Mike called me to confirm 20-25 minutes prior to arriving. He showed up on-time, well dressed, and very communicative. I presented him with the faucet to be installed, and noted we had another leak from the day before. He checked out the "other" leak, and noted that the sink drain basket was rotted. He clearly let us know that the $99 special only covered what could be finished within that time. We decided to see how the faucet install went and then to assess the cost of the drain repair. I left to buy a replacement basket at Home Depot, and returned to find the faucet was rusted severely, and Mike had to use chemicals to try and cut through the rust. After breaking a tool, Mike was finally able to drill out the faucet, and installed a touchless Delta faucet we had already purchased, planning to try to install it ourselves. It worked beautifully. With only 15 minutes left after the faucet ordeal, we had Mike remove and re-install the new sink drain basket. He also checked on a possible leak from the dishwasher hose connections, but found none. The sink drain and hose check was just under 30 more minutes, for which he charged us $50 additional labor. For a total of $149, we have peace of mind on a repair that we could not do ourselves, due to physical limitations. Mike was a pleasure to know, and we will look to call on him in the future, and be happy to recommend him. Jamie, with Lifeline's scheduling was also quite pleasant.

This bathroom toilet had been running for several months. I had a handyman in to fix it but as soon as he left it started to run again. I thought it was something serious and I called plumber. He arrived and showed me that the tank replacement installed by the handy man was bad. He fixed it in no time. I have a coupon for $200 worth of services. He instead charged me for the call and I still have coupon for future plumbing work. I would use this plumber again even without the coupon.

called on a Saturday and they were very nice and had someone come out right away. I really appreciated that! They rodded out the pipes that day, but because there wasn't enough time for the full job, we had to schedule the full work for the following Tuesday. I can understand that because it was a fairly big job. However, he was over an hour late and when he arrived he didn't have the correct equipment so he had to leave and get it. He seemed flustered and not confident in the work that he did perform and changed his mind on the course of action multiple times. He also left a huge mess both times he was there. As soon as he left, there were leaks under the sink so he had to come back again to tighten the pipes. The next day, I noticed that he had cut three holes through the kitchen wall into our stairwell wall! We called and Lifeline was extremely nice and responsive and had someone come out and patch/paint the wall. However, a couple weeks later, the water started backing up into the dishwasher again. This time the company sent someone else (Mike) right away. He was fantastic. Extremely nice and professional. On time, clean and accurate in his work. He ended up performing the work the first guy had promised to do, finally.

Professionalism and superb customer services still exists with this Company!!! Had a drain clog yesterday and called Lifeline due to the high number of positive reviews. Very pleasant lady took my info and gave me a time frame for the service professional to arrive. Shortly before that time expired I hadn't heard from them so I called and since it was evening it went to an on-call person. They had no record of my call and didn't have a free time till the next afternoon. The gentleman was very polite, but I was extremely disappointed that someone had dropped the ball and I said - no thanks - I'll get someone else. I wasn't a happy camper. A few minutes later Tyler, the owner, called me. He was gracious and professional and apologized for the mix up and offered to send someone out yet that night. It was getting well into the evening so we agreed on early this morning. Promptly this morning Eric came to my rescue. It turned out to be a simple check that was needed as the clog had moved on, but Eric said he was under strict orders not to take payment from me - and I had told the owner that I would happily pay - not trying to get something free and respect the need for a business to have revenue! Eric would not even take a payment for the service call and Tyler - if you read this - I am still happy to pay!!!! The upshot of my story is that this Company stood 100% behind the appointment that had somehow gotten lost and did absolutely everything they could to make it right. They will have all my related business from now on and I have just emailed their contact info to every friend and relative in their service area. I didn't think this level of service still existed, but I am happy to say it does with Lifeline and DO NOT HESITATE to use them! Thank you Tyler and Eric....and send me that bill :-)

Tyler (the owner) was punctual and very professional. He spent a good amount of time investigating so he could correctly diagnose the problem. Then he took even more time communicating the problem to me, presenting my options and answering ALL of my questions. After he was finished installing the sump pumps, he showed me the new backup display and explained how the alarm system worked. The price that I paid for the sump pump seemed reasonable, but I didn't have time to research the backup system, so I don't know if that was a good price (If not, I will be changing my review). Based on today's experience, Tyler seemed like a knowledgeable, honest, hardworking professional and I would definitely hire Tyler again for my plumbing projects.:)

Joel was very professional, knew exactly what was wrong and how to repair the problem and was definitely not out to make money by replacing items that did not need replacing. Highly unusual by todays standards! He cleaned up after himself leaving the place exactly as it was when he arrived. Checked to make sure that everything worked properly and that there were no new leaks. He also took the time to go through the entire condo and make sure that all of the other faucets and shut-offs were working properly. I would definitely use this company again and especially request Joel if possible. Besides knowing his job he is also very personable and willing to share his knowledge of plumbing with you if you had other questions for him.
Description of Work: I am remodeling a 1/2 bath and had asked Lifeline Plumbing to come out and give me an estimate on what it would cost to replace the old galvanized plumbing with newer copper plumbing.. It appeared to me that most of the pipe fittings were seeping water at the joints where they met and also all of the shut-offs were extremely difficult to turn off. Joel from Lifeline arrived promptly at the scheduled time and immediately assessed the situation. He assured me that that fittings were not leaking, told me that the galvanized pipe was in great shape and did not need replacing and quickly replaced the old shut-offs with new ball valve shut-offs.

