The technician was very thorough in teaching us how the sump pump worked and explained why we needed to consider a new pump. Our home we purchased is 13 years old and the pump needs to be replaced. He also walked us around the house and checked our other plumbing to see that everything was satisfactory. I was very happy with his information and he seemed to do so much more than the home inspection man we had hired to inspect the house (before we joined Angie's List). Overall, Lifeline Plumbing did a great job for us and we intend to use them to replace our sump in the near future.

I found my water boiler pressure was a little bit higher. Someone came to my home and said I need to reset my tank. He helped me to reseted my tanks, at the beginning the pressure was normal, but then it went to higher and maintained at a higher level. They charged my another $49 for the tank reset, I said I have paid $55 online already, they said it was the service call fee. They didn't explain to me when I purchased this. I am totally confused. Looks like it was unhappy shopping experience.

Keith is excellent. He came out the last time so I asked for him specifically this time. He makes sure everything is done right so that you dont have problems later. He always gives multiple options in his estimates so you can choose how much work you want done.

I have used Lifeline at least half a dozen times since this summer when I had a completely backed up sewer drain late in the evening on a Sunday. I called a very large company that I see trucks for all the time in my neighborhood and they said they couldn't get there that night, or even promise me a first AM appointment the next day. I had sewage in my basement from a completely backed up pipe! Obviously waiting wasn't going to work. Angies List to the rescue! Lifeline was very highly rated, I called them, and of course they were busy as well with all available service techs already out on emergency calls. However, within two hours the service manager himself (Mike) showed up at my door after driving to the office to pickup a truck, got me taken care of for the night, and then returned with another guy during business hours with the water jet to completely clean out my sewer. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed with all aspects of that initial service appointment. I've since used them for a bunch of minor things that I never got around to taking care of before because I trust them, they are always on time, they do the job right (I've never once had to call them to let them know about an issue after the appointment), and the prices seem somewhat cheaper than what some other plumbers charge. I even had a routine appointment scheduled for one of those minor projects a couple months ago, and even though there was a torrential downpour the night before and they undoubtedly got inundated by people looking for plumbers to repair pumps and whatnot, they still kept the previously scheduled routine appointment and showed up right on time. Very impressive! This particular appointment was a simple replacement of a toilet (plus a couple other things as always). Everything was done quicker than I expected, and I was very pleased as always. I've never had a single problem dealing with Lifeline. You can't go wrong here. I'll keep calling them back!

One of the techs actually came in on his day off to make the repairs. It took longer than either of us expected, but he stayed late into the evening to make sure the job was completed properly.

I wanted them to do the work when the city turned on the water. However, the city needed to install a new meter. Our schedules could not align, so I couldn't use the deal.

Once again, top-tier work. Got the deal, scheduled promptly, and the service call went wonderful as always.

We bought a coupon through Angie's List for a replacement toilet. Lifeline contacted us right away but had to delay the installation a few weeks because they were out of stock on the toilet we selected. I thought it was odd that there were no questions from them on what color, what shape, whether we wanted ADA height, or how far away it was from the wall. But I figured they knew what they were doing so we booked it. When they arrived onsite to install it, they brought a round toilet when we had actually wanted an elongated one. I thought I mentioned this to them on the phone but perhaps not. So they took the round one back and due to weather had to cancel the next few trips that were planned to install the elongated toilet. Then they had stock issues again so we had to wait for a shipment from Gerber to arrive. All in all it was about four months from coupon purchase to installation. Their installer was great and did a fantastic job. The toilet is amazing... so much better than the "builder special" that came with the house. You could probably flush a cantaloupe down this thing if you wanted to! In summary, despite the communication problem (which I probably was partially culpable) and the supply issues, I liked the service that Lifeline provided and I will call them again.

I purchased a Big Deal with him for $200 worth of plumbing services. I only wanted to have a faucet installed, when he came in he quoted me $415 for the project which seemed too high considering that the deal clearly stated it was good for faucet repair or installation.

My plumber Keith Durso did an outstanding job. He give me different options and the benefits of each one. When I chose the option he told me what he was going to do and walk me through each step. He was very professional. I highly recommend him and his company's service.

