Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling

It seemed like it was just a way to get into a person's home and find as many things wrong as they possibly can which was part of the job. They did clean the tank here or the water heater. It seemed to be their main purpose. When I asked for an estimate, they pressure me to do the job. Their prices were outrageous. The guy said that my top faucet needed to be replaced and he would do that for $160 right then and there. I assumed that they did a good job in cleaning the water heater. I will find out eventually. There were two guys who showed up. One of the guys was with me and one of them seemed creepy. He just stood there while the other one gave the prices with me. They were all through my house. They split up. One guy spent from one room to the other. I can hardly keep up. I didn't pay more than the big deal purchase. I wouldn't use them again in the future.

Corey took a look at a problem drain in the laundry room. He explained the best repair method and provided a written quote for the job. Then he took care of a stubborn pipe in the bathroom. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be contacting Lifeline to handle future plumbing projects.

$49 got a technician on site for recommendations on my sump pump. Their advice was sound, and even different than I was expecting, so I considered it quite valuable. Technician was pleasantly low-key on the upsell, no real high pressure sales tactics. But since I was looking to replace my backup pump, I ended up going with a fairly expensive option. I don't mind paying a little more to get reliable service. My one regret is that I did not object to how my well cover no longer closes cleanly. When he added a new backup pipe, it no longer fit through the existing holes in my cover without sliding the cover over, which means it is no longer flush with the edge. For what I paid I would have rather he provide a new cover. But I didn't object at the time. Other than that, it was a good experience.

It didn't get fixed and, he was suppose to return to make it right, and I never heard back from him.

Mike was very nice. My kitchen sink started leaking and Mike came back out and fixed it right away. MIke was professional, knowledgeable, informative and courteous. He always cleaned up after themselves.

He replaced two sump pumps and overcharged by approximately $500.00. He also gave me an estimate for additional work that was twice as high in price as another plumber would have charged.

He did explain that older toilets generally do not have enough flushing power but we are still wasting water by having to flush twice instead of just once. He was very polite and knowledgable and cleaned up before he left. Bu since this was part of the big deal for a good, low price, we did not think it was necessary to require him to return.

Besides for a misunderstanding on the scheduling of the original appt, the service provided was done very well. Mike K. came to our house and spent a few hours explaining our entire plumbing system. We're new home owners and the house came with a water softener. Since we've never owned one before Mike went through the entire water softener process. It was very helpful. He also went through the whole house and listed a few items that he would suggest need to be repaired in the future. There wasn't much pressure to sign a contract for the recommended fixes. The prices seemed a bit high but he gave me plenty of options to choose from if I wanted to fix something sooner than later. Overall the visit went very well and I will definitely call them again if I ever need them.

I am always happy with Lifeline Plumbing and this time was no exception. Arrived on time, did job quickly, very friendly and was available for as long as I needed to discuss other problems and solutions.

Replaced 2 main sump pumps and 2 battery back ups, re-did and fixed the piping going to the pumps and properly sealed the holes. Our experience with Lifeline was nothing but great. Although I found their pricing to be kinda high, I also feel you get what you pay for and the service we received was terrific, all the way around, so I feel it was worth it. Our plumbing technician was Greg and he was awesome. He made us feel confident and secure that the job was going to get done properly and professionally and we wouldn't have to worry anymore. And when it was complete, we had no complaints.

They did a complete inspection of all the plumbing in my home and gave me written quotes for all the places that needed attention. They were very professional and, even with my limited knowledge of plumbing, I could tell that they were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions patiently and quickly. There was no pressure whatsoever to complete any of the work that needed attention but I did have 4 hoses that were plastic replaced with flexible steel hose and replaced a water heater and an out of code saddle valve. I was very please with their work and would not hesitate to call then with any future plumbing needs.

SEEMED TO INTERESTED IN SELLING ME A NEW BACKUP SUMP PUMP SYSTEM.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out really well. We were thinking we might be having an issue and might need a new sump pump and did not know what kind. He came out, answered those questions and was very courteous about it. I think the price was great and they provided very good quality. He was very thorough in the examination and was very knowledgeable. He answered our questions above and beyond.

