fine, i saw the sewer line with their camera. didn't seem as bad as they made it out to be. price for the rodding seemed a lot.

"Camera showed mass root growth. You were presented with the option of an extensive rod which is $125 per cutter, and it would take 3 different size cutters to clear the mass root. you decided to go ahead with it knowing the price ahead of time. We had 2 technicians out there for over 2 hours and feel that your were fairly priced."

Edit 11/05/14:  They also gave me an estimate for replacing the pipes in my sewer line, as they said my pipes were old and crumbling.  I was told that I needed to rip up my driveway and get brand new piping.  The price tag ended up being over $7000 and so I decided to get a second opinion.  The other company I hired let me know the driveway did not to be ripped up and that the pipes could be accessed from the manhole close by.  Also, I could get a resin lining installed in the pipes and wouldn't need to replace with new.  I was disappointed that Ex-Stink did not offer another option that would have been less expensive.

the sewer line was cleaned out - there was a big push to have additional work done,  additionally they had to reschedule the service call because their equipment broke down (it was a late call on a friday afternoon) and they forgot to put my rescheduled appt on the books - so the second time around, i had to wait a long time to have the service performed

Well, The inspection went well. He was polite. I did think he wanted to convince me to upgrade my sump pump.  He tried to instill some doubt as to its longevity.

That turned out fine. They came on time and did the job that they were suppose to do. Two technicians came out they were cutting roots an outside access. I did have to pay a little bit more due to it being a longer distance.

Entire team was professional and courteous. The were sensitive to the fact that we, as homeowners, were not expecting to replace an entire collapsed sewer line within our first year of home ownership. They tried to be as careful as possible around mature plantings, which was appreciated as they had to dig a 14ft hole through our entire front yard to reach to water main. Would highly recommend!

Mark came out and said the service could only be performed from the outside; he said my access could only be from the inside and it would be an additional cost. He was very informative, helpful, and honest about this. Basically what I need is not part of the deal, so he just suggested I requested a refund.

I used the Angie’s List coupon for the job. It was excellent. I asked the person that is actually renting from the property if they had any problems at all and she said no and that they were professional. I don’t know anything about the quality because I don’t have anything to compare it to.

They did a great job of explaining what they were looking for in the pipes. They pointed out areas where water was pooling, but said it wasn't necessary to fix at this point. I would use them again for other plumbing work.
