Chris was booked through Wednesday when I called on Monday morning, but sent Kyle who had apprenticed with him. Kyle was great. He arrived on time, assessed the problem and went straight to work. The work took about two hours to complete. He removed the corroded piping for the p-trap, rodded the drain while rinsing thoroughly and rodded again. The drain is quicker than it has ever been and we can now remove the p-trap easily with the new PVC plumbing. He took off his shoes and was very good at cleaning up after the work was completed.

In a nutshell, I am very, very pleased with Chris Booker.
He is very thorough and conscientious. It was a lot of work!
Chris always came ON TIME. He and Kyle worked very hard to get the work done in a timely manner.
When he was done, before leaving, he checked all the faucets in the house after he turned the water back on to make sure everything was working correctly!

We were very pleased with the work. Chris was very personable on the phone. His busy schedule prevented him from doing the work himself, but he recommended one of his associates for the job. Kyle showed up on time, worked quickly, and was able to find the cause of the leak. He was also kind and courteous, and the fees were very reasonable. If you live in the north/northwest suburbs, I highly recommend Chris Booker Plumbing. I know I will be calling him again when the need arises.

Chris provided reasonable estimates, showed up punctually, and in most cases either advised or provide all materials to complete the jobs. He is prepared to tackle major household plumbing projects, brings appropriate tools and auxiliary materials, and leaves his work areas spotless on departure. I have used him for three plumbing projects and can recommend him without reservation.

We scheduled Chris for a very specific time and he was on time and worked very efficiently. He had nearly all the parts for the drain and faucet repair. While inspecting our kitchen faucet, he showed me how the drain traps were corroded. (There was grease literally dripping from one and it only failed to leak because the grease plugged the hole). Once we approved this fix, he quickly grabbed the materials from a local hardware store and repaired it quickly.
Chris is great at his job. I find his prices fair. He's punctual, efficient with his time and I can't recommend enough!

Chris arrived and promptly diagnosed the water flow issue, which he repaired. I also asked him to diagnose a "water hammer" issue with our HE washer. He suggested a "water hammer arrestor" and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and got right down to business.

Chris was very professional and did excellent work. As a good plumber, naturally he is in high demand so I had to wait a little bit for his schedule to free up, but he was worth the wait. Chris was very responsive to all my emails and on the day we scheduled for him to perform the work he showed up promptly, kept the work areas clean, and performed all the repairs and replacements professionally. When he left everything was clean and you couldn't even tell that work had been done. I would definitely use Chris again for any of my plumbing needs.

Chris did not just rod the drain and leave. He first cleaned the traps and pipes he could reach, then roded the drain pipe and then roded it again while the water was running to flush any material away. All the while he left the work area completely clean. I could not find a better plumber and his prices are modest.

From start to finish, it went like clockwork. Installed very professionally. No time was wasted and no extra cost was involved.Any mess created was removed. The serviceman had a good attitude and was very friendly. I give him a five star rate and would use him again.

Chris was really easy to work with and he saw the job all the way through even when the scope changed a bit and some unexpected problems arose. He took the extra time to make sure everything was working perfectly and explaining all the new equipment, shut off valves, etc. He also left the place really clean, which was just icing on the cake.

I asked Chris to check the water pressure and if changing the pipes from the original galvanized iron to copper would help with the pressure. He assured me that the pressure of the water was comparable to that of other Chicago houses. He was reluctant to change the pipes because the flow was good and he said I wouldn't notice any noticeable change in pressure. When pressed, he did mention that there were two places I could probably have the pipes changed and notice a little change in the hot water pressure. I would absolutely hire him for a job.

I was preparing to rent my condo when the local gas company did some routine maintenance and detected a gas leak in my dryer.. Chris came out promptly, identified the problem (a faulty installation) and made the repair promptly.
