The work took about two hours. I was happy with the analysis of what was wrong and with the replacement. The provider offered twice yearly checks and advised me how to make sure the system continued working well.

He came to clean the hot water heater. He did that and then answered questions we had about water that had been on the basement floor. He explained that the old sump pump had been installed when the house had been built (1989) and needed to be replaced. He gave us choices about the sump pump, actually telling us that the biggest motor probably wasn't necessary. He installed the pump for us then and we are good to go! He did a good job and was honest with us. He dressed better than the usual plumber too.

It was fine, but then I was told some very expensive options I should probably do because of my weak pump. I later had my contractor look at it and he said it was fine.

I bought the Big deal sump pump inspection. Well, I wanted to save some money on the sump pump install so I went and bought my own high end Sump pump to have it installed by the plumber. The plumber shown up on time as scheduled per the time window. I gave the plumber a list of things I would like done in addition to installing my own sump pump which I told the scheduler and she said that was fine. The additional items I wanted to have done were install three new shut off valves two for the washer and one exterior hose valve. He did test my old sump pump and determined its was going to fail soon which I knew this already that's why I contacted Lifeline. So I had the plumber write up the proposal. After he was done I was quoted around $1800.00 to install my own sump pump and three other small things. So I asked the plumber, how much for just the Sump pump install he said $700.00. I was wow, how long will it take you to install the pump? Around an hour he said. So I told the plumber I would pass on the whole proposal. You do the math. One hr @ $700.00. For that price I ended up installing the pump myself with the help of my neighbor. I also ended up calling another high rated plumbing Co on Angie's list and asked out of curiosity how much they would charge me to install my own sump pump they told $150.00 with parts and If I purchased their new Pump installed $399.00 complete. So I'm pretty smart when it comes to pricing things thanks to Angie's list! I have seen big deals on Angie's List sump pump installs for as little as $325.00 with a brand new Sump pump. So I'm not understanding where they get the pricing from. I suggest that anyone who has this company to their home for plumbing work and it seems high get a second opinion due to the pricing seems extremely high to me. I cannot comment on their work quality, since I didn't have the work done but at that price I don't see it.

Used the coupon on Angie's list, so paid about $50 per toilet; otherwise they wanted $650 total. Without coupon it is way overpriced. So, it worked out.

Provider missed first appointment (failed to show up or call) due to an apparent scheduling/calendar error on their part. Caused some inconvenience for us but we gave them another try. Called when on their way for second scheduled appointment and came punctually within the allotted time frame. Very courteous and professional, honest man provided service. Clean, covered shoes with protective covering before entering the home. Sat down and explained purpose of visit and inspected all equipment thoroughly and carefully before performing any work. Gave honest and timely feedback and information. Gave written proposal of work with price quotes and detailed description of work. Offered 20% discount for all services because we used Angie's List to identify the provider. Very timely and courteous, friendly service. Offered advice and guidance for management of clogged drains to help prevent problems and thus help limit future need for plumbers. Excellent work.

It went very well. The plumber was there on time as scheduled and he was very thorough and very detailed at going over my options with me.

The service person, Mike, called ahead and let me know he was coming and showed up during the appointed time slot. I had purchased a toilet tune-up. He offered me the most cost effective option for the tune-up which I appreciated. While fixing that, it was noted that there was another part that was cracking and loose. This was not covered under the tune-up. He had to take the tank apart in order to repair that piece. This did cost extra but was reasonable. The work was completed quickly and looked like it was done well and everything was cleaned up afterwards. During his time at my home we talked about some other services and Mike was very helpful about explaining everything and going over the benefits of the various options. Based on my experience I would use them again.

We had an outside faucet that was no longer functioning. We selected Lifeline plumbing to do the job. They looked at the outside faucet and diagnosed the issue quickly and replaced the outside faucet that was malfuntioing as well as the other outside faucet that was still function as requested by us. He also installed a water shutoff on the outside faucets sowe could turn off the water on the warm side of the wall. While he was on site we also had him look at the kitchen faucet which the handle had broken off and was leaking. We were interested in a touch faucet for the kitchen which we had been seeing in tv commercials and magazine ads. He could not find what we were looking for in there stock parts but contacted the office and found what we were looking for After installing the new kitchen faucet he spent time showing me how to use the faucet and all of the features. The plumbers that came from Lifline plumbing were very friendly and professionl. They showed up at the time they said they would be here. They took time to protect the floor and kitchen cabinets and made sure that everything was cleaned and back to the way it was before he left. We will definitley use Lifeline Plumbing again for any plumbing needs that we have.

