Wolter's Custom Cabinets
About us
In the late 1970’s Richard Wolter started building custom cabinets for family and friends. It wasn’t long before he realized he had more interest in his cabinets than a part time job could fulfil so in 1984 he quit his job and started what is now Wolter’s Custom Cabinets. Since that time, he has been custom designing and building cabinets, bookcases, entertainment centers, bathrooms, kitchens, home offices and other custom pieces all around the southern Illinois and metro St. Louis area. At the beginning of 2011 Wolter’s Custom Cabinets officially entered into it’s second generation of ownership when Rich’s son Glenn joined the team to continue what his father started. Wolter’s Custom Cabinets specializes in affordable custom kitchens and baths, using your choice of Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Walnut, or Pecan. Every job is custom designed to meet your taste and design needs. From stain matching to custom moldings, there are no design requirements that can not be met. We invite you to explore the fine crafted cabinetry of Wolter’s Custom Cabinets by browsing through the various galleries on this site. Please feel free to contact Glenn directly to set an appointment to discuss your particular needs.
