They did a complete evaluation of the plumbing in the entire house and tried to sell their products. They were very professional and on time. One gentleman along with an apprentice came out. Choose provider based on Angie's List review and deal. Would recommend to family and friends.

Our old sump pump was running constantly and was extremely noisy. The installer gave me three levels of quotes for a new pump and backup. He installed and completed the job in a timely and proficient manner. This was during a time in spring when there was much flooding and much activity with sump pumps all over the area. We were very pleased with the work. However, the cost, in retrospect, was way over the top. Admittedly, we did not get any other quotes because we felt that the potential failure of our current system could have been a disaster. So in all honesty, I would not hire them again simply because of the cost. Their work was fine and the pump has run just as was promised.

I believe that the normal cost for the comprehensive plumbing inspection and water heater flush was significantly more than the $49 that I paid (possible around $200 normally, if I recall); however, I purchased the inspection through an Angie's List Special. The specialist was on time, courteous and very professional. He explained all of his findings, answered the many questions that I had about our water heater and gave us quality recommendations regarding his findings from the inspection. The only minor ding that I would give to Lifeline is that it took them a little over a week to contact me to schedule the service. My assumption is that they had a very large number of purchases for this "plumbing inspection/water heater flush special" which may have caused a back log in scheduling. Also, it was a very busy time to be a plumber - between frozen pipes and other assorted hazards associated with winter, scheduling my inspection was probably low on the triage ladder - so the slight delay in getting me scheduled was more than completely understandable. All in all I would highly recommend Lifeline Plumbing to my friends and not hesitate to use them again.

Showed up on time, polite, knew what they were doing, worked with city inspector. Cleaned up after themselves. Would use them again.

I really appreciate that Keith came at short notice. I called at 3 PM and he showed up at 6 PM. HE got to work right away and quoted me $280 for the cartridge replacement (parts and labor) and $80 (parts and labor) for the broken handle replacement. I was initially not entirely convinced that the cartridge was defective and warranted replacement but I will have to trust his judgement on that. He was done with the cartridge replacement in less than half hour but had to make a trip to purchase the replacement handle. He was done by 8 PM. In the end, I had a good working faucet with a better handle and I was more than satisfied with the quality of work. He did offer me the 20% AL discount which did bring the bill down to a reasonable amount.

I called a few plumbing services on Angie?s List to get quotes for a secondary sump pump and battery backup system for peace of mind in case my primary pump fails or there is a power outage. Most places did not work on Sundays (only day I am home) and others wanted to charge me a service fee to come give a quote. Lifeline Plumbing sent one of their technicians Evan on a Sunday and did not charge me a fee for sending someone out. When Evan arrived, he looked at my current set up and tested the primary pump to make sure everything was in working order. He then sat down for over an hour and patiently explained all the options based on what my needs were. He even told me about 20% off coupon for Angie?s List members that I was not aware of. After shopping around a bit more, I decided to go with Lifeline Plumbing because of their fair pricing and non aggressive approach. I never felt pressure to buy anything I didn?t need or want, only what was the best system for my house and my budget. Evan arrived the following Sunday right on time and explained everything that he was going to do before he started the job. He answered all my questions and made me feel confident in the system that he was installing. After everything was installed and checked, he showed me the features of the system and how everything worked. He cleaned up the entire work area and organized the system and wiring so everything was neatly arranged. Lifeline Plumbing is a true 24-7 operation and I am confident that they will be there if anything comes up in the future. The job was well done. A massive amount of work was performed in one day and it was quality work. The clean up afterwords was equally well done and the two plumbers sent out were professional, easy to talk to and clearly outlined, in writing, both the scope of work and the associated cost with each task before starting the job. We knew what the cost of the entire project would be before a tool was taken out of the truck in fact, which is an excellent bushiness practice. While the price was a little high, the quality of the work performed definately outweighed the pricing and was well worth the cost.

We started out a little rough in begging of the job. After I spoke with Tyler (owner) we were able to resolve any dispute in professional manner. Cory and Tim performed the repair and did a nice job. I would use them again.

Provider was scheduled between 9am and noon. By 12:30 I had heard nothing so I called them. They said they were running behind. There was a heavy snow storm that began shortly before noon. At 2pm, I called again. They said the plumber was just finishing up, and I was his next stop. Knowing the snow was going to be an issue, I expected it to take at least another hour....at 4pm the plumber called saying he was just leaving and that the roads were really bad, but that he WAS coming...he arrived just after 6pm. Even if the roads had been fine, he would have been close to 5 hours after the service window...and I would have been stuck in my house waiting. Also, they should have called me during the service window to let me know they were running behind. I called them TWICE! I was not impressed. When I spoke to the office person at 2pm, they blamed it on the snow....I said snow wouldn't have been an issue if they had arrived during the time we had scheduled. I would not use this provider again because I couldn't trust them to arrive when scheduled. The workman was very professional, and did apologize for being late.

All I can say is WOW! Everyone I spoke with (Julie and Mike the Office Manager) was extremely helpful and professional. I saw their listing on Angie's List and inquired about a complete plumbing inspection. Mike was super nice and gave me a price that was unbeatable for the job I needed. During the morning of the appointment, Keith (plumber) gave me a courtesy call and told me he would be at the home I was having inspected in about 5-10 minutes, which was right on time! Keith was very professional and was the type of person you could ask any question to, and he would answer it kindly, without hesitation, which shows me the integrity/honesty he has with his customers. Keith's attitude during the entire inspection was AWESOME, and he was extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Keith even prioritized the work I needed done by telling me the most important jobs I should complete first. He also gave me several estimates on each plumbing issue on the home, so I could choose the best option for my budget. This plumbing inspection couldn't have gone any better. LIFELINE Plumbing is far and beyond what I expected them to be, and because of this I will certainly contact them for my future plumbing needs!!! Keith you ROCK Brother!!!

