Sam D'Amato called to apologize for being late because of a weather-related mishap. I was impressed with his professionalims in thinking to do this. Sam and his assistant, Eric, showed a concern for doing high quality work, not just work that was OK.

Replaced an old toilet with a new one which conserves water (1.6gpf). The technician was Corey. He was very experienced and knowledgeable. He made sure none of the connections leaked, and said to call him if leaks developed. He pointed out a slight slope in the floor (the building is 100 years old) which might have been caused by leaks over the years. A positive experience. The provider substituted a Gerber "Maxwell" toilet for the agreed upon Gerber "Viper" at the last minute, saying the quality was the same.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. As I recall the gentleman arrived promptly, was well familiar with my system and what was good and bad with it and areas where it could be improved. He had some good suggestions for us. I did not feel that there were any negative parts to it. I made some additional purchases so I paid above the price of the Big Deal.

Job went great. They were punctual and helped fix my toilet that ran a lot.

I was very pleased with this service. Service tech, Tim arrived within 3 hours of me requesting service. He fixed my issue within 20 minutes, explained to me how to prevent it from happening again. He outlined my options for the future if the problem did reoccur. He did an outstanding job. In addition the price I was charged was extremely reasonable, I really thought the cost would be 3 or 4 times as much. I could not be happier and will use Lifeline Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It came out very well. He did a good job. I ended paying what I would probably have paid if I hadn't purchased the deal. They saw things that were not good and I could not argue because I opted to choose them. I feel like I am put in a situation where I can't say no and I have to use good faith. They were very prompt, very good and very courteous. I may use them in the future to install a humidifier in the whole house.

Great experience from Lifeline Plumbing. I purchased a $49 plumbing inspection from Lifeline Plumbing through an Angie's List special. The entire experience from buying the service on-line to the actual inspection was flawless and painless. Great communication from Lifeline via telephone and email provided confidence before the actual home visit. On the day of the inspection, I received a call from Matthew advising that he was en route and he did show up during the appointment timeframe. Matthew was a true professional from the time he entered the house (with protective booties to keep the carpet clean) until he completed the inspection. This was not a quick once over by any means. Matthew started with the water meter and thoroughly examined every plumbing system/fixture in the house. This included faucets, sinks, showers, bath tubs, hot water heater, sump pump system, the ejector pump and a flushing of the hot water tank. He tested all of the fixtures and even ran amperage tests on the pumps. He also offered suggestions for replacement of fixtures and improvements. Matthew took time to answer all of our questions and provided thorough explanations which included various options. I appreciated Matthew's demeanor since it was informative and he did not try to play the hard sell game. All in all, this inspection was well worth the time and cost to obtain peace of mind. Fortunately, we did not require any immediate work beyond the inspection, but I will use Lifeline for future plumbing and heating issues based on their Angie's List ratings and this home visit experience.

I will be using Lifeline for future plumbing problems. I called Lifeline and they were here next day. I had a clogged sink. I tried my best at cleaning out the p trap and snaking, but did not work. Tim, sat down with me and gave me my best options. The pipes under the sink were installed incorrectly, when we had the kitchen remodeled in 2008. He power rodded out the drain. All is good and I am a happy customer!!! Thank you, Tim!!!!

They were a little later than the large window of time they gave us, but otherwise we were pleased with the service. We have used Lifeline Plumbing before and would use them again.

The clogged shower drain turned out to be an very easy job, just did not have the right tools on hand. The price charged seemed extremely high so discussed later with a service manager. He worked with me and we reached a mutually agreeable price, for which i was very grateful. It is nice to find a company that truly goes out of its way to work with, and take action to keep a customer.

Lifeline plumber explained how the Gerber toilet would not work without major destruction, etc. He replaced the parts inside our old toilet so it would operate properly for less money than the original offer.

