Good Move Movers is a moving and storage company located in Elmhurst, Illinois. We specialize in local residential moving. We also have temperature controlled, fully licensed and insured warehouse. Our prices for local packing and moving are always competitive and our storage pricing is prorated per day. We also do overnight storage to accommodate closing days. All moving professionals must pass background checks.

Good Move Movers were great to work with. Everyone that we were in contact with was so responsive. When the day came the movers were so quick and efficient when taking apart our furniture and also taking care of any loose items. They were super careful and attentive to moving things into our new home so that nothing was damaged. Very professional and great to work with overall!

Manny, Alex, George and crew were great. Very courteous and accommodating when asked to move things a couple times. Called 30 minutes beforehand to let me know they were on their way. Chris Dunne was great to work with for our move requirements. Would use again.

We had used Good Move Movers to move my mother-in-law to her new place a couple of years ago and they did a nice job so we decided to use them when it was time for our move. They gave us a prompt quote on moving our belongings to the new house. We set the date for the move. They arrived on the date with six men and promptly started moving the boxes and furniture. The guys worked hard and were polite. It was a big job and took two trips but they got all the boxes in and the furniture into the right places. I was happy with the move.

Good Move Movers were great, it was a lot of rooms of furniture, some heavy, some delicate. They took care with all of our things. Theresa was helpful and a good communicator. Manny and Chris gave me a fair quote for some difficult furniture disassembly..

Chris, the manager returned my calls in a timely manner and answered all my questions and concerns. Carlos and his team were very fast, efficient and friendly. The price was reasonable too and I would plan to refer them to other people.

The move could not have gone smoother. What a great team ... Manny, Saoul, Ralphie, and the others were polite, fast, respectful, incredibly efficient, and tireless. The truck arrived on time and the men jumped right in, and they completed the job very close to within the estimated time frame. All of our belongings arrived intact! Management was responsive and answered all my many questions quickly and thoroughly. I definitely recommend to anyone needing a professional moving service.

Moving is stressful, especially when you're closing on two houses in one day. Every interaction with Good Move Movers was fantastic, and the entire process was smooth. My estimate was scheduled the same day I initially inquired, and I had a quote that evening. The price was very reasonable, and the communication leading up to the move was great. Since we were closing on the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new house on the same day, we had decided to move out on one day and move in the next. Chris was able to coordinate a hold-over for one night, which was something that other companies either would not do or charged a lot more for. On moving day, the team did a fantastic job of carefully wrapping and packing our things. They took care to keep the house clean, which was especially tough since it was raining during the move. The next day, the team arrived and unloaded our things into our new home. Everything was set up exactly where we wanted it, and the team was done quickly. The entire move ended up taking exactly as much time as they had quoted for, and I ended up paying exactly what was quoted. The entire experience was fantastic, and I absolutely recommend Good Move Movers!

I was referred to Good Move Movers by a family member. From the initial contact to the last box being moved in, everything was so smooth and easy. They worked around my schedule, the movers were on time, they were very efficient and organized. I have some very expensive and oddly sized older furniture and somehow they managed to get it down the stairs without so much as a nick. The move was very reasonable, especially given the level of service and attention to detail. You just don't get that kind of service anymore, but this business still puts the customer first. I will definitely be using them again, they made moving suck way less than it normally does!

This is my second move with Good Move. These guys are the best! Chris, the owner, is always available, and most often answers the phone. He is straightforward and honest - a plain talker who doesn't try to upsell services, or conceal additional charges. Theresa does all things paperwork, and is a delight to deal with. All of the movers that we've encountered have been REALLY hardworking, polite, professional - and seem to genuinely love their jobs. Our two movers this time, Matty and AJ (I think that was their names) were great! Fast and efficient, worked well together, and were extremely respectful of our property. They were also tolerant of our dogs, so that we didn't even need to lock them up. Good Move is simply the best company that I've encountered. I would definitely use them again!

They were AMAZING. They took extra care to wrap and protect the furniture from the construction dust in the garage. They were friendly, professional and clearly wanted to handle our things as we requested. They were positive and efficient about the work. When returning furniture to the house, Art and his team took the time to help remove sharp “feet” from the furniture and also applied new felt pads (that we had purchased). They were patient as we cleaned dust off some pieces before placing them. Art even used wood glue to repair some pieces on our piano (that had been damaged years ago) and a furniture marker to repair a chip in our dining room table (also an old piece of damage). I could not recommend them more highly!! Don’t hesitate to call- I would give A+++ if I could!!

Absolutely thrilled at how smooth everything went. The enitre staff and crew did an excellent job. From my first contact with the owner, Chris, to the correspondence from Theresa to the movng crew, Art, Danny and Manny. Art came to our home to provide an esitmate and I knew right away he was straight forward and answered many questions. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and very organized. They really are very professional and took time to do the job right. We moved from one house to another and required our furniture to be stored for a few nights. We were in good hands. We were very happy with how they made sure that our furniture was one thing we did not have to even think about. They did an excellent job taking away the furniture and excellent job setting it back up for us. They are truly hard working and a reasonable price. We would recommend this company in a heartbeat!
