"This review is extremely unfair and simply false. I have reviewed our file on this client and will summarize our experience briefly below in attempt to defend my company and our reputation. We take customer service very seriously at Atlas! On May 5th, 2017 we sent out a sales engineer to provide a free evaluation at the client's request. Gary performed the most thorough inspection possible but the issue's the client were experiencing were very difficult to ascertain without a fully forensic investigation. Gary provided a proposal on May 5th to the homeowner to perform this investigation. The client declined to have us perform the work and asked for a recommendation of an independent firm. We provided and logged for our records the recommendation. The client hired the other firm who then went out and, according to the homeowner, did not provide any written documentation. At the client's request, we then sent Gary out a second time (we never charged a penny for either of these consultations or referrals - nor will we ever) on October 20th, 2017. At this visit the client said the engineer said nothing needed remediation but if the homeowner wanted to strengthen or replace a column and pad in the basement it was up to her (this account is the best Gary could remember and it may not be precise). Point being, Gary put together a second proposal to replace a column and pad in the crawl space and that proposal was emailed to the client on November 1st. As I have hopefully conveyed, we are in the business of, not only permanently repairing homes, but in treating any and all potential clients with respect, prompt responsiveness and, if necessary, multiple free inspections, proposals and referrals. I truly don't know what I, as an owner, could have done any better for this prospective client!"
They were really good. It was a lot of money, but it was less than the other one. I didn't personally go down into the crawl space and look at it, but we did have a village inspection and they say they did a good job.
