Description of Work: I hate calling a plumber. I had multiple issues (backed up bathtub, toilet runs, water pressure issues in sink, decayed pipes) that could no longer wait. Used Angie's list to find this plumber service. I had a great experience. Very down to earth. They communicated when they would arrive. Leo did a thorough review of the pipes including going into the dreaded crawl space looking for leaks. He tackled every issue, cleaned up better than he found it, recommended options with low sales pitch. I can't say enough about the experience. I would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: They came at 10:30 PM on a Saturday night for a leaking water heater and replaced it the next morning. Extremely accommodating and made efforts to reduce the price without reducing quality. Very pleased and impressed!

Description of Work: Called them because of an active leak. They came that evening but did NOT charge for an emergency visit. Very professional, friendly and courteous. Actually listened to my explanation then went about checking for and finding |the leak, repairing it and cleaning everything up before they left. They even took the wet paper towels with them in case there was any mold present. I had an old hot water heater in the basement that was no longer hooked up. I explained I had a towel on the pipes so no one would run into |them and they took it away for me!! THEN, as one of the gentlemen was hauling the old water softener out, the other salted the ice on my driveway so my Mom didnt fall. Unheard of! They were awesome. They rate higher than A

Description of Work: The cartridge on my kitchen faucet wore out. It was a very nice,but unusual, faucet purchased from Sears Great Indoors several years ago. Kaz went through a lot of trouble to get the replacement for me. It took several weeks to get it but his persistence paid off. He called me the day it arrived to his office. The next day, Ivan came out and replaced it. He was great. I was so pleased with their work, I'm redoing my bathroom next month and I'm having them do the plumbing work.

Description of Work: It was an emergency - water was leaking profusely from a kitchen faucet and its pipes! | |After overcoming panic, my daughter and I found the named plumber, called, and the help was here magically within an hour. The plumber was efficient, pleasant, and he made the emergency quite palatable. He returned the next day to accomplish some other needed plumbing adjustments which was excellent. We laud the prompt and good service, and we would recommend the company to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Description of Work: Two plumbers showed up and replaced my bathroom faucet and installed new shut off valves on several of my sinks and toilets since they no longer functioned. |Quality work was done quickly. |I've used J&S several times before. I appreciate the fact that unlike another plumbing concern in Arlington Heights, they do not try to constantly "upsell" you with work you don't need. I would certainly call on them again
