"We always give a good faith estimate on wall paper removal since we cannot know how it was applied and how long it will take to remove. We also do not know if there are hidden imperfections in the wall until the wall paper is removed. This is done on a time and materials basis which is spelled out in our contract. Our actual hours for this work were what was charged to this customer. Unfortunately, the paper was applied by the homeowner and not done professionally. Many imperfections were found due to an addition on the back of the home, that we were tasked to repair. Those repairs are part of the wallpaper removal process and this was explained quiet clearly to this customer. As for the crew, they do both exterior and interior work for us and have been well rated on both. Whenever there are two colors meeting on an edge, yes, it sometimes shows more of a line, we always do our best to make these lines appear seamless. We always take our customers on a pride walk and inspect our work. If anything stands out that we missed on our own walk through then we immediately take care to remedy any concerns. This "edge control" issue was on a couple of areas that were pointed out and took no more then 5 minutes to touch up. It is not necessary for us to be on every job all the time as our crews are professional painters. They give us updates as the project is progressing and we stop by all our jobs at some point to check the status."

"Our business is weather dependent. As this was exterior, we needed to be sure the weather was at the correct temperature and that the structure had dried out prior to painting. We had our paint representative go to the job site to do a color match and started painting when the homeowner decided she didn't like the color. We did redo the areas with a new color the customer picked out."
