They are very good. They made a mistake and corrected it wonderfully. The service was excellent once they remedied the fact that they lost my ordered. I called and they said it was a mistake and they apologized. I wasn't pleased that I called to check on delivery and they had no record of my order, but I was pleased that they corrected the problem. I am very happy with the service I've gotten so far and it was a good experience other than that one thing.

We dealt with 2 different salespeople, one for the washer and dryer and another for the microwave. Both of them were helpful without being aggressive. They answered our questions, pointed out specific things to consider when choosing a particular model, and were knowledgable about the products. The delivery and installation of the washer and dryer was handled professionally. We took the microwave home ourselves but the next day changed our minds about the color we had chosen. We called our salesperson and she easily handled the exchange over the phone.

I ordered the drawer and when told it would cost $200 to have someone deliver and install it, I decided to go to ABT and get the drawer myself. I also need a washer for the door hinge. The man at the service counter tried for a long time to find the right one. I took it but it was not the right one. I mailed it back and received a credit.Though they tried to locate the right one that was never possible.

They were very timely, very good and they gave us a price and that's what they charged. There was no problem.

Does Abt really need another "A" review? Does anyone not know them? Their reputation? These guys are gold. Prices are very competitive (sometimes you have to ask), service is excellent, the selection is extremely broad. And their customer service is nationally renowned. Deal with confidence.

I've used them many times in the past. They are very good and they do a lot of high-end stuff in Chicago. Mine was a cheap project for them. They made it so that they put all my electronic components in a closet and then put the wires through the wall. It was kind of involved and they did a nice job. I am very happy and generally buy all my appliances through them. They are a computer, electronic and appliance store.

Stopped by to look for a LED TV. Talked to a Kevin Byrne who had exceptional knowledge of the systems, took the time to show and explain different systems (pluses and minuses) and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. I was impressed, which doesn't happen often. We have used ABT many times before and have never been disappointed.

Apparently he replaced the controller but left the faulty compressor and condenser. Not sure why repair not covered by warranty and not sure why he felt the need to only replace one part out of 3 faulty parts. I feel like hiring a professional repair service to rip out the control board & do a proper repair. I have placed follow up call to abt but really don't want to pay them any more money after losing all of my food due to the 3-day weekend of non-refidgeration.

An in-wall air conditioning unit I purchased from Abt several years ago started to make noise when it was turned on. I called Abt for service and they immediately scheduled the appointment for the following Saturday. I asked that they call 30 minutes before arrival which they did. The repairman arrived on time and opened the unit and found that the blower motor which was no longer under warrantee had failed and would need to be replaced. The estimated repair was over $500 so he suggested a new unit and said that the service call would be credited to my purchase. He personally called the store to see if they had the model I needed and then negotiated for a discount in addition to the credit. I received a significant discount off the store price and purchased the new unit over the phone while the repairman was there and also scheduled a delivery date. Abt did an outstanding job of making this a seamless experience. I've used Abt before and have never been disappointed.

I went directly to their store and they have an outstanding display area. The service was exceptional and I was very pleased.

It went well. They did good work and the pricing seems to be a little expensive, but I can count on them.

It was just prior to July 4, 2010 and I asked if the refrigerator I wanted would be on sale over the holiday weekend. I was given the sale price that had been effective over the Memorial Day weekend. The refrigerator was to be delivered to the store by the manufacturer in 4-10 days but it took 5 weeks. Because I waited so long the refrigerator was delivered the day after it arrived at Abt for my convenience and the fee for removing and hauling away the old one was waived. I elected to take an extra warranty when I purchased the refrigerator and was given a discount on that price as well. The 2 men who delivered it were courteous and professional and very adept at handling refrigerators. They made quick work of the delivery and removal and were mindful of protecting my floors.

The company made an appointment for the installation, they came when they said they would, and they did what they said they would do and they did it well. It was a very satisfying experience and I will always buy my appliances from them because they do what they do so very well and focus on customer satisfaction.

They are good and have been here for many years now. I like them. It’s a general appliance retail company in Chicago. They are very reliable and well known in this area. I would use their services in the future too.

We went to Abt because they had the best price on the dishwasher we wanted. We worked with a great salesman, who really made the process much easier. I really learned that internet research can only take you so far, sometimes you need a salesperson to narrow your choices. He recommended a less expensive model that he thought would better suit us, scheduled the delivery, and followed up to make sure we were happy. The installation a week later went smoothly, the installation crew called first thing in the morning to let us know what time they would arrive, called to let us know they were running about 15 minutes late, and then called when they were outside. The were respectful of our cabinetry and floors, were extremely polite, and finished in less than 45 minutes. We are looking forward to our next purchase at Abt.

I use them all the time. They are a huge store that sells appliances and TVs. They have been very, very successful because they are so good. Their prices are good and their service is excellent. That is probably why they are so successful. I have shopped there before and I will continue to shop there.
