I got their name from Angie's List. They were prompt, they showed up and they got the work done. My interactions with them were fine; there were no problems with the interactions. I think they ended up not having to do the wall as we originally talked about, but they were probably able to work around it. They did not use adhesive between the brick which I thought they were going to do. It seems like the work turned out okay. It kind of depends on how it holds up over the season; so far it is fine. To get a better grade, probably just in the quote process to make sure everything matches up with what they said in the quote.  The overall job was done matching what I needed to have done, but they thought they would probably have to tear up the whole wall and they just tore a part of it. That's probably okay. If there is a reason they won't use adhesive between the bricks they should communicate that. It was a pretty significant chunk of money for what they did. They did not have to buy any bricks or anything; they just provided the labor.

I contacted Vidal landscaping and told the person on the phone what I was looking for. Fall treatment for weeding, aeration and fertilization and how much property I had. Someone did come out within a day or so to look at the property and give me an estimate. He did not seem to understand what I wanted but kept asking me if I needed weekly lawn mowing, which we do not. I explained, not mowing, but the fall treatment as I described a couple times. The man said he would have to look around the yard first to give estimate. I said OK I will wait at the front of the house and talk to you afterwards. He essentially just got in his van and left and I have not heard from Vidal landscaping since. I have tried to call them, but there was no answer and their voicemail is full. This company was recommended to me by a friend who uses Vidal and also has a large yard, so I know they do this size properties but have been completely unresponsive to me.

Performed work as we discussed and adjusted a few other bricks that were disturbed by new curbing at no additional charge.  Also adjusted grading as the bricks had sunk far below the front stoop.  They even adjusted the edging in my flower bed next to the bricks.  Total clean look.
