Lifeline installed 1/4 turn valves and now there is no squeaking and they are super easy to shut on and off. He also have installed internal valves so we can shut off during winter. Someone came out the day after I called to give an estimate and after we deicded to use Lifeline, they scheduled a service date only days after we called them back. They arrived on time and were done quickly, leaving no mess. Serviceman was very nice and went over and above - he tightened the toilet seat and cleaned our our powder room drain while he was here at no extra charge. We would definitely use lifeline again!

We needed a lot of work done, from moving a toilet to a leaking shower on the second floor, an outdoor faucet. The Technician that came out I believe was Evan. We went through the things that I needed done, found a few more items that might later cause problems and took care of everything. He literally was here all day, and these were legitimate things that needed to be done, not just things he'd point out looking for extra work. He was very thorough, showing me everything he was doing and why, before he did them. Very satisfied with the work and would use them again. As a matter of fact, I have used them at another house, several times already. A great company to do business with!

Plumber provided a list of sump pump options, high to low, and explained the benefits and costs of each one. We decided immediately on specific pump and he was able to install it within a couple of hours. He also was able is assist my mother-in-law with an urgent plumbing issue right after he completed the work at my house.

Keith Durso from Lifeline Plumbing arrived and was able to diagnose the problem with each faucet and repair them all expeditiously. He is definitely a professional! He really amazed me when he actually took a picture of the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink so that he could put everything back exactly as he found it! Really! I normally hate having repairs made because it is so hard to find good people! I had put off repairing one of the faucets for 2 years...if I would have known it was going to be this easy, I would have fixed it immediately ? I am going to refer them to all my neighbors who are always looking for good people! I myself, will never use any other plumber!

Went to great pains to find a window for scheduling. Agreed upon a two hour window in which to meet. Provider claims to have shown up to the house an hour before the scheduled time and left a note on the door. This did not happen. Family members were home, and say no one came to the door. The doorbell functions properly. There was no note left. Noe one showed up during the agrered upon time.

Member, I am very sorry for the inconvenience to you on Saturday. We did come to your home, we knocked and rang the bell multiple times and there was no answer. We also left many voicemails on your phone before and after we arrived. Later that day, after speaking with you we offered to come out to your home again. Please let me know if there is any way I can help you with the situation. Our number one goal is to help people in need and I am willing to make special arrangements if you still need service. We took advantage of the "Free inspection of water heater!" deal. After giving us many expensive quotes on obscure repairs, an easy fix (replace part in toilet tank) took only a few minutes and cost us $122. I probably could have gone to the hardware store and done the work myself. The provider was fine though and the work he did was good. I would not take advantage of the free inspection in the future though.

Bought the special in February. Kept meaning to schedule because I was having occasional backups that I could easily clear but I knew it was going to get worse soon enough. Never committed to getting it done until yesterday I came home and the backup had risen higher than I have ever seen it and I could not clear it so I needed the service ASAP - exactly the situation I was trying to avoid where the service was no longer something that could be done at my convenience but was now an absolute necessity. Called Lifeline Plumbing to schedule the service and was able to schedule for the next day which was the first pleasant surprise. They were to come out between 1 and 4PM. A little after noon I got a call saying they were coming my direction and would be about 30 minutes which is when they arrived. The Plumber was very knowledgeable and professional. Having observed others in the past rod out this sewer and having done it myself with rental equipment I knew what was involved. Since the price I paid for the Angie's Special was well below market rates for this work I was half anticipating either getting a quickie minimalistic "do the bare necessities" job or getting hit with "Add-Ons" that was going to jack up the price. Neither happened and they went back and forth through the sewer line several times beyond what I would have considered acceptable to be sure that everything was cleaned out as well as possible. There is no question they'll be hearing from me again. They earned me as a repeat customer.

