Lifeline was great. Our hot water heater went out tonight and within 1.5 hours of calling Brandon was here ready to replace our hot water heater. He gave us multiple options and discussed each in detail with us. Very professional and will definitely use again.

Mike showed up on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Mike quoted me on rebuilding vs replacing the toilet. I decided to replace it since it was the original toilet and not as efficient as toilets sold today. He also looked at the drain and quoted me on what it would take to repair it. Quotes were reasonable based on the scope of work that needed to be done. I actually ended up signing up for their maintenance plan because I have some other work that needs to be done and the benefits and discounts I get should help pay for the plan.

Mike D did a very professional job, and was very good at explaining all the details of everything done. Not only did he replace both faucets, but reworked defective 20-year old plumbing. Excellent work, and I wholeheartedly recommend him and his organization.

We called Lifeline for an estimate. The sales rep. came out and asked us what we were looking for. He recommended Amana as the brand and said he would send us a quote the next day, calling to make sure we received it. He called, saying there was a delay and the quote would come the following day. It never show up and he never called again. We checked out Amana as a brand and found it had low ratings. So we went with one of the other companies who seemed more interested in our business.

Sam D'A was a pleasure to work with! He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything and gave great suggestions and tips. He is genuine personally and in his work ethic. He did amazing work, was efficient, clean and reviewed everything with me to make sure I was happy. Great. Mike works all our plumbing issues for an old home. Very helpful. Always on time. Fixed the pump and quoted a replacement leaky faucet.

The service provider was good and did the work that I needed. If I had a complaint would be this: I used an Angies Deal. The cost was for the deal was $252 which was fine. What I did not like and it was not stated on the deal was that there was an addition $39 fee for them to show up. That needs to be specified on the deal.

Chris did a terrible job fixing our central A/C. He was very professional and did quality work. Would use again! Highly recommend!

Anthony quickly assessed the situation. He removed the blockage, cleaned the toilet bowl and tested the toilet to ensure it flushed properly with no blockage. While it wasn't his job to clean the toilet bowl, I certainly appreciated his effort.

Mike D was very punctual and very professional while he was here. He slipped on booties immediately after he walked in the door and did a great job explaining our current set up and some of the options to improve upon what we had. He was straightforward and honest and had a great attitude throughout the entire visit. It went extremely well. Mike D. quickly diagnosed the problem and explained my options. I did not get pressured to select the most expensive option. Mike D. performed the work quickly.

The alarm on the ejector pump started going off one evening indicating a malfunction. I called Lifeline the next morning and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. Mike D. came to the house and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty switch. Sounds like a simple fix, but the pit is sealed and the lid bolted to the floor, and to make it more interesting part of the lid rests under the wall trim board. To remove the lid would have required dismantling the PVC pipes to free the lid from under the trim board. Mike suggested instead to cut a hole in the lid so he could service the pump that day, then place a cap over the whole and seal with silicone; this would allow easy access to the pump should it need service again. What could have taken several hours Mike completed in about an hour. I have been using this company for about 4 years and have always received great service. Thanks Lifeline and thanks Mike D.!

Mike D was out to help us with our sump system issue. We needed to replace our back up battery and our back up sump, which had failed. We decided to put in a new system that has a lot more safeguards. Our system, besides needing a new back up sump and battery, was antiquated a had issues with safeguards failing. This system is more technologically advanced than our old one and pumps more water out to boot. It also has more safeguards and fail safe measures. Not being a handy person nor having one in the house, I needed a system I wouldn't have to worry about. Mike has always done an outstanding job and helped us find the right system. Thanks Mike!

Chris has worked on our furnace several times and each time he does excellent work. He always explains what needs to be done and he is very thorough in his work. He is meticulous too, so the place looks cleaner when his work is done than before he started working! I highly recommend Chris.

I called Lifelineto get a quote to replace an existing water heater. They said someone needed to come so as to provide a better estimate for $39. fair enough. The technician came and looks at the water and billed me $137 (extra $98 for diagnostic). what a rip off. If you just need a water heater replacement, please call Center Guard Plumbing. They will assess your current water heater specifications, provide a good estimate over the phone and schedule service for the next day. I used Center Guard Plumbing to replace my water heater for 50% less than the quote from Lifeline.

We had a strange occurrence happen, water coming out of a smoke detector, we initially thought this was a plumbing issue. We called Lifeline Plumbing, they quickly responded, had a plumber (Anthony) out to our house within an hour. After running all the water in the house, he determined this was not plumbing related. This was a huge relief. It turns out this was related to condensation built up in the attic. While he was here, we started talking about possibly having a water softener installed. He explained the benefits of having one, especially if you have hard water, (we do). He wrote up two different proposals. One for the basic water softener, one for the better of the two, this one removes all the chemicals from the water, basically having filtered water throughout your whole house. If you have a water dispenser on your refrigerator, no need to buy those filters anymore. We decided on the better of the two, the price difference was not much more. We also asked if he could replace a showerhead in our bathroom and flappers in two of our toilets. We set a date for the following Friday. Anthony did a great job, he was on time, he had to make modifications to our pipes, so the water softener could be installed in our furnace/water heater room. He took his time, he was here all day, we knew this ahead of time, because of the necessary modifications to pipes. worked the whole time, he didn't even take a lunch break. He changed out the showerhead and flappers. We are so pleased with all of his work. Very nice, professional. He cleaned his mess afterwards. He showed us how to fill the salt, how often. Before he left we discussed having new sump pumps put in at a later date, we will definitely call Lifeline Plumbing, when we are ready to do this. It's only been 4 days we already notice a big difference in the quality of our water. Very pleased. Thank you Lifeline, Anthony is a great asset to your team.

On Saturday 2/09/19 we were alerted by our Ion Genesis sensor (previously installed by Lifeline Plumbing) that our dual sump pumps were running continuously. We called Lifeline Plumbing and Anthony promptly arrived later that day as scheduled. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a frozen sump pump discharge line. After patiently and courteously answering all our questions Anthony quickly and professionally fixed the problem. And he even changed the handle on a running toilet at no extra charge. We continue to be thoroughly pleased with the professionalism and courteousness of Lifeline Plumbing personnel and highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Sam and Kevin came over on time with a call beforehand to let me know their ETA. They introduced themselves to me upon arrival (surprisingly, not every contractor does this.) Sam explained what needed to be done and offered me the options for various sump pumps. When the install was completed, Sam explained what he did and asked if I had any questions. He had all the needed brochures to explain the features. I also decided to have the backup battery replaced...you can never be too safe. Very neat and tidy when the job was done. Homeowners want to feel comfortable with the contractor and Sam/Kevin did this. If Kevin follows the customer relationship steps of Sam, he will also be a great plumber. I will definitely call them when I need any future work.

Coldest Polar Vortex in history -44F, our 10+ year old furnace said no more. Travis, from Lifeline was here in 3 hours. We upgraded to a dual stage, 96%ECM, 100,000 BTU, HVAC. Travis also was able to get us a $450 ComEd rebate. Before leaving, he loaned us new, highly efficient space heaters, while they picked up our new system. Bob and John completed installation within 3 hours, no breaks. Its worth noting they also installed our A/C in 2017 with the same elitist standards as our new HVAC. I would highly recommend to family and friends. Lifeline has become like family, -perfectionist till the end. My hat is off to you, Lifeline.
