Fabulous! Lifeline responded quickly to my service request, and Tim was at my house one day later. He was professional and courteous, and completed the work quickly. We are planning to remodel both our bathrooms next year, and I will definitely call on Lifeline for an estimate.

Sam and D.J. did an excellent job explaining the ins and outs of what they were going to do, which is important to me since I'm managing an entire IKEA-based kitchen remodel. I asked questions and got answers without any signs of impatience. I got some options regarding how to proceed from here regarding cabinet installation, as well. The quoting process was swift, thorough and straight out of the book. Work was done quickly and the area left clean. Best of all, it looks great. The resulting pipework looks orderly, and there are valves where it makes sense, and where they need to be. Lower-cost options for the refrigerator were recommended. In general our experience went as well as I could have hoped.

Sam D'Amato of Lifeline Plumbing was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his communication. His follow through from the moment the appointment was schedule until showing up promptly at the time he promised was the best from a service provider I have ever seen. He went above and beyond, when he cleaned all the old dirt and debris out of the sump pump before installing the new back up battery. Finally, he was clean and left his work area impeccable. I have now found our plumbers for life! We contacted Lifeline Plumbing after purchasing their $400 for $500 worth of services coupon on Angie's List. We had been putting off a few minor plumbing projects until we collected enough to make it worthwhile for a service call, and then our sump pump began to run continuously on dry days. We found Lifeline and made a call and they were able to get us scheduled right away. We had two guys come out on two separate times: Keith -- who did a majority of the repairs around the house on the first visit -- and Eric -- who replaced the sump pump on the 2nd visit. Keith was such a wonderful Godsend that we had requested him to come back the second time, but he was unavailable. But Eric was just as fantastic! I will say that their prices aren't cheap, but we certainly got what we paid for. Incredible quality, knowledge, and attention to detail, as well as two of the nicest guys who have ever come to our house. Jenny, who handled all of our scheduling, couldn't have been nicer either. Service and quality go a loooooong way (especially with plumbers), and just know that you will get exceptional work if you call these guys to help you out.

When I called up to schedule the appointment, they were so nice and while I felt stupid for having a toothbrush down the toilet, they were so understanding and said they have seen far worse! They worked to get me on the schedule as soon as possible. I agreed that coming the next day was fine as it was late in the day already. He said they could come out in the afternoon but was not sure of an exact time. Mike Kuchta, was our serviceman and he called me at 11:00 am to say he was here to help me out! I was thrilled since I figured it would be much later in the day. Mike was so incredibly friendly, courteous and was really sweet to my 4yr old daughter who asked him a lot of questions about what he was doing. He assessed my needs and got the toothbrush out in a jiffy. I was so pleased. I would definitely recommend Lifeline and Mike! Thanks again! They never contacted me so I went with another company.

We found our gas water heater leaking and soaking the subfloor on a Saturday afternoon. Lifeline returned our call promptly and said they would send a technician. Eric called quickly and showed up within an hour. He looked at the heater, quoted a price, and had all of the parts on hand to start work right away. He pointed out Angie's List discounts that were available. He noted that an aging gas valve would be easier to replace along with the water heater install, but there was no pressure to add this work. He explained what he was doing, was mindful of pets in the house when working with gas, and was considerate of our time and convenience. He answered all of our questions about this project and other plumbing related questions, kept the work site clean, and was all-around pleasant to work with.

A little high on the price side, but did a good job and was the only company that was able to come out the same day, which I needed as our old faucet stopped functioning. They also have a 12 month guarantee on the work.

December 30, 2015: I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours even during the holidays. Dan arrived right on time, called ahead, explained everything so that I could understand it and showed me how to prevent future clogs and jams. He was very professional and pleasant. I thought the price was very reasonable. I already have referred Lifeline Plumbing to friends, I have been very happy with their service and cost, it gives me a lots of peace of mind finally having such a great plumbing service, thank you!

The entire process went very well. I needed some additional parts to complete the job and they provided the parts at a very affordable price. The job site was cleaned up upon completion of the work and Life Line will be my Plummer of choice from this point forward. I am starting to see a pattern form among the service providers that I chose to do repeat business with. In my opinion, the best service providers are those who take the business aspect as seriously as the actual service they provide. Too many service providers try to do a 'one man show' and don't have office support so phone calls aren't returned promptly, if at all. Office staffs also monitor the progress of their technicians progress and call the customer when the tech is running late. I expected to get a good Plummer, I was very pleased to get an equally qualified support staff.