I'll say this first, Lifeline plumbing did get to the house quickly. That is where all the good things ended. The quote for this work was ridiculous. There was ONE broken pipe...a 4 inch piece of PVC that had come out of position. The one that goes from the wall to the p-trap. The piece at home depot costs less than 3 dollars. The garbage disposal was not broken. The pipes were not clogged. I will say that dishwasher is drained into the garbage disposal inlet. The plumber said that isn't up to code and he would need to route the drain line into the the actual drain pipe. I understand that as he is a licensed plumber and they have rules. What I don't understand is the pricing they quoted. I feel like they were taking advantage of the situation. I was in a bind, and they knew renters were in the house and it needed to be fixed. Here are the quote levels: "Replace the garbage disposal with 1/2 hp disposal, rod out the pipe clogs, and replace pipes." $1125 "Attempt to rod out kitchen sink, replace pipes, and test for proper operation" $945 "Attempt to rod out sink and just reconnect existing plumbing" $595 After an argument with the plumber on the phone regarding his outrageous prices, I decided to just do it myself. I am a NOVICE plumber at best so keep in mind it takes me a little longer to do everything than it should take this licensed plumber. Tool to rod out sink - $50 Pipes to replace broken ones - $3 Total time to rod out pipes, fix pipes, and test for leaks - 25 minutes! Even if I replaced every pipe under the sink, the total costs come out to less $100 and total time to fix would be under 1 hr. Meaning this guy essentially was charging $1000 per hour for labor. I have multiple houses and am constantly in need of plumbing repairs. It would have been great to get a fair quote from this company and be able to use them again in the future for other projects. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. I won't be calling them ever again.

It went fine. Everything was done well and at a reasonable price.

Very well. The gentleman was very informative.

Arrived on time. Knew what he was doing. Recommended several things we could do to make the toilet function better and last longer. This is the apartment of a tenant so I cannot report on how the toilet works after the work was done.

It was alright. The only thing that really came out of it was that he told me that I need a new unit. It was supposed to be flushed, but I'm not sure if it was flushed. I suppose the $59 was well spent for the advice. I'm not going to have them do any replacement work. I thought it was a good price for what he did. He wrote up a whole lot of stuff that I asked about replacing and the price was way up there. I wasn't going to do any business with him. He was very professional.

Lifeline Plumbing sent over Keith and he did an awesome job! He was professional, courteous, and timely. Couldn't have asked for better service. I will definitely be calling again!

We had good communication with the sales person.

Our toilet would not stop running. We called Lifeline and they came out and replaced the guts inside the toilet tank. Have had no problems since. Would recommend them for this service.

Mike was on time & very polite. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing and he gave me estimates on other things that I wanted done at a later date. He had no trouble answering all of my questions. I would have no problem calling Lifeline again

If you need something done and need it fairly quickly they are great. I had a Moen kitchen sink faucet installed by Guenther Plumbing in March 2013. It started leaking last Friday, today (Tuesday) it was still not fixed. In a panic I called several plumbers but they could not come until this Thursday or Friday. Their price was $150 to install the fixture that I had purchased. Lifeline Plumbing agreed to come today which was great, they came and the installation went fine. I had a coupon for 20 percent off their services, the price just for labor was $236 after 20 percent off. This is considerably more Than the other 2 I called. Also they will not give you a price over the phone as the others did. All in all it Was worth it to have water in the kitchen today.

Couldn't have gone better - EXCELLENT! MIke is great and does a wonderful job. He cleans the area beautifully too. We can't say enough good things about Lifeline Plumbing. Thanks to Angie's List for telling us about them. We will be using them again for sure.

Went great - now no more noise when the sump pump goes off. Have lived with this noise for a long time and never did anyone suggest changing that valve. What a world of difference.

That went very, very well. He did a very nice job. He gave me a tip on the window well, which is where the water runs into the sump pump. He recommended having the dirt dug out, and putting stones in there, so if water got in there, dirt wasn’t going into the sump pump. It was a very good experience. I didn’t pay him anything more than the big deal.

It went great. Mike the technician took his time and was very patient while trying to evaluate the problems here which I truly appreciated. His knowledge helped figure out a mystery I have been trying to solve for a long time and spent quite a bit of money on other fixes that weren't the problem. I would recommend Lifeline in the future. As a bonus Mike liked my dog!!

They came when they said would and did what they said they would do. We had no problems at all! They were absolutely great!
