Rick gave a competitive quote with many good references. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. In the end, we did go with another company with a lower quote. The other company estimator went up on our roof to examine things and even looked in our attic to fully assess the repairs needed. I'm confident that Promar would have done a good job as well given their positive reviews, so I would definitely recommend checking them out.

While visiting my mother in Clarendon Hills from Minnesota, I helped her locate a good company (utilizing Angie's list) to have her roof redone. She called for estimates and a representative from Promar came the same day. A written estimate was provided very soon after and within one week the roof was installed. They completed the job in one day! My mother was very pleased with their work. In her words "I highly recommend Promar Roofing. The price was fair the job completed in an efficient professional way. Promar was one of the best service companies I have used in a long time. They quickly analyzed a roof leak that two previous companies failed to fix and in timely fashion completed the work as described and per their quote. The most important piece of information is that their gutter replacement and roof repair worked exactly as explained and we no longer have any roof or gutter problems. I would highly recommend them.

After scheduling in September, months later they came to replace our back door. We threatened to go somewhere else to have them do the work. It was near night when they finally came to fix the door. They had to return because the door would not stay closed without using the dead bolt. They were also going to restore the rotted wood on our door frame. We hired them in September the same time we did the roof. They showed up just before Christmas. They had measured wrong, so they wanted to store things in my garage to be able to come back to do the work. So, to this day, I still have things in my garage for this part of the job. We did have our roof done with them--and they did great with job, but we're still waiting to finish the rest of this work.

They did a fine job with the roof. They did not really have anyone on the site who spoke English very well--which created a bit of a language barrier during the project. The Promar guy did not come and check on them. They did the work all in one day, and it looks fine. I did have a few complaints about the roof that were never addressed, but overall, it looks fine.

The estimate was lower than the estimates of other companies for less work. The prices quoted were exactly what we paid. We agreed to do the work and sent in a deposit. The work was done about a week later, when the weather permitted. The work was accomplished while we were at work, and was done well.

Promar was very professional throughout the process and it started with Rick Hrdina. Rick was prompt, took the time to explain the process to me, and left me with samples. He then followed up (no other roofing company did so), sent me the estimate electronically, and then continued to follow up with me via email and telephone as I had questions. I loved the fact that I could communicate with Rick via email as that is my preferred method of communication. The roof installation was painless. As explained to me, I received a phone call indicating when material drop off would take place, the crew showed up the next day and installed most of the roof. While Promar expected that the job would only take one day, the discover of a 3rd layer of shingles caused the job to take a second day. The workmanship is excellent, no damage to siding or landscaping, and the crew did a fantastic job cleaning up.

They provided us with the estimate very quickly. We just decided what needed to be done and we decided to go with another company since the other company was doing some other work for us we decided to go with them to do the roofing also. We would consider Promar Roofing to provide an estimate for us in the future.

On 8/25/11, I contact Promar Roofing for an estimate on a complete roof replacement of my home and (1) downspout in the back of the house. Also wanted to know about replacing (1) gutter in the back of the house. On 8/27/11, a representative from Promar Roofing came to my home and was very knowledgeable and professional. The estimate that was given to me had all the information I requested and was written out clearly and legible. Unfortunately, I did not choose Promar Roofing due to the price. It was over my budget limit. Thank you!

This roof had been repaired several times before without success.Promar roofing was called to correct this reoccurring problem. We had originally contracted the job to an independent contractor who was recommended to us, that contractor cancelled on us at the last minute after making appointment after appointment and never showing up to do the work. We needed the job to be completed the same week that we called Rick. We were going out of town, we were having a party that weekend and part of the ceiling inside the home had been severely damaged. Rick came out, gave an estimate which we accepted and agreed to have the work completed by Friday. Rick and his team were professional. The work was done in a timely manner as promised. The clean-up was excellent. It appears that the problem has been corrected. The price was fair.

It was great. They had great contact with me, there was a little confusion beacuse of a storm but I called and they realized it was their mistake and they sent a large crew out right away to correct the problem and get the roof done.

We picked Promar from Angie's list and gave them a call to come out and give us an estimate. Rick Hrdina was very prompt and he came to see us the same day, explained us the steps and all the details on what will be done and immediately gave us an estimate. Rick is very professional in following up with us. A week later we decided to go with Promar as their pricing and professionalism made us pick them as we had gotten quotes from other roofers. The entire crew worked three days to finish all the jobs listed, old roof tear-off, cleaning the debris, new roof installation, gutter, leaf relief and downspout installation, soffit, fascia installation etc. We really like the new roof. After tearing off the old shingles, they found the plywood beneath was not up to standard code and would probably okay to install new shingles over but left the decision to us to replace the entire plywood. We decided to replace the entire plywood considering the fact that our house is 40 yrs old and will be best to put new shingles over the new plywood. Even though it was a little surprise from a cost perspective, i think i like it after taking that decision as we want to have the best for the house. I appreciate their being honest and told us about that. After the roof replacement, we found a small part in our upstairs ceiling has broken. They immediatley fixed it and painted it. i would definitely recommend them for roofing services and any exterior services. i will definitely use them in future.

The job of putting on a new roof, only took two days to complete . they started when they said they would and had a supervisor on the job site at all times . The roof was a major undertaking with 3 layers and not a plywood base layer. they were clean and professional and even when I had to make a change in what I wanted for venting ; there was no problem in changing and no additional cost added . The project went so smooth and quick that I couldn't believe it. Not only they inspected the job with me on completion but the owner came out the next day to walk me thru the entire job and reinspect the work. PROMAR GUARANTEES THEIR WORK AND ONLY USED ROOFING FROM A MANUFACTOR THAT STANDS BEHIND THE PRODUCT. The financing terms were the best we came across and it fit our budget. The install teams were professional and the clean up was terrific. I would absolutely use Promar again without hesitation.
