American Vintage Home Heating Cooling & Plumbing

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Every American Vintage Home employee with whom we worked was knowledgeable and professional. They listened to our needs and figured out how best to address them; they are accustomed to old homes with more modern additions and multiple systems. The project was scheduled at a time convenient for us, and completed in a timely fashion with very little disruption or mess. They were familiar with city regulations. Both the traditional and Space-Pak systems have continued to work well since installation five months ago. We will also use American Vintage Home to service our heating systems.

It went very smoothly. We felt we were in good hands and will very likely want to use this company on our other heating and air conditioning and plumbing needs

They did an absolutely wonderful job in my very old 1890's house. Very pricey, but I have a high efficiency 75 gallon water heater, a larger copper pipe between the main and water heater, new exterior faucets and utility sink faucet, and everything was done in a high quality way and to current standards which is what I wanted.

Frim the 1st. Isit to the final inspection these guys were outstanding. They listened to what we wanted, researched the building and found creative ways to install a SpacePak unit very discreetly. The reaults were stunning. The team (thanks to Chris, Jack and Marek), were professional, neat and quick. They did exactly what they said, it cost what they estimated and the system works great. They were neat, clean and left the place in clean condition so you would never know they were there.

I was not home but they came in and installed the new units with no problem and left the space as clean as they found it. The service mgr came out later and checked the install and operation and explained how everything worked. Very happy with their work and outcome.

We've had no complaints about any work they've done. The techs are courteous and take came not to damage floors etc., and the works seems to haven done well.

I have been a customer of them for years. They installed my original system 15 years ago. They have been doing the maintenance on it every year. They are fabulous. I am sure that their price is fair but I have not shop compared. They do a wonderful job. I have been a customer for years. They should at least get a quote from them for any type of heating and air conditioning. I know they have plumbers but I have not used them for that. Their technicians are great about explaining. They put drop cloths on my wood floors and drop cloths on my carpet. They hung plastic over areas so there would not be dust. They did fabulous.

I have to schedule them. I have to see when they are available.

Total professionalism. Amazing company. However, I could not have the unit put in due to the condo board of directors that have no clue.

We just had an air conditioning unit installed. The unit worked great and the installers were great, but they did not do a great job on the sales end of things. It's not exactly the unit I wanted. Not really a recommendation. Best things about them I'd say the installers were very professional and did an excellent job installing the unit, checking on the unit, and following up with me. They were top notch. What the company could have done better is the sales team could have better identified my needs. The end product that they gave me was not exactly what I wanted. In fact it's missing key features that I thought were going to be there. Now I own a $5000 air conditioner that doesn't do what I want it to. I feel a little burned. It wasn't anything with the guys that actually did the work. I thought the price was fair. I probably would use them again. I probably be very careful about it.

Quality is an A or else I wouldn't use them. Real pleased.

The plumber was very quick in making the needed repairs.

Service work excellent. Lack of responsiveness and good feedback from office. Manager was lacking in ability to answer questions. Not terribly friendly.

The sales engineer and installation engineer were prompt in returning calls and arrived at the scheduled times. The technicians left our place in excellent condition and the quality of the installation was high. I am amazed at how quickly and efficiently our home cools off with this system. I would highly recommend both American Vintage Home and the Mitsubishi system they installed.

They were great. I like the company.

American Vintage did a great job. They took less than a week to install our central air conditioning and the system works great. We got multiple quotes for the work, and they were cheaper than the others we received (though we got an off-season discount, so that might be the reason they were cheaper). The crew was very professional and courteous. I would definitely hire them again.

Hire this company!!! We have done countless renovations, had several companies and independent tradespeople come into our home. AVH outshone everyone. This is the first time that anyone not only did an incredible job, but exceeded our expectations. Every step of the way we encountered exceptional service and highly knowledgable people. And I have NEVER ever had anyone clean up each day so perfectly (thank you Pawel for STEAM CLEANING my floors everyday!). After they were done and paid in full, they sent someone out to first hand confirm the AC was working and meeting our needs.

The Sales Tech, Florin, was superb. He was an expert in water/sewer dynamics and correctly diagnosed the reason we had water coming up through cracks in the basement. The workers were gracious, diligent and explained their progress at each point. They took precautions to no damage the lawn, plantings and our freshly painted white picket fence. The cleaned up after each day of work so that mud was not tracked into the house. Scheduling was efficient and everyone was always prompt. Workers were well trained and very courteous. Finally, no water in the basement, even after torrential rains!

Very professional. I was actually at a meeting, and they called me to let me know that they were on their way so I could leave the meeting and meet them.

They are very knowledgeable, especially for an older home. They have quick response. They explained in very detailed. Overly detailed, that I said I don't want to hear no more. They wear booties, and they vacuum everything. There is one person. There might been an second guy, but he was training. If an emergency call, we get them during the week.

They are wonderful. They have very good ideas and average price quote, they are very responsive.

We called 4 different vendors for pricing. The first three came out quickly, gave us pricing quickly and answered all our questions. American Vintage couldn't send anyone out for another 10 days, but we scheduled it figuring it could take that long to get the other prices. Initially the woman said that we would have to have two different estimates and dates, one for the furnace and a different one for the a/c. We balked at that so she said he could do both in one visit. On the day of the scheduled estimate, we got a call saying they had an emergency and couldn't come out that day. We called them to reschedule and they told us that the next available date was another two weeks out. We said that really wasn't going to work for us, and since they were the ones who cancelled, couldn't they accommodate us this week. She checked and said that the best they could do was two days earlier than the two week date she first offered. We respectfully declined. We hired someone else (All Temp - they're great) and we have the new furnace and a/c installed and paid for...more than a week before the date when American Vintage was going to come out for the rescheduled estimate. If a company can't manage to come out for the estimate, it's hard to imagine what it would have been like to try to schedule the work.

From start to finish, they were first rate and did an excellent job. Their workers are professional and knowledgeable, they did excellent work and they were finished on time. I would highly recommend them.
