Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling

I submitted the request for service on their website on a Sunday afternoon and received a call back about an hour later confirming the appointment window for the following afternoon. Sam called when he was about 10-15 minutes away to let me know he was coming. I showed him the problem, he gave me the quote which I agreed to and then he went to work. After he was finished, he had me check to make sure the water was running properly around the house before he left. From start to finish, it took less than 1 hour.

Other plumber wanted to charge $9,000 and tear up my bedroom floor. They did the job for $4,000, and after cleaning out the pipe, showed me with their camera that the part going under bedroom floor did not need to be replaced at all. Not only were they significantly cheaper, they saved me the trouble and expense of repairing bedroom flooring. I definitely will use them again, and recommend them highly.

Lenny and Kevin found that the sump pump I thought I purchased about 7 years earlier was not what I had been told by a different plumbing company. Lenny and Kevin put in a new sump pump. They also found where water was coming from and replaced and repaired piping from washer and laundry sink and furnace to improve getting water to sump pump area. They were able to do it the same day and left everything very clean when they were finished.

Tried to sell me an $1800 pump when all I needed was a new float switch. After he completed the work he mentioned to my wife that we may need to replace our water heater soon. Took a shower this morning and the water was Luke warm. Went down to the utility area and saw that the temperature was turned way down on the water heater. What a scam artist!! Trying to create more work for himself by sabatoging our water heater. DO NOT HIRE.

I had taken the day off work for a doctor appointment in the afternoon, so when I called to make the appointment for the morning I was told the earliest appointment window they had was from 10 AM to 1 PM. I said that would be fine but earlier would be better since I had a doctor appointment that afternoon. The girl on the phone said that shouldn't be a problem since the technician had a small job before mine at 8 AM and could probably be there before 10. The day of my appointment came, and I made sure everything was ready for the technician to arrive by 9 AM. When it got to be 12:45 and I had not heard or seen the technician yet, I called the office to find out what was going on. The girl on the phone said that she would contact the technician and get a status update and call me back. At 1 o'clock I received a phone call from the technician saying that he was in Aurora, and it would be over an hour before he would be to my house. Since I had my doctor appointment to go to, I told him to cancel the appointment since he would be here after 2 o'clock and not the 10 AM to 1 PM window that the appointment was scheduled for.

Very well. Phil arrived promptly and was very professional. He was respectful of our house by wearing covers over his shoes in the house. He took time to explain the state on our furnace and water heater. He also checked my kitchen sink for a possible lick which he found was a loosening of putty around the seal of the sink, a minor thing he said and He fixed this without charge. We hope to continue to use this company and Phil for our maintenance needs going forward. .

Travis was punctual and called us to let us know that he was on his way. After he arrived he thoroughly checked the outside a/c unit. He found the source of the noise and explained to us what needed to be replaced...only the capacitor. The freon was fine. He then asked us if we would like him to check out the furnace. Usually I would say no, but I figured better to have it done. He cleaned the furnace and then said he potentially saw a problem..maybe a crack but asked us if he could make a small hole in the venting to get a better look. If it was a crack then their maybe a potential for carbon dioxide leaking. He cut a small hole and looked in through the hole with a small flexible camera. It was all ok. He said he felt better to check it out knowing what may happen if it would have been cracked. This is the reason that I trust Lifeline. They saved us a year ago when we had a major plumbing problem. They are reasonable priced and what is the most important thing...they're HONEST! I trust them. They are responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. I almost forgot to write this review since it was back in July that Travis came out but the recent 90 degree hot spell which hit us in September made me thankful every time my A/C kicked in and quietly worked. Thanks, Travis!! My wife is comfortable cool and there is no price you can put on that!!!

Tech came and did inspection. Gave us his analysis of current equipment. Gave several recommendation, including prices, for new/replacement equipment. Tech appeared very competent (said he was a master plumber). Excellent representative for his company.

Apparently the $39 service call covers the trip out and diagnosis. Replacing the supply line was $145. After the $50 coupon, this simple fix was $95.00. The estimate for the new fill valve was $260. Since I had done it myself in the past, I questioned the high cost and was told "That's the Angie's list price." I said, "No thanks" ordered the part on Amazon and installed it myself the next day. I am a 64 year-old woman.

