Excellent work performed here. What was a problem transmission is no problem now. The entire trans was replaced and I have a warranty too! Runs great! In fairness, let me add that I probably should rate the price more than 4 stars. I'd say 4.5 "great" if I could, it was more than fair and exactly what I needed including warranty. I hope readers will appreciate my sincerity that I'm not just tossing 5 stars out there without thought. This is a fine shop, great team, Thank you Chris for the excellent work!

I've been going to Andy and Tim for over 25 years, and they are terrific.  They are honest, fair, and a pleasure to work with.

Andy (the owner) has been our car repair guy for years. He is friendly, competent and not cheap. But he does the work needed and explains what he is doing before he proceeds. 
I brought my car in because of squeaky brakes. He found the problem and solved. it. I knew the car was overdue for maintenance so the rest of the work was needed. My Camry is 11 years old and with over 200,000 miles and thanks to Andy, it's doing great.

We've been using Golf Crawford Auto Service to maintain our 3 cars for years. They've done everything from warranty work, replace shock, breaks and tires, and perform 30-60,000 mile service. There work has been flawless, always on time, at or near budget, They are also very honest, never doing more work than necessary.

I called and set up an appointment for the next day.  I dropped off my car at noon and it was ready by three.  Andy was very helpful, and did a good job of explaining the work done, and why it was needed.

We had a lot of work done by another mechanic, including replacing this belt.  Andy from Golf Crawford determined that the belt was not the proper size.  We were not able to go back to the 1st mechanic.
We have used Golf Crawford for many years, especially when we had two old cars and an antique car as well.  Now that we have one 10 year old car and one 2 year old car we don't see them as much (thank god!).  My feeling is that they are honest, competent, and not cheap.  Two out of three, especially when the two includes honest and competent, ain't bad.  Additionally, Andy and his staff are nice guys, friendly and willing to explain things to us non-mechanics.
We will stick with them for future work.

.  We have been taking our cars to Golf and Crawford Auto Service for at least 15 years.  Andy is highly honest, diligent,  and professional and whenever we take one of the cars in for service, regardless of the reason, he always makes sure it is checked over for any other  potential problems before it is returned.  He will call before hand and explain in detail any work that he suggests be completed with the reasons and an estimate of the cost, and whether it should be done immediately or sometime in the  future.   Service can be scheduled for a future date or quickly if there is an emergency and is most always completed within the day even if he has to order parts. He sends reminder letters when it is time for oil changes, tune ups, etc, and always follows up with a  thank you letter after the work is performed.  Costs seem to be competitive with other shops in the neighborhood. At times small problems can be fixed while you wait.

A/C was not functional and I decided to get it fixed before a long trip. They took the car same day and repaired by recharging. They were professional enough to trace for a leak rather than just throw in the gas and call it done. not finding anything at even trace levels, suggested a sealer and dye additive to find the microscopic leak that must exist, with a return visit in 2 wks. Happy with the service, was somewhat expensive, especially the refrigerant, which I know doesn't cost that much.

Any little problem that you think there maybe you can stop there and they will look at it, tell you if you need to worry about it, and will get you taken care of as quickly as they can. They are very timely and honest. Their prices are average. They are friendly. They are not condescending like some places are, especially to women. Women can feel comfortable and trust them. There was something we questioned one time and it was easily resolved to our satisfaction. Sometimes they are not as quickly as you would like, but that is not necessarily their fault.

I'VE BEEN GOING TO HIM FOR YEARS. I TRUST HIM.
