I hired Mike from Inspection Connection to do an inspection of a condo that I'm buying. This was my first time using him or having any kind of property inspection. I was impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. He arrived on time and even though I only contracted him to do the inside of the condo he took a quick walk around the exterior of the building. He took pictures and explained to me any issues he found both outside and inside. He emailed the report to me and my attorney the next day. I would highly recommend Inspection Connection to my family and friends.

Mike arrived exactly on time.  He spent nearly 4 hours inspecting our 1.5 story bungalow.  He documented deficiencies with photographs and differentiated between serious problems and those of less concern that may need to be addressed in the future.  He provided a written report with photo documentation and emailed it to us within 24 hours of the inspection.  We were very happy with his punctuality, his professionalism, and his efficiency.  We especially like that we were able to have the report emailed to us so quickly.  We highly recommend his services to anyone needing a home inspection.

Mike was very thorough and professional. He scrutinized every part of the house and explained in detail areas that needed to be

Mike scheduled the inspection promptly and was flexible in scheduling. He contacted us by email a few days before to confirm and send some information regarding the agreement and what to expect. He arrived on time and spent 3-4 hours going over the house with a fine toothed comb. He's tough, knows the code, and crawled into every nook and cranny to find the tiniest details from the basement floor and sump pump to the peak of the roof. He was knowledgeable and didn't seem to mind me following around asking a lot of questions. He made recommendations about everything, including all the major mechanicals, structure, insulation, siding, roofing, trees, drainage, the grade of the yard - you name it, he notices it and knows about it.
We got the detailed report the next day just like he promised and it included a summary of the major items, and details about everything he found, all documented with color photos with arrows to indicate exactly what you're looking at.
We were very satisfied with Mike's professionalism, knowledge, and customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a good, thorough inspection.

Mike was fantastic from the time I called to the time we received our report. He arrived early and was extremely thorough taking pictures of all of our problem areas. My husband and I are first time home buyers and he was great about explaining everything even things that might be common sense for most people. He was extremely patient with us. We also had a handful of family stopping by to see the house while the inspection was going on and he was really great about dealing with questions from everyone. Following the inspection we received the report promptly the next day (on a Sunday). It was thorough, with a lot of pictures and very easy to understand. My wife and I were in love with a foreclosure that hadn't been occupied for more than 2 years, and we wanted someone that would give us the straight story on what we were in store for. Even though it was the dead of winter and there was snow packing the entire roof, he took a gamble out on a questionable balcony just to climb up and give us a more detailed analysis of the roof. Mike was great to work with. He came highly recommended by some friends who recently had him inspect a home in my area and my realtor also mentioned she had worked with him in the past and that he does a great job He was quick to respond in scheduling an appointment and he makes himself available for those with busy schedules. He was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the home. He is meticulous throughout the entire process to ensure nothing goes over looked. If something needs to be updated, fixed, or replaced he lets you know what is needed and an estimated cost. He sends you a detailed report the next day listing all major and minor issues. We looked for a home almost a little over a year. We really appreciated working with Mike each time because his home inspections are very thorough. His inspections are designed to give you the best options when deciding to purchase a home. In fact his inspections were a major deciding factor in our decision on which home to purchase. We hired Mike based on the recommendations of a few family members, and we were very pleased. He knew exactly what he was doing and covered all the bases. He didn't hesitate to get dirty or climb out onto iffy sections of the roof. Mike Lamb was recommended by our real estate agent. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. From the beginning, he encouraged me to follow him around as he performs his inspection. He explained not only issues but observations of the construction of the home as well as provided tips on maintaining the home. During the inspection he found some issues with mold, loose siding, incorrectly installed outdoor electric lines and additional minor items. He explained the risks of those deficiencies, rough estimate to repair and the type of service provider I should contact to have a proper estimate and repair performed.
Mike's report was very well laid out with pictures depicting each concern and not overly wordy. He summarized the major concerns at the beginning and included the minor concerns in the detailed section of the report. When we shared the report with the seller, they agreed to repair all of the items.

Mike did a thorough job inspecting the home, inside and out. He even went up on the roof to inspect the roofing and chimney. He provided a thorough report with pictures within the day. He did a great job explaining the process and the inspection results.