Sam and his helper arrived right on time. They were very curteous and profesional from the beginning. They went through all the plumbing in the house and graded the condition of each sink and drain, toilette, supply line, hose condition and water heater and sump pump. After the inspection, we sat down and discussed each location and what was OK and what needed watching and what needed to be dealt with. Sam gave me a wriitten estimate of the cost to do each job. The water heater was 18 years old and I already felt that I was on borrowed time with it. We agreed to have the water heater replaced as well as the supply line hose and valves to the clothes washer replaced since he felt that they were about ready to burst.They went out to their supplier right away and got the heater and all the supplies that they needed and the entire job was done within a couple of hours.Sam was very thankful for my business and I felt confident in his analysis of our needs.I will definitely use Sam and Lifeline again.

Did not go well. I have valves on a tub that are difficult to turn. They recommended a complete replacement totaling $1,200, which was too high. Ended up having the same work done by a different plumber for only $440. They offered me a discount based on the big deal I purchased but it was still entirely to high.

They were able to come out on a Saturday to inspect my water heater. They came out the next day to replace it. There were two people here doing the work and it took about 4 hours to complete. I did think the price was a little on the high side. I thought they were nice and knowledgeable and the results were great!

Professional folks - professional installation. A bit high on the cost of the water heater (my opinion), but we have peace of mind after the installation and inspection.

When they came out they were very professional. They were very on time. He was very courteous and very clean. However, he completely missed the problem in my plumbing. He recommended that I change my whole plumbing structure. He started to give me a good quote on it which would be somewhere around $2000. I told him that I would get back to him. About a week later, I spent a couple of nights searching online. I went to the hardware store and solved the problem for a total of $29.99

I will need a follow-up call to resolve this problem.

Based on our recommendation from having used Lifeline Plumbing on several previous occasions, our son called them on a Monday evening because of sewer backup problems he had been unable to resolve on his own with a rental snake. They were unable to send a technician immediately because they were engaged in emergency work at an apartment building that had had a fire, but scheduled a visit for Tuesday morning. Mike arrived promptly at 11:00, as scheduled; I arrived at exactly the same time to provide some on-site support for my daughter-in-law, as my son was working. Mike recognized me from his previous work at our house and even remembered the details of what they'd done. He got right to work running his camera into the sewer line, but found he was unable to run it more than about 35' into the line. He discussed some options with me and my daughter-in-law, then with our son on the phone, and wrote up estimates on 6 or 8 different approaches. My son and his wife decided to proceed with the most comprehensive (thus, most $$$) solution and have the line hydro-jetted with some additional root-killing treatment and supplies for ongoing maintenance. The hydro-jetting equipment was tied up on another job today; Wednesday was not feasible for various reasons, and Mike said that looking at the weather forecast it would be too cold Thursday and Friday. (They didn't want to wait that long in any event.) He called the technician who was using the equipment and arranged for him to come and do the job tonight. Having had similar work done at my second home in Washington, and from my prior experience with Lifeline, the price quotes Mike provided seemed very reasonable. Better still, they gave a SIGNIFICANT discount on the initial service call in return for a donation of canned goods to a community food pantry. Not just good workers, but good neighbors, too! (Service location is in Elburn, Illinois. I seem to be unable to change the service location options provided in the review form.)

Eric came out within an hour of me calling. He was very fair and honest. Didn't try to upsell me on anything and asked if I was an Angie's List member so I could receive the discount. They've installed 2 out of the 3 toilets in our house.

Jordyn C came out and explained the problem and offered temporary plan and long term solution needed he helped calm down my very concerned mother. They agreed on a plan and problem is being addressed. Jordyn also took time to make sure his shoes were covered and did not get anything I house, even though access offered. He consistently went around all the two houses several times. He was very professional. Would recommend him and company.

Appointment scheduling with Lifeline plumbers was top notch, got a call from them to schedule a convenient time for them to come out. Technician arrived on time and did a good job on inspecting all the plumbing fixtures and also, flushing water heater. My kitchen sink was vibrating because of loose in sink garbage disposal and he fixed that issue as well/

I bought a 'deal' for Lifeline Plumbing to inspect an existing sump pump but before I could schedule it, the basement flooded so I called Lifeline to replace the sump pump. I showed them the existing coupon that I had purchased and they would not honor it. I ended up paying over $700 to Lifeline to replace the sump pump.

Lifeline came to our home, assessed our issue, which was unexplained water. It was determined that it was ground water, after years of thinking it was the furnace,(per the nitwits who put the furnace in). So, long story short, they put in a secondary sump pump to take care of the problem. All went well, after all the jack hammering??it was cleaned up & put back. From my first contact with Jamie, to our technician Corey, and the manager Michael, it was a great experience!!! I highly recommend them, and will be using them for all our plumbing, heating, & cooling. So happy to have finally found someone to rely on!!!

I really cannot tolerate predatory companies who exploit a customer because the work may be intimidating (e.g. automotive, electrical, etc.) and this is one of them. Here are a couple of the things that led me to this conclusion. The first thing was a test to see if the 'tech' would to tell me to have something replaced that was a common problem and I knew could be fixed with 3-4 turns of a wrench. Sure enough, replacement at $400+. Second were way overpriced quotes, then a sales pitch for their monthly paid subscription to bring the prices down. Third was the language used to describe some of the work, "Rebuild Toilet tank" as apposed to 'replace' for an old, but functioning toilet, and more... Oh, and of course the 'tech' put a florescent irremovable advertisement on my Water Heater without asking. I saw no honesty here.