Keith our plumber we used in sept and decided to call on again.Because of the severe weather the week before we had to reschedule again.keith showed up at 1000am as expected ans checked both clogs.Both pipes meet up downstairs so he gave us new pipes after doing full core cleaning from kitchen sink down to basement.Did the same with bathtub pipes and both clogs were removed.Keith will come back next week for more work.Hes our new plumber from now on. I am a faithful user of Angie's List and again the service did not disappoint. I hired Lifeline Plumbing based on their A rating and the number of positive reviews, and also since they are a local business. I like to support my local businesses. The communication was excellent. Keith arrived a bit outside the scheduled window but called me to tell me when he would be arriving. I didn't mind because with the extreme cold weather and then the thaw I knew there were other people with flooding and broken pipe emergencies and mine was just an inconvenience. Keith is wonderful. He is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He quoted several options up-front and explained in detail what he was going to do. He answered questions, showed me the source of my problem, routed out the pipe down to the main using 2 different sized routers to ensure he got it all cleaned out, and cleaned up leaving my kitchen better looking than before he arrived. I told him he did a great job not only with his work but as a representative of Lifeline Plumbing. I was very happy since this was my first plumbing issue that required a professional. Because of Angie's List and Lifeline's service my folder of go-to contractors has another member. I'm happy to add Lifeline Plumbing to that list for any future plumbing needs.

It was okay. My battery backup wasn’t working. They didn’t really give me any option to service the current battery backup rather the only option they gave were a number of pretty expensive battery backup replacement options. In the end, I was able to service the battery backup myself for cost of about $150. The least expensive option they offered me was over a $1,000.

They were OK. They were pleasant and nice, but they were way overpriced on the products and the services that they recommended. So we didn't go with them. They just did the overall heating and water flush. That was good. While they were here, we asked them if they could change a showerhead and they said that would be a completely extra cost for a visit. It would be another $150. We then asked him to help us loosen it and he ended up snapping it in half. I think that they responded in a reasonable amount of time.

Went very well. Keith, I believe, was personable and professional. The bathroom was tiny, and had some challenges, but he worked around all the issues. He also replaced an emergency shut off valve, which I suspected, and had to deal with a flange that was too high for the floor. He gave me several options, and given that we need to redo that bathroom in the next several years, we went with the cheapest solution for the flange ($20 in labor vs. $600 for a new flange). We are using them again; they are coming later today to help with our flooded basement. I'll report later on that one.

Lifeline gave us very professional and punctual service. The service technician was pleasant and cleaned up after the service was performed. We would use this provider again.

Having a difficult situation in an older home was not easy. My service guys(Keith and Cory) came up with great solutions to a most unusual situation, I kept my fingers crossed. After a couple of replaced pipes and much more difficulty then they were in store for they came thru while telling me and still smiling that I would have hot water soon. Many of the other companies that I called were not only rude to me but also cancelled on me. When I called Lifeline Plumbing they came, they fixed, they succeeded. On a personal note, Tyler, Cory and Keith who were wonderful ,knew what they were doing as professionals should. Needless to say I am a very happy camper and would HIGHLY recommend Lifeline Plumbing. I had a leak in my shower after the hot water pipe froze. I was expecting a huge to do to replace a split pipe. But Sam and Eric determined that the frozen pipe did not split, and all I had was bad caulking. They were extremely courteous, even with my dogs who bark at strangers. They're on the expensive side, but go out of their way to help you however they can. For example, on the dripping pipe, Sam told me I could repair it myself with a $7 or $8 part, and what to look for at the hardware store.

Lifline was wonderful. Because of the cold weather their office was being flooded with phone calls, but those same weather problems made it necessary for people to work from home. To make sure emergencies were covered we had 3 different people call to make sure someone was scheduled to come out and service us. We really appreciated the effort to make sure no one fell through the cracks. Although the weather was not the cause of our problems, it did make fixing it difficult. The cold weather prevented them from being able to clear the line and as a result they had to come back on Wednesday Janruary 8. This was a situation completely out of their control, but they nevertheless offered for free to run a camera in our pipes when the work was done so we could see what is going on. On Wednesday morning, when the weather warmed, Lifeline was here early. They managed to clear some roots that were clogging our sewer pipes (smelled disgusting - these guys are not paid enough), clean up, and were out the door in time for my wife to get to work for an afternoon meeting. I would not hesitate to use Lifeline again, and offer a strong recommendation.

Arrived on time. Very professional. Completed inspection and repaired/corrected relief valve outlet pipe. Cleaned up well. Recommended a new anode rod which I asked him to install. He came back only a day or two later to install; and experience was again professional, and courteous.
