Lifeline Plumbing Heating & Cooling

First of all I called this morning and they scheduled me for the same day. I was expecting to wait a few days but the lady said "I can add you in today". When the plumber arrived, he was extremely patient and explained everything before getting started. Mike Kuchta is definitely a great asset to this company. He is personable and very knowledgeable. I appreciated him even taking time to speak with my husband by phone about our plumbing concerns and the work being performed. What a blessing I called them. I will definitely use this company again when I have plumbing issues. Thanks again Mike Kuchta for handling the business so well.

Sam and JD arrived at the designated time frame. They called to say they would arrive in 45 minutes and they did exactly that. They gave me all the information and my options quickly and precisely. Once I made my decision they both got to work and completed it fast. Sam explained some of the featured for the disposal and explained proper way of using a garbage disposal since many of us do it incorrectly. Both Sam and JD were professional, courteous, and clean with their work. Will use Lifeline Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Sam was fantastic. Professional, patient, hard-working, punctual, good communicator, fair. He had an apprentice with him, DJ, who was an eager worker and willing to do the dirty work in a very small space to replace the system. They took the time needed to make the repairs and did a great job following up. Highly recommend.

Great. The gentleman was professional, respectful, prompt and incredibly informative. He appeared to be honest as well. He actually told me I did not need a new sump pump yet, and that I probably had 1-2 years left. Amazing!!!!

Keith was the man and I likened him to a very upbeat, happy, version of the Mr. Clean man (he used the product during the job, and referenced himself to the resemblance of their haircut). Upon showing up to my house, he had a very chipper attitude and I could tell he enjoyed his job. He shook my hand upon entering my house, and slipped on his shoe covers to protect my house from his potentially dirty shoes. I explained my issue and he took a look at all of the areas I'd described, and from all accessible angles. After viewing the leaky pipe in the wall in my kitchen (that lead to my basement) he offered up three varying levels of services that could be rendered. We chose the middle option which included him fixing a leaky faucet in my upstairs bathroom. After agreeing to the service Kieth quickly went to his, super-duper-plumbing-cruiser (that's what I'm calling it) and brought back 3 lengths of white cloth and one blanket. He placed the cloth from my front door all the way to the work site and unfolded his blanket on the floor in front of where the work was to be performed. I'm a nice guy so I offered him a glass of water and some country music to listen to (I've learned that a happy person does a better job, so I just made him more comfortable and happy). It is worth noting that I have two animals in which he responded very nicely as well. It took about 3 hours from start to finish to complete the job. I would definitely invite Kieth, and if the rest of the Lifeline Plumbing team is as great as him them as well, back into my house any time.

It was very expensive, the sump pump job. They ended up replacing the ejector pump, which was a charge of about $1100. They did a good job.

I wasn’t overly impressed. He basically came out, looked at the pump, and then just quoted us some higher prices to replace the pump. We ended up getting it replaced by someone else for much less.

They determined the pump was broken. Checked the battery which was also not working. They provided options for repair.

We called Lifeline around noon and got a really pleasant woman on the phone who gave us an appt for the same day from 4-7pm. Jaryd showed up a little after 4, he checked for the clog, gave my husband the details and we had him do the work. He was here approximately 2 hours (it was pretty bad) and was very pleasant and professional. We now have a kitchen sink that does not clog and the cost was not bad, we thought it would be a lot worse. Would definitely recommend them :)

Worked with Jaryd who was very knowledgeable and professional. He immediately understood my concerns and was able to work through my questions and make solid recommendations. The service went fine. They did end up charging us additional to install a sink fixture. They were only here for about an hour for the service. The technician was very courteous, wore booties and was great at explaining everything to us. I had no issues with scheduling and he even came out on Sunday.

I figured we'd be in the $300-$500 range, but each of their complete systems were in the thousands. The pumps alone started at $600. I'm all about quality, but I didn't have $4k to plunk down. They noted the original pump looked like it hardly ran over the last 11 years, so they attempted to get it to run buy adding water to the sump pit. The water didn't trigger the switch, but the drainage around the slab appeared reasonably good, which is why the original pump rarely, if ever, ran. I opted to just replace the pump. With the Angie's List discount, my total bill was $620. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I'm pleased with the outcome. The techs, Sam and Daniel were very professional, punctual, and very tidy as they went about their work. They added a quiet check valve, resealed the sump pit to facilitate the radon pump, and cleaned up the area extremely well.

Lifeline was professional, courteous, they gave us all the options and there was no pressures to go with a certain product. Not only that, one of the bosses came out this week to make sure we were satisfied and double checked the work.I was impressed that they came out to Tinley Park when they are located in Elgin. Great job!

The issue : He said we needed to replace the hot water heater because of a pipe that was leaking near it. HOWEVER, it was just the pipe that needed replacement. Another plumber came to our house and replaced the pipe. Instead of spending almost $2,000...we spent $100 :)

Service provider was out of my service area and was going to charge extra to travel to me. Also, I realized I did not need the big deal I purchased after I purchased it, so I did not end up using it.

Technician was very thorough and detailed all of our options, including options to upgrade our primary pump since it was a sub-average unit for our size home.

We worked with Cory and he did everything he said at the time and price that he said he would do it. He also showed respect for us and our property. Good experience. Just wish we hadn't needed to have a plumber.

I received the recommendation to call LifeLine after I called Perfection Restoration about a leak in our laundry room. I was able to have someone come out within the week. Jaryd came out, took a look at the situation and did a very extensive test on what could be causing the leak. I'm sure my cleaning ladies turning the tub water off on him continually was not fun, but he did finally figure out what he thought the problem was and wrote out the quote to have it fixed. Jaryd was very polite and explained everything to myself and my husband. I was able to schedule an appointment for the repair very quickly. On the day of the repair I received a call from Mike letting me know he was leaving his office and would be to my house within the hour. Mike was extremely polite, professional and courteous. He informed me every step of the process and fixed the problem. He also fixed a small handle problem on the tub he noticed too. Thank you Mike. When I asked Mike about additional services, he told me about the whole home inspection available with the membership. The inspection was something we were looking to have done so the membership was a great idea. Overall, the entire experience with LifeLine Plumbing was outstanding. I do not have one thing to complain about and will recommend them to anyone who asks. I look forward to our inspection next month. Thank you.

After several inches of rain, our basement, which had no water-removal system in place, began seeping water through the cement block walls. Once it was under control, I used Angie's List and found Lifeline Plumbing. I was amazed when the gentleman who answered my call informed me that someone would be out to our home in under 2 hours! Then later, upon completing an inspection, Corey Mosoff provided us with options and advice on how to proceed. This was on a Thursday, and by Saturday he was back at our home installing a sump pump system. Due to weather forecasts of rain continuing into the following week, he and his co-worker remained on the job until past 9:00 PM (beginning around 8:30 AM) to insure that all issues were addressed, rather than finishing earlier and returning the following Tuesday to complete the job. Our family was so relieved and thankful! We would definitely use Lifeline Plumbing again.

Keith is very patient and explains things in details. I feel he is very honest and trustful! Would hire them again for the future work!