I sent an email to Lifeline Plumbing and received a cheerful phone call from Jamie within minutes. Scheduled a technician call 4 days out. We were not having an emergency. Initial visit would cost $29.95. Very fair cost. Told to expect a call from plumber and arrival time would be between 1 and 4pm. Keith called shortly before 1pm and arrived promptly when promised. He was SO friendly and professional!!! He looked at both of our plumbing problems and wrote up separate quotes per our request. The bathroom faucet replacement looks terrific! The kitchen sink issue was a bit more troubling. Keith was not giving up until he got it repaired!!! He used his rodding machine repeatedly until sludge moved and our drain runs better than ever. The filtered water tank is no longer at risk of backup. Then Keith wiped up the floor and made it shine! He can come visit anytime! Seriously, the cost was a bit more than we would have liked, but the service was excellent. The work is guaranteed in writing. We fully understand how this company has such a excellent rating on Angie's List. We would highly recommend this company and this plumber was extraordinary.

The scheduling was very easy and I used their online scheduling system. The company followed up with a phone call to discuss and finalize the appointment. Mike D. was the service man that arrived. He arrived in a clean uniform and was very polite and professional. It was a cold and rainy day and had to navigate to the sump pump by inching his way through our outside access crawl space. He reported that our system was fully functioning, however that it was nearing the end of its useful life. He provided us with different options to consider in replacing the sump pump and adding a battery back up system if we wanted. He was courteous and polite at all times. It was also very evident that he really knew his trade. He NEVER tried to pressure us into buying. Our experience with Mike D from Lifeline Plumbing was an extremely positive one. We will definitely have Lifeline do the work. In my opinion you could not find a better company. Mike D in conversation added how much he enjoys working at Lifeline. That really shows in his knowledge and enthusiasm. Thank you Angies List for this company.

Sam came out on time and did a great job. Because I had a blockage that was causing my basement to flood whenever I did laundry, Sam determined that the line was blocked up. He gave me several options on how he could clear it up and I went with the traditional method and added RootX just to hope that the tree roots won't come right back to block the line. He had it done within an hour and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Crew arrived on time when promised. Very professional the entire time. Hot water had never worked in the upstairs bathroom since we moved in. I unsuccessfully tried to repair myself twice before. They quickly assessed the problem and performed the work. I would recommend them to others and use them again for my plumbing needs.

We were satisfied with their communication, but their price list was excessive from what we have seen from their competitors and therefore, have asked for a refund to go in another direction.

This company was GREAT. We had water in our basement on Halloween. It was after hours and called Lifeline as our regular plumber never answers the phone after 5 and we weren't sure if this was an emergency or something that could wait. An answering service picked up the phone - hooray, a person! Explained the situation and but wasn't sure of the ramifications and asked if someone could call me back the next day (it was Halloween after all). They called the same day!! (Very nice of them!!) The gentleman I spoke with verified what a family member had told me that it was not an urgent issue but they'd be happy to schedule me as quickly as they could. He asked to forward the information to the office (which I thought was really cool and very helpful). The office called the next day early, which I also appreciated. They had room on Sunday (at regular rates - also a HUGE plus) but we like to give people a day off so we scheduled the work for the regular work week. We ended up having to replace the ejector pump and Tim was great. They come with a fully stocked truck and were able to give my husband several choices and options and did the work right then and there. Tim was kind, courteous and professional and did a great job. We could not be happier with them and they are our new "If you need a plumber, we have a great company to use" referral!! We love them!!

Had an 8 o'clock app't; office called at 8:35 and said they were on the way; would be there in about 30 minutes; arrived at 9:25 a.m. I showed the plumber what needed fixed, and an item I would like quoted. He went to his truck, came back in 10 minutes, with a quote for each item to be fixed: $162 to adjust each toilet, $1,300 to replace faucet over laundry tub. I almost fainted. Told the plumber that I had purchased 2 hours of plumbing labor thru Angie's List, and would pay him for replacement parts for inside of the toilet tank. He said he didn't know anything about that, never heard of it. Went to his truck, came back 10 min. later, said office confirmed the purchase. He then spent about 7 minutes on each toilet; showed me some 1/2 pieces of black foam he said were inside the one toilet tank (that was why it was losing water and self-flushing; said the other toilet tank had a hose that wasn't attached inside the tank which is why the water level was low. Then he wrote up a bill for $99 and asked for payment. I said I had already paid Angie's list for the services, and that Angie's list had paid them. He left. Two hours later, the one toilet flushed itself and refilled and the water level in the other toilet was down 2". I called him and asked him to come back. He said it was a windy day and that affected toilets because of the wind blowing into the vent pipes. He said to wait and see who the toilets were on a calm day.

Excellent service, fast and appropriately priced! The tech was super friendly and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. We've actually miscommunicated about one aspect and when I pointed out that I understood that one aspect would turn out differently the tech went out of his way to re-do that portion even though the job was finished and it was still done within the original estimate.