The whole thing just felt way too salesy. I had someone come out to look at my sump pump. Turns out, it's bad and needs to be replaced. The service technician immediately put his sales hat on and started going through his very well prepared sales presentation. Starting with the most expensive option and working his way down to the "more budget friendly" prices. I asked him midway what the price was for a particular item, and he gave me a "oh, we'll get to pricing" response. Nonsense. When I ask you a question, answer it. The guy was professional, and just doing his job, so I don't fault him at all... I just was expecting a service tech to come out and talk to me. Not have a preplanned sales presentation. Long story short, their prices are WAY out of line compared with other options. I had someone from a different company out later that day and had a new system put in for a fraction of the cost. And, the other company clearly wasn't interested in selling me the biggest and best... which is, in part, why they earned my business, not Lifeline.

A previous plumber was unable to clear the line and told us that the (in-ground) pipe had to be replaced. I tried to get them to provide an estimate but they decided they were too busy to do the job. One estimate I did get was over $3500. I contacted Lifeline and was able to make an appointment for an 8 AM visit. Unfortunately the technician, Sam, did not receive notice of my location, over an hour from Elgin, until that morning, so he arrived quite a bit later than expected, but at least he called while en route. After I explained the situation to him, he asked me what kind of rodding equipment the other guy used. He said the had a bigger, stronger, more powerful rodder that could probably get through the line. He figured there was a 60-70% chance that he could clear the line and that the pipe did not need to be replaced. So I took the chance with the $250 job. He got the water draining within about a minute of rodding, whereas the previous guy was at it for about two hours.Based on the good flow in the line, lack of mud in the line, and the rodder not catching on the pipe, he concluded that the pipe was not cracked and did not need immediate replacement. The cost of $250 (after an Angie's List discount) is not peanuts, but it looks like calling Lifellne Plumbiing saved us thousands.

Eric flushed the 2 water heaters and checked sump pump,ejector pump. He also made sure the washer&dryer was connected properly. He checked for the toilet leaks and made sure our showers and faucets were working good.Eric was very professional in explaining everything that I asked for.He also gave us quotes for the issues that we had. He spent more than 75 minutes and made sure everything is working well. We will hire him in the future. This was a good deal.

The tech notified me that he was coming soon. when he got there, he immediately put on booties for his shoes. He listened to my concerns and gave meaningful advisers. He was professional, intelligent and sympathetic. He was super nice and genuinely wanted to do the work. I thought he was awesome! It was easy to make an appointment and they were able to give me an appointment right away. I will definitely call them again.

Very satisfied. They did some pliumbing work for us previously so when we found out they now do a/c too I had them come right over because house was quite warm. Showed up at time promised and had a/c up and running relatively quickly after identifying the problem. Always very professional!

Mike from lifeline was great! He was here promptly and got to work strait away. He was quick and efficient diagnosed the problem and gave me a range of options to try to solve. He solved the problem perfectly. I will be using lifeline again!

Corey the technician was very friendly and helpful. He took the time needed to complete the job well; he didn't rush through the service call. He suggested a whole house water inspection service at a discount which I accepted. He cleaned up after himself and took the old parts to recycle. He was on time.

I think it went okay. What I find less helpful as an Angie's List member is when somebody makes a review soon after a service is done. You don't really know how well the service is done unless you let the time pass. In case of some pump, the fact that they are polite and friendly is nice. The fact that it runs for two years reliably and doesn't cause a problem is more important. So, I can say that after almost two years now that they did a good job with the install and I have not had to worry. There was a full back up system, some pump system with the install. It was done well. It worked well. I'm happy with them.

I purchased a Big deal for a new toilet that they offered. Everything went fine. Keith installed the new toilet pretty fast and spend a long time discussing with me a project I had in mind. He was very professional and personable. The new toilet seems to work fine, although it is a base model. Time will tell how good it is.

The Lifeline Plumbing representative was Eric who was punctual, professional, very friendly and did a great job of explaining the problems with our garbage disposal and sinks. He also offered recommendations for ways to reduce future problems. I would use them again and will be considering them for our next project of getting a back up sump pump.

Great work, no mess, showed up on time. - there was a $40 adder for oval toilet.

I tried replacing the shower faucet kit and when I took off the handle my cartridge broke. I had to shut off the the main water line from my house and I was stressed. I went on Angies list and noticed that lifeline plumbing had really good reviews so I called them. Their customer service was great and told me that someone would call me back. I received a call within 10 minutes to let me know that a technician was working on an emergency and he should be there within 4 hrs. Sure enough I received a call within 3 hrs and it was the technician saying he was on his way. Eric was the technician and he was very good and very knowlegable. He got everything back working within 2 hrs. He's a life saver. I would definitely use lifeline plumbing again and will refer them to anyone with plumbing issues. Great work. They were very friendly and called to tell me they would be showing up around the scheduled time. Very clean and professional. They walked me through every step of what they were doing and made suggestions on how to keep things clean and basic maintenance. Our water heater is about 20 years old so they offered to give me a quote for a new one. They were not pushy at all and there was no sales tactics. Would definitely use them again.
