We are your central source for quality, reliability, and value. Central Rug and Floors was established as a family owned cleaning company at our Central Street location over 80 years ago. Since then, we have expanded to provide quality commercial, residential, cleaning, and retail services to our customers. We have proudly served the North Shore and Greater Chicagoland area since 1925. Additional hours- Cleaning hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm Saturday - 9am to 3pm

The cleaners were very professional and did a good job. They weren't able to get some stains out completely, which I was a little surprised at since they weren't terrible stains. However, overall we were happy with the work.

We chose a geometric pattern. They were very careful to be sure that the pattern was centered in the area rug and also on the stairs. Jim Kelly was very easy to deal with. Their price was reasonable. The installation and delivery people were helpful and courteous.

The came in 2 visits. $239 for carpeting and $225 for the oriental rugs. I think they were clean about their work. They didn't take too much time in cleaning. When they brought the rugs back they were professional about putting them back.

THE MAIN WORKER WAS LESS THAN FRIENDLY. QUITE ABRUPT. DID NOT LIKE MY QUESTIONING OF FINAL RESULT. HIS WAY OF SAYING TO WAIT A DAY TO BE SURE AFTER IT HAD DRIED WAS DEFENSIVE, RATHER THAN INFORMATIVE. WHEN I CALLED THE PLANT TO ASK THE SAME QUESTIONS, THE PERSON I TALKED TO WAS GREAT. ASSURED ME IT WOULD LOOK BETTER WHEN IT HAD A DAY TO DRY, BUT TO CALL BACK IF I WAS NOT HAPPY. IT WAS BETTER THE NEXT DAY. NOT LIKE NEW, BUT IT IS NOT NEW.
