Jeff Fischer Electric

Started out well, but unfortunately ended in a disappointing manner (refer to picture attached).

Jeff is great and I'll be calling him again for any electrical needs I run in to. Very personable, clearly explains what he's doing, punctual, and reasonably priced.

Jeff quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed everything. Jeff was very competent and professional.

Very well! He answers calls and texts promptly. Congenial and patient.

Jeff arrived right on time and had the daunting task of running 30 + feet of pipe from fuse box to outlet location. This was no easy task and Jeff did a great job to make sure this was done correctly. It took Jeff 3 hours to complete this outlet project. I thought $270.00 was a little on the high side, but the work was professionally completed and Jeff did a great job of cleaning up.

He's a good man, he came in and was able to do a couple of odd jobs we had around here. He and my husband are film buffs and they had a very nice conversation. An interesting person to talk to. He fixed everything just fine, clean as a whistle and a very nice guy; I would highly recommend to anyone.

It didn't go well. Problem still not solved, but Jeff was a nice guy. To be fair, he only had two hours to correct a problem that apparently will take longer than that. At the end of the day, I say it didn't go well because after spending the money, I'm still in the same exact spot, which sucks.

Jeff and his coworker arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and got right to work. He was very responsive and helpful when discussing the work at hand ahead of time and came to the job prepared and ready to go. I will certainly use Jeff in the future for any major or minor electrical work moving forward - he was very personable, very reasonable in terms of cost, and trustworthy. His experience was very apparent when he consulted with me about other various electrical questions throughout our home.

He arrived within a half hour of our call. Because the breakers were an older type, he went back home to get a couple he had on hand. That saved us $40 apiece. Every thing was done in about an hour and a half. We were very pleased.

It was a great experience. Jeff replaced some problematic light fixtures in the house that had old wiring, removed older fluorescent fixtures and addressed any potential wiring hazards. Jeff was very easy to relate to, he exhibited a professional demeanor, was very courteous, and had a great way of explaining the work being performed and his approach. Jeff provided an excellent and friendly experience. We would be glad to receive his help in the future.

I called to get an estimate for a substantial amount of work on my house, whereupon he told me that he was too busy and it was too far for him. I live in on the north side of Chicago.
I can't testify to his workmanship, but over the phone he was dismissive and uninterested in working 10 miles away from his office address.

Was looking for electrician to swap out a dimmer and repair or replace track lighting.  This provider could not be bothered to return my call.  Would not recommend.

See the above breakdown, re: what the provider did for the answer to this question. Jeff has a wealth of experience from a long-term career in his trade. He can do a multiplicity of different, unrelated electrical work. He is professional and does a good job for a fair price. He is punctual and, follows up upon completion of the work. You just need to have good communication and be able to direct him in what it is you want and he delivers!