Evan and I went to the 1st fl apt. to look at the wall. Then we went to the 2nd fl. apt. We went in the basement. We looked at the brick in the back and I state that a tuckpointer was coming. He and I went back to the 2nd fl. apt. Evan stated that he could open the bottom of that wall to try to see the leak. There was only a very little water on the floor of the 2nd apt. So we went back to the 1st fl. apt. and decided it would be better to cut the ceiling in this apt. to find the leak. We went to the 2nd. fl. apt for Evan to fix a leaking pipe in under the kitchen sink. When he took the pipes a loose I fould out that grease was in the pipe. He replaced the pipes. Evan suggested that after I had the tuckpointing done then, If I decided, he would come back to do the bigger job. We went to another apt. that had a leaking pipe under the bathroom sink. He stated, that when he came back to do the bigger job, then they would fix the bathroom sink. Evan said, "just call when you're ready and I'll come back and do the job". He was there over an hour. I called back on Thurs., May 8th to make an apointment for Mon., May 12th. between 1 and 4. I had the Real Estate send out notice that it was mandatory that someone be home. I took off work. I had the tenant waiting. I called at about 12:30 on May 8th to confirm. The lady said, "YES" he will be there. At 3:13 p.m. I received a call from Mike. He stated: "Evan will not be coming, because he said that when he was in the guys apartment, he saw a gun on the table. It's my fault that I forgot he told me. Evan also said, that when he was at the gas station near the property, guys came up to him." I was so very upset. I told Mike that Evan and I were in and out of that apartment and he NEVER stated any concerns. The guy that lives there is a Security Guard. I did not notice a gun. I would have raised concerns if I did. I made the apointment on Thur. Today is Mon. They had 3 days to notify me. I truly understand if Evan is not comfortable, but YOU DON'T CALL A CUSTOMER AT 3:13 P.M. TO LET THEM KNOW THIS. Very unprofessional

We had a catastrophic leak from our old water heater and it needed to be replaced. We called and set up the appointment for the next day (only because we weren't able to be home the day it happened.) They gave us a 3-hour window for our appointment and called 30 minutes prior to arrival during that window. Sam was our plumber along with an apprentice whose name I unfortunately forgot. Both were very friendly and courteous. Sam was knowledgeable and seemed very straightforward and honest on the work that needed to be done. We also had him look at some other valves with some rust/lime scale on them to see if he felt they should be replaced. He looked at them and checked and said they did not. This is honesty! So many tradesmen would take that as an opportunity to up-sell on things even if they aren't needed. The work was done quickly, professionally, and they cleaned up well after themselves. They also cleaned up well around the area of the leak and got some of the water we were unable to go to prior to them coming out. Sam explained the operation of our new water heater and made sure all of our questions were answered. While the price quote was originally higher than we expected, Lifeline uses top brand water heaters only and their work is high quality. I would definitely use Lifeline again and recommend them to anyone!

Needed work done immediately. Saw Lifeline's ad on Angies's list and called to verify availability to do the work within 4 days. Purchased Angie's list coupon. Date and time were agreed upon for work to begin. Sam kept constant communication throughout the process. He called each of the two work days to give his eta and always showed up on time. He was courteous and gave a fair estimate of the cost of and the time of the work. The work was done professionally and so far so good on the workmanship. No leaks.
Description of Work: Removed hot & cold copper tube water feeds from the open floor. Installed new ones into the plumbing wall where they belonged. The installation involved some carpentry; cutting drywall, notching 2x4's & drilling floor boards. The new pipes have many elbows that were soldered. New shut off valves were installed. Also repaired copper water line to ice maker.

Called Lifeline Plumbing to come out to fix the leaking pvc pipes going to the well pressure tank. Mike was very courteous and professional in explaining my different options from just fixing the pvc pipes to replacing them with copper pipes and replacing the pressure tank which was over 30 years old and rusting out. He pointed out that the pressure gauge was leaking as well. He gave me multiple options, and I chose to replace the well pressure tank and replace the pvc pipes with copper pipes along with a new pressure gauge and mechanical pressure switch. Mike did an excellent job with the installation, and cleaned up the area afterwards. I was pleased with the work completed, and will use them again.

