Abt Electronics, founded in 1936, is the largest independent, single-store appliance and electronics retailers in the country. The third-generation family run Abt Electronics provides unparalleled customer service with its team of 1,300 expert staff members at its Glenview, Ill.-based store, which boasts a 100,000 square-foot showroom on 37 acres. "Abt schedules about 500 service calls a day and we do our best to accommodate a time request. We also call 30 minutes prior to our arrival to ensure so you aren't waiting around all day for service. We have been in business since 1936 and have won ethics awards from the Better Business Bureau. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. On Saturday, 5/16 the customer was in communication with a sales associate and a store manager. The customer was provided the option to exchange the unit or proceed with a service call. The customer informed the store manager, the unit is now working and opted to keep the unit. At Abt, our goal is your complete satisfaction.