Joel came out and apprised the situation and gave a quote for work we needed done. We were charged a reasonable price for the visit and while here, he actually did a few maintenance things for my water heater, which were included in the price for the call. We decided to have him come back and do the work we had him estimate and he and Keith did a magnificent job on everything. I have found my new plumbers.

Sam D'Amato and D.J. (last name unknown) came to do an estimate a few hours after I called. Even though the estimate that was given, right away, was higher than the one from another company, I knew that they were a reputable company (Angie' List Award winner) and willing to fix it right away, so I hired them. They started the job immediately. They worked beyond regular hours, working into the evening. They came back the next morning because they had to let cement dry overnight. They did a great job. They cleaned up the areas well before leaving. They were professional and friendly.

Because the battery for my backup sump pump failed, I got some water in my basement. Lifeline Plumbing responded very quickly to my call. Keith called before he came and was very polite, friendly and professional. He did an analysis and gave me estimates of the work necessary to fix the immediate problem (i.e., replace the battery), as well as the cost of getting a new sump pump and backup system, both of which are old and will need to be replaced soon. He gave me several different possible solutions, answered all my questions, and was very clear and easy to understand. I chose to have only the minimum amount of work done and to wait on the additional repairs because of the cost involved. Everyone I talked with at the company was very easy to deal with. I especially appreciated Keith's knowledge, honesty, and very pleasant demeanor.

They were very good. They acted very professional. They were here right on time. They were very patient and took care of everything very nicely; told me what was going on. They actually were talking like I knew a little something about what they were doing. They gave me a little credit for being intelligent. Price was very, very good. I hadn’t had any problems with my drain since, so as far as I can tell the quality is very good. They actually showed me the camera pictures going out to the drain, which was nice, so I could see what’s going on down there. And they gave me advice for the future on how to maintain it. And they talked about a type of treatment that they ran through it and that they suggest that I run through every couple of years and I may not have the problem that I had ever again. So, it was very educational.

I had been struggling for many weeks to find someone who was responsive, and who could provide a solution to a flooding problem at an affordable price. Lifeline called me back right away and came out right away to assess the problem. Corey knew exactly what was wrong and explained everything to me so it made sense. He gave me a written estimate that was fair and told me exactly how the job would proceed. He completed the work work within two days and did exactly what he said he would do. I appreciated the reliability and professionalism and would definitely use this company again.

He had to take the toilet off, it had recently been installed by a home goods store. He found it was unsteady which could have caused the leak. There were no obvious issues otherwise, so it could be in the pipes. So far so good though. He also checked our sump pump. He recommended a new one, which were pricey. He was very thorough in his explanations. It is something will we get this fall.

I was looking for a plumber to have a water line installed from my Kitchen sink to my fridge. I saw decent reviews for Lifeline Plumbing on Angie's List and saw the Big Deal coupon and thought I would give them a try. A plumber from Lifeline came to my house the morning of Tuesday, July 15th. After inspecting my kitchen he wrote me an estimate for $1,800 to attach a water line to the cold water pipe in the kitchen sink and run it through 7 cabinets to get to the fridge. While I'm not an expert in plumbing I knew that this quote was way too high. I responded and said that the quote was much higher than expected and that I would hold off for now. The plumber said that they would give me a 20% discount and quoted me $1,620 for the job. The problem with that is that it is only a 10% discount. 20% discount would have been $1,440. I said no thank you and the plumber left me with the estimate. The one positive out of the experience was that the plumber did not charge me the $30 inspection fee. After the plumber left I spoke with a friend who recommended a local plumber. The local plumber was able to provide me a quote over the phone and the quote was between $100 and $150. This was what I originally expected the cost to be and was 10 times cheaper than Lifeline plumbing but I did not want to make any conclusions until the local plumber came and completed the job. The local plumber came within 24 hours and was able to complete the job in less than an hour and was also able to clean out my kitchen faucet and improve the water pressure. The plumber charged me $125 and I ended up giving him a 20% tip and paying $150 for his integrity, craftsmanship, and honesty. In conclusion I would not recommend Lifeline plumbing to anyone. I could understand if the quote came in at a couple hundred dollars more than what it ended up costing me. However, inflating a quote by 10 times the amount of what it should have cost is completely unacceptable. It is a complete lack of respect to the customer and shows no integrity whatsoever. Please save yourself the time and frustration and avoid Lifeline plumbing. I would like to think that the plumber did not want to do the job and was the reason they inflated the quote by 10 times. Unfortunately I do not think that is the case and would never do business with Lifeline plumbing.