Excellent! I originally used Lifeline to replace my sump pump about a year ago - that experience was also very good. I decided to call Lifeline a second time to fix an on going toilet/leakage problem. Sam called before he came and arrived on time. He spent a whole afternoon and a good part of the next day fixing and explaining every issue. I mentioned we may be selling in a few years and he pointed out some plumbing not up to code. He did not pressure me to make the repairs, simply gave me an estimate. He did not seem rushed or annoyed when I asked questions or asked him to look at plumbing issues around my home. I highly recommend Lifeline. I will definitely call them with any future plumbing issues that arise.
Description of Work: Removed existing toilet, supplied & installed new toilet - cut out closet collar and repipe with all new pac piping and new flange; Removed & installed new utility sink and faucets; Re-pipe condensation & humidifier drain to floor drain; Remove saddle valve to humidifier (not code) - cut in tee and proper valve; Repipe kitchen sink drain lines (not code) with 2 trap system; Remover and remount disposal;

Very satisfied: Called for an appointment stating it was an emergency and they set up an appointment for only a few hours from call time. Plumber called upon arrival and explained situation. I have some experience doing home repair so was able to ask questions and they answered them and already covered what I suggested. The plumber explained they would have to open up subfloor to find leak. The plumber then went above and beyond to call his supervisor Mike K to get to property with tethered camera to find leak less invasively and SAVE ME MONEY. They found source of leak and repaired it within expected time. Kept me appraised of repair progress and gave me great ideas/estimates. Very, very satisfied.

We had Evan come out for an estimate and he was awesome. I wanted to buy a new dryer but Home Depot would not install it unless shut off valves and pipes were up to date. We had two estimates done and Lifeline was less expensive. Their prices were reasonable and we also felt like the communication and professionalism outshone the other company we called and had used previously. Evan priced out my initial needs and as we were going thru them we discovered many other issues that were missed by our inspector when we bought the house a year before. Our sump pump was running extremely high amps, so we opted to replace that before it failed and our main water shut off valve was no able to be shut off due to extreme corrosion so that needed to updated as well. Evan was fast, honest, and he explained everything to us and taught us so much about our house and how to things worked. Unlike the other guy that came out for the first estimate who pretty much decided he wasn't into doing the work, barely spoke English, missed a ton of out of code items and quoted a crazy amount for the same job. Once the work was completed you could see how much pride Evan took in his work. He took the time to think about the space and where to put things so they wouldn't be eyesores. He also labeled everything for us and showed us how to use them. I will definitely call this company again, if ever I need a plumber. Hopefully, I'm good for awhile.
Description of Work: Updated corroded main water shut off valve, updated additional out of code water and gas shut off valves, installed new Sump Pump, installed new to-code gas pipes for gas dryer and removed all flexible copper tubing that was installed by previous owner long ago. Also installed new faucets on basement utility sink that had corroded themselves locked and had the dryer vent updated to the outside of the house.

When I telephoned Lifeline Plumbing, Mike answered and he got a plumber and his apprentice to my home that same day. First I showed Sam the long standing problem I was having with the flushing mechanism on the Kohler toilet. Previous experienced plumbers could not fix the problem. Sam was able to get it working perfectly in a very short time without tools or replacing any parts! He just put all the parts back together properly. Then, he went down in the basement to inspect the water heater, and Sam explained what needed to be done. The next day, Sam and Erick came to install the new water heater. They did a superb job-focused and careful. I am very satisfied. How wonderful to have hot showers again! and hot water at all times! My son was especially happy! Thank you Lifeline Plumbing, and Sam our plumber; you do what you say you will do!.

The work itself went well. However, I wasn't thrilled about the fine print of the Deal. Replacing a faucet or garbage disposal is much easier than installing a new unit, and I needed the latter. I specifically selected the Deal because I needed a new unit, but they said this was outside the scope of the Deal. I also wasn't thrilled about the upcharge. Again, the work went well and they helped with a separate issue they found but I just wish the Deal would have been more clear.