He removed a section of pipe, and bad valve and replaced the section of pipe with the new valve on it. It cost an additional $300 to fix. I thought he was overpriced. It took him a total of 1/2 hour which included the inspection, work and cleanup.

Replaced very old sump pump with new unit. Also installed 2nd pump that had a battery back.

Lifeline came for the inspection and of course I really was due for a new sump pump. They installed a new sump and back up on the spot. I had a vibration noise and they came out the next day and remedied it. Later the pipe going outside had become disconnected and they came out on a Sunday at no charge to correct that as well. Sam & Eric did a very good job.

Mixed feelings so I've waited to review. Arrived promptly. My concern was with my sump pump and they were very informative. I also asked them to provide a number of other services which they also performed professionally. |I was told that my back up sump pump was not working and he demonstrated it. |My main problem was at the conclusion of the visit where my intention was to have them replace the whole sump pump system. I really feel as if I got the hard sell. I was offered various options for annual service in addition to replacement of the sump pump. I deferred the typical telemarketing question of "How much would you expect to pay for all this?" I also deferred the sales technique of showing you the most expensive option (costing $10,000!), the cheapest, nastiest option, all intended to eventually sell you on the middle-still expensive-option. I just don't enjoy getting the hard sell, I guess. He looked at me cross-eyed when I said I would get a second opinion first. |When I got the second opinion, the back up sump pump was demonstrated to work just fine. |I was happy with the work that was actually performed. The other stuff, not so much.

We continue to use Lifeline Plumbing as we have in the past for all our home plumbing needs and problems. Sam and Eric have been very professional and courteous in helping us and have fixed our problems. They used their thawing equipment to thaw the pipes checking for leaks and exposures to any other problems. We are very pleased with Lifeline Plumbing. They give extra effort to do a professional and quality job in a good time frame. We highly recommend Lifeline Plumbing and thank them for a job well done.

Greg from Lifeline was efficient, courteous, professional and very tidy: tarps on the floor, wiped everything up, shoe covers for the interior, etc.... scoped the entire line to the street with the optical cable camera... also found the external main line access and exposed the covered (by the previous owner) cap for future use... look forward to dealing with them again if ever needed

Very professional and amicable. Patient enough to explain issues like a little rust on the water tank, check my sump pump, all faucets, toilets, and washer hook up. Pretty thorough and gave me detailed estimates and prices for water heater tank (from premium to standard), battery backup for sump pump, and leak on washer hook up.

It was fine. They charged me about $300 altogether, which I thought was a little bit high. They were very nice people and everything, I just thought that the price was a little bit high.

All the water in the kitchen sink was back up. My husband tried to fix it and was unable to do so. I found Lifeline plumbing and they were able to make it out that day. The plumber was really really nice and explained everything very well. He was able to solve the problem and we have had no further issues at all. They could not have been nicer (including the receptionist) and they called us to let us know what time they would arrive. I was very surprised that they would come out on a Saturday. They made sure to keep the floor and surrounding areas clean. They also did a over-view of the entire plumbing system and checked for potential problems. They did not charge extra for the Saturday service call which was very nice!

There was some issues with the scheduling as the job before us kept taking longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. Evan came out, he spent the time going through the process with us and answering all of our questions. I can see why he was delayed initially as he goes above and beyond. He wore shoe covered, which is a major plus for my husband and I. He had also showed us everything that he was talking about and ask that we even follow him to the basement to see the length of the pipe. Nice to have someone who wants you to understand the process. He even drew illustrations when we did not understand things that he was talking about. Their pricing was out of a book so it's not like he was pulling figures out of nowhere as we can see what the price was for the specific service, which we also loved about this company. Evan was awesome and would have the company come back out even though we had the initial hiccup.

Matthew was very professional and helpful as well as very friendly. Highly recommend him and this company. Have used them for previous plumbing issue.

So where the entire insides needed to be replaced they would replace one piece but wanted $120 to replace the flapper. Needless to say I passed on that one. On the other toilet it was loose and he did not tighten it. I knew it was running but did not know why. He replaced the flapper on that one and I assumed that was the problem. After he left it started running again and my son said it may need to be reseated. I brought a handyman in and he just tightened the bolts and it is fine now. All in all I don't think it was worth the money as these were small problems and a handyman would have been able to do the job.
