begun leaking and soon after we were without hot water. Unfortunately it was right in the middle of the holiday season (12/29) and Chris was out of town. He notified us of this right away via email and also let us know he was booked during the week he was to return. He suggested we request a refund for the deal as this was an immediate response issue. Chris, thank you for taking the time to get back to us in a timely manner while out of town during the holidays. It enabled us to immediately start searching for another highly recommended plumber without losing too much time. The courtesy and professionalism you extended us is truly appreciated!

Chris arrives on time and is very polite.  He is knowledgeable and is able to fix the problem.  He cleans up afterwards and I would definitely call him again when I need a plumber

Chris was great!  He came out quickly as we were have flooring problems and installed a new sump pump for us.  He was polite, explained things and was personable.  We will call him again when we need a plumber

Had purchased a coupon on Angie's List. When I called to schedule the appointment I had left message and Chris got back to me right away. Scheduled the appointment within days of phone call. He was very prompt. He did everything that was stated in the coupon: He cleaned out the dryer vent, vacuumed inside the dryer to make sure that all debris was cleared out. Inspected the water hose lines of the washing machine to make sure there was no rot. He also checked the gas lines for leaks. He was very efficient in his job.

Answered Angie's List message in less than 24 hours.

when one of our catch basins broke when he was testing it, he did not

This is our second time calling on Chris and there will be many more!  We had an emergency when we realized there was a broken pipe under our basement floor.  Chris came out right away, did a very thorough and accurate job assessing the problem and gave us a very reasonable estimate.  We felt better even at this estimate stage because you could tell just from hearing his proposal that the work would be in good hands and done right. It was a complicated job which involved taking up a concrete floor, replacing broken pipe and installing clean-outs to prevent future problems.    Chris's work was fabulous.  He came early and stayed late over the course of two days to get everything done.   He even replaced the concrete floor.  His work was beautiful from start to finish.  He is also great at explaining everything that has to be done. He also very kindly -- when he was done with this enormous job -- responded to my request for another appointment to clear drains in other parts of the house, by staying late to address all of those problems.   Another outstanding thing -- when we called him with a follow-up question a week later, he came by rather than just answer over the phone.  We felt we should pay him for this additional service call, but he refused payment saying he was just following up on his work.   He has done great work for us on all sorts of plumbing issues from small to quite complicated.  There are tons of reviews on Angie's List to go through -- but we feel that if you are looking for a plumber, you can stop reading and just call Chris.   Highest recommendation.

quickly diagnose the issue and schedule a date to replace the water
heater tank.

The job went very well. Chris was very pleasant to work with, and was very polite and tidy. He had to order parts for the tub drain and came back as soon as the parts were available to complete the job. We would definitely use Chris again when a plumber is needed... :-)

I ordered a special on Angie's List for Chris Booker to install an A.O. Smith 50 gallon gas water heater. The old water heater was very close to the basement wall. Being I have intentions on sealing and painting the wall I asked Chris if he could install the new water heater away from the wall as much as possible with out  making it a major project. He complied by moving the new heater a approximately 4 inches further away from the wall without charging me extra. The water heater and installation were flawless.

Having moved into this older condo a few days ago we did not like the way the gas dryer was working... taking too long to dry. My suspicion was the curled exhaust hose venting out the bottom of the dryer. I asked Chris what he thought and he agreed that the hose had too many "curls" in it. He pulled the dryer out from the wall and then made an additional observation .... the hose was not entirely attached to the outlet tube on the wall. He went down to the basement and cleaned out the entire "funnel" leading to the outside of the house. Then he offered to cut the hose to a straighter length and said he would have to cut some of the dry wall to enable the dryer hose to attach properly to the outlet tube. Well, guess what? When he cut the dry wall we discovered a "ton" of dryer lint INSIDE the WALL. Chris's diligence actually prevented us from a possible fire in the wall from all that lint build up. Mind you, this was at 9 P.M. Chris stayed well be beyond his original time to install the water heater. The additional cost was incredibly reasonable.

Our clothes dryer died and we ordered a new one. When the company came to install the new dryer, they could not complete the connection because our connectors were very old and not to current code. They told me to call a plumber. I called Chris right away (Wednesday). I have two sons (3 years and 3 months) so we do a lot of laundry in my house. I really needed the dryer setup. Chris was able to squeeze me in (I think when he usually eats lunch) on Friday. He was on time and totally professional. He corrected the issue and checked my dryer vent while he was there. He said they looked fine and didn't require cleaning. I also asked him a couple of questions about my water heater and he gave me straight answers. 
Bottom line: Chris is honest, dependable, and super professional. He always cleans up anything that is displaced while working, wears protective shoe covering on my hardwood floors, and he doesn't find ways to squeeze extra money out of me. I so highly recommend him.

Easy review to write...  called me back within a day to schedule a visit.  He arrived on time (not 2 minutes early or 2 minutes late).  Work took the amount of time he estimated.  He was careful and clean.  Enough said!  Perhaps one more thing to say:  I will be calling him again for my next dryer vent cleaning.

Chris is awesome - we used him this time, but had also used him a couple years prior. He is easy to contact - amenable to cell phone, email, text message, etc. He is flexible and has evening hours to account for full work days. He is also very reasonably priced. He fixed a pipe that had come loose in our shower, as well as a few other leaky things we had been putting off. He fixed them quickly and efficiently - super friendly, clean, and honest.

Installation of new pump on a big deal was all he expected. I asked if he could adjust plumbing pipe that was hanging freely in the crawl and then wanted a antifreeze configuration set up on the exterior of the house. Chris then discussed replacing the check valve too which was old and I agreed. He had all the piping necessary to complete what I wanted. We went over the entire set up together and it was better than I had expected. I will without a doubt call Chris on any plumbing projects I have.

Unfortunately I was unable to use the deal. However, their customer service was very friendly and helpful in a difficult situation.

Chris was professional, clean, courteous and did everything he promised.  We are very happy with the new 50 gallon, up from 40 gallons, AO Smith hot water heater as well.  Would definitely recommend Chris to anyone needing plumbing services
