The gentlemen were prompt, courteous, and showed me the deteriorated conditions, but did not pressure me to spend more. They explained that while the toilet would certainly need replacing, it wasn't essential that I do so immediately. I appreciated the "no pressure" approach.

They came out to look at the flood in my in-law’s basement. They advised me that it was probably the switch within the old pump that failed. I appreciated their information. After the original vendor wouldn't fix the pump at my in-law's home, we went with Lifeline Plumbing. Mike did a great job. He was very willing to work with us between the two homes. He made the installations seamless. They corrected an issue with my in-law's home and made sure everything was working properly.

The plumber arrived around 1pm and stayed until about 7pm. His work was very professional and he explained exactly what he did. He also did some work for our outside spigot. He stayed long enough to make sure the work was done well.

The sump pump total service was $1,500 and the kitchen plumbing was $700. The service was awesome; they were really good at what they did.

After looking for a top-rated plumber on Angie's List, I called Lifeline Plumbing at 9:00 Monday morning. By 2:30 that afternoon I had a new water heater! They were able to send someone out to the house at 1:00 that afternoon and they made an assessment that, after 18 years, my water heater needed to be replaced. They had the size I needed right on the truck and proceeded to replace my water heater without any problems. Within an hour and a half they were done. The technician, Mike D., and his co-worker were courteous, pleasant, professional, answered all my questions and were careful not to damage my house. I was pleased with their work as well as their overall responsiveness. I would recommend Lifeline.

The service man was prompt and easy to communicate with. He cleaned the sump well made a few adjustments, filled the backup battery and told me everything was working just fine. He also gave me advice on the probable life of the pumps and how to check on manufacturer build dates.

Mike seemed very well informed. He provided quotes for different capacity water heaters with different options. He did it in a manner that was very logical and we could see exactly how much each option cost. When asked he gave us his opinion on whether we needed the options. There was no pressure or attempt to sell something we didn't need.

Everything went fine. However, the faucet I had wasn't working at all and I needed to have this done quickly. Tyler fit me in right away and came the same day to install my kitchen faucet. I appreciate the expediency however when he told me the price I was only going to have the kitchen done. I wanted both the kitchen and the bathroom faucets replaced considering they were needed and why have them come back at a later time. I was going to change my mind when I heard the price. I went ahead with it anyway and still have a question about the cost. I believe had I had the time to investigate and compare I would have been able to get this done for less. It spoke with Tyler about my concerns and he mentioned how much overhead he has etc. The price remained the same. The other thing that I didn't like was that there was no price breakdown for each part of the job. I discussed this with Tyler also as a way to give him feedback about his service. Considering I will have to work many many hours to pay this bill I ;just have a hard time believing this is the going rate. I can only speculate about what the cost would be for something major... Anyway the faucets work great and for that I am pleased.

went ver good. Technician was on time, opened and inspected our sump pump. He explained what we needed to know about the good and bad of it. Gave us several estimates to have the sump pump fixed and brought up to code. Now we are deciding how to proceed. Would use again.

After moving in the day before to our first home, we noticed a leak in the basement from the ejector pump valve. Lifeline was highly rated and I am so glad we called. They came out (even on a Sunday), diagnosed the problem accurately and gave us many options. The team was friendly and very professional. During what was a really stressful time of moving, Lifeline helped us out with their prompt service. I will definitely be calling them for future plumbing issues!

Called Lifeline first thing in the morning to arrange a service call. They weren't able to accommodate me until early that evening, which they did, at no extra cost. Mike was punctual, professional and friendly. He was also more than competent, taking care of the entire job in just a little over an hour at a reasonable price. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike and his company if you have water heater trouble.

Excellent! Mike D was able to locate the leak rather quickly and without tearing up everything. he repaired leak then put everything back together without leaving a mess. All we had to do was apply a touchup of paint. Service man showed up at scheduled time and was courtious and actually kind of funny. We're a bit outside of service area but worth it. Company origininal recommended through a friend at work.