They were in and out of the house in about 10 min. The toilet flushes, so it worked. We have had plumbers I thought were more reasonable. We paid $145 additional as the deal included a $50 credit.

Told us it was broken and we needed a new one. He gave us a quote.

They were great to work with. Did a great job and fixed someone else’s mistake. Sam D'Amato was polite, professional, neat and did great work!

It couldn't have gone any better. Excellent workmanship, super new A/C at a competitive price.

It went amazing. I was needing this work done to sell my home for the buyers. I called on Monday and by Wed they were at my house. Brent and Anthony showed up to my house (no one lived there) and were able to let themselves in with the lock box code on my front door. Brent sent me an estimate via text and was able to start the job immediately. Within the hour all of the issues were completed and via talking with Brent I was told about a military discount with this company. I was a US Marine and was honored that a company like would give a discount to me for serving my country, For this fact I would hire this company again but working with Brent and Anthony I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. I was very pleased with the service. Chris was very pleasant & professional and would have him come again for any future heating or cooling issues. I would also try lifeline if I had a plumbing issue.

It was very good. The people the came out were wonderful and it was a very good experience overall. They were very cooperative, very nice, understanding about my mother's circumstances. They were very good. In her circumstance, being as she's 90, I tend to think the lower the better, but I don't think they were unreasonable. They were within the common range. I am always looking for better prices. Everything seems to be perfect. I really had no complaints where they are concerned. I would use them again.

Everything seems fine. Lifeline has a warranty on their work. Everything was cleaned up. I appreciated that I wasn't pressured to do other work I inquired about. I felt Sam was honest and knew what needed to be done. I would definitely hire Lifeline again for any other plumbing needs.

They were very prompt in responding to my initial request for service (done online). They came on the day I made the request (Sunday) which was great as they claimed they don't charge different rates depending on the day. The arrived right on time and did the work very quickly. They gave me an estimate before they did the work and I approved it before they started. The initial fee to come out was waived $39 as I had them complete the work. They charged $300 to reset the toilet and $275 to fix the sink. I thought it was a bit expensive but given that it was taken care of so quickly and they did a good job it was worth it.

Excellent. Chris was awesome. On time, positive, polite, professional and left me with additional tips on how to help maintain the life of my system. I will definitely keep there information for future needs.

I used one of the Angie's list coupons. From the time I phoned to confirm Lifeline comes as far out as we live to the completion of the job the Lifeline team was courteous, professional and personable. When I called to confirm they will come as far as we live (Oswego) the rep on the phone, after saying yes to our location, ensured she understood the problem and worked with me to find a convenient time for the appointment. On the day of the appointment Brent and Anthony phoned ahead to say the were on their way and provided an ETA (which they hit). Upon arrival Brent, who was the point man, went out of his way to great me and introduce me to Anthony, his trainee. They both immediately put on the booties and asked to see the problem. They, too, confirmed they do not need the city to turn off the main line into the house. Brent wrote up an estimate on the spot. While doing the work he also answered a general question we had about the smell in the basement and suggested we look into our dehumidifier's possible recall. He mentioned many are on recall. Both those extras were not required for the job in question but showed great care for us, the customers. Brent and Anthony were done within the hour even after cleaning up and walking my wife and me through the work completed.

Our plumber, Sam, was punctual, courteous and very professional. Informative, fair and helpful with questions. Jobs were done quickly and we are very happy with the results! Would highly recommend!

Technician Brian arrived on schedule and performed the service professionally. The furnace was cleaned and all voltages checked, etc. He did not try to up-sell me on any other services and I would definitely hire Lifeline again. I have have used Lifeline on 3 or 4 occasions in the past with similar results.

Very well. They did a great job. Tried to talk me into some kind of enrollment but I declined and they didn't try to high pressure me . I appreciated that.

The technician evaluated the situation, made recommendations, advised on how best to handle a couple of unexpected complications, and completed the repair. His recommendations panned out. Nice job. This was a small job; based on this experience I would consider using them for a larger job.

Arrived as scheduled, explained possible problems and solutions, repaired the spigot without cutting into the wall and at a fair price.