Tried to sell pricey solution and didn't leave quote he worked up (I mentioned that I new a plumber who had originally installed our sump pump).

Professional but the price to buy a new sump pump and back up pump was expensive so bought one elsewhere

It went well per the above. The owner also offered to provide an estimate for alleviating a sump pump drainage issue. I look forward to seeing that estimate and will seriously consider hiring Lifetime Plumbing for that work if it is affordable.

Once Tyler arrived, it went good. They were to be at my house between 10 and 1. They had a computer mishap that took me off the schedule. I called after 3 hours and found this out. They came an hour later. A 4 hour wait is unheard of. Wasted most of the day.

On the preceding Thursday night, we'd had 7" of rain. When a previous owner had added a 3-car garage to the house, the original sump pump in the basement (by the old garage) was routed to cascade into a second sump pump in the corner of the new garage. Between the water from the pump in the house, and the water that drained directly into the garage sump, the new garage sump pump just couldn't keep up with the volume of water. The inside of the house stayed dry, fortunately, but there was about 1" of water in the front half of the garage, and the pump was running continuously. Friday morning, the water was receding in the garage, but that afternoon I noticed there was water covering the floor again. Also that afternoon, I noticed that the backup pump inside the house was the one that was cycling on, not the primary pump. I called Lifeline because we had been pleased with their previous work replacing a waste-water sump pump in our laundry room. On initial contact, they told me it would be late Sunday afternoon before they could get a crew to my house, because (no big surprise!!) they were overwhelmed with calls related to the Thursday night storm. But Saturday morning they called and said they could get somebody there late Saturday afternoon; I had to decline because no one would be home. On Saturday afternoon, they called again and said they could come Sunday morning; unfortunately I'd been scheduled to work and that wouldn't work out either. So their crew showed up very close to the start of the 4-7 pm time window, and got right to work. They replaced both primary pumps, and connected in the battery-powered backup pump that was already in the basement sump. They also spent some time with me making suggestions for the drain line I'd decided to put in for the pumps to empty into, running from the house to a creek on our property. With regard to the previous service in our laundry room, they replaced a waste-water sump pump that I had just replaced a few weeks earlier and had already failed (and which I returned for a refund). The price was somewhat higher than I would have liked, but I'm confident in the quality of the work they did and of the pumps they installed. Besides, there aren't too many other plumbers (if there are any at all!) who will come on a Sunday afternoon and NOT charge exorbitant fees.

Great job by these guys. I knew I needed a new sump pump and back up. They went over every option I needed and let me decided on the amount I wanted to spend and the unit that would be installed. I have a finished basement and flooded some before so very nervous about any rain that happens. They installed a top of the line system, and a top flight backup and now sleep well during any storm, power or no power. They also went above and beyond by cleaning out the bottom of the basin and didn't even know it needed it. Would use them in an instant again.

Technician came in to do an inspection on our sump system in basement. Was very clean and courteous. Showed us a battery back-up system wasn't even working anymore. Gave us our options for repair. Did not try an over sell new services and gave us several options for a new system to be put in. The technician was great. A couple weeks later flooding rains hit Chicago. Our basement was high and dry because we got our issues resolved prior to the heavy rains.

The plumber showed up on time and assessed the problem quickly. He explained each step needed and provided thorough estimates on the repairs. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very pleasant. One stop to the local store for a part and he fixed the problem in less than a half hour. While the service was stellar the repair cost more than I budgeted (although that's always the case with home repairs); he even called his office to possibly apply any discounts and I was able to use the 20% discount coupon. He also offered some helpful tips to prevent future costly repairs. A greater plumber, there is none! Definitely, a repeat customer (but hopefully, not too soon)! HA!

Two men came and checked our our sump pump. They gave us suggestions on what can be done to improve it. Good job.

Tyler looked at the old water heater and showed me what was wrong with it in simple terms. He was professional and honest. He let me know exactly what he needed to do and how much it would cost upfront. He hauled away the old water heater and did not leave any mess behind. I highly recommend this company and this technician.
