Everything went alright. We had an issue with our battery and we thought they had fixed it but it’s acting up again. Scheduling was fine and they were responsive.

It was pretty good. 9.30 to 9.33, and they gave me an estimate. I just haven’t had a chance to work it out with them, but I’m definitely going to use them once the money becomes available.

He was very professional and clean. He did the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I did think it was a little expensive but I was happy with the job.

Very responsive, did the work the same day and met my request to upgrade the unit installed.

I liked the fact that they told me what the fireplace needed, told me how long I could/should wait and what could be done.

Removed old and replaced with new parts. Sink now working like a charm. Liked the Lifeline so well, I signed up for their furnace clean and check. They performed that so promptly and so well, I also have scheduled service for my central air for this Spring!

The were polite, neat friendly and helpful. The provided an estimate and explained several different options for addressing my plumbing concern. They complete the work the same day and I was very happy.

Day 1, Evan came out and explained how he would do everything he could not to cut into our ceiling below the leak. He found small leaks in both the shower head attachment and the handle valve. He went out for the parts (they were very specific to this older shower set-up) and was able to make the repairs without cutting into the shower tiles. He tested by running water for awhile and no leak. Unfortunately, just as he was preparing to go, we heard dripping again. He then had to cut into the ceiling and found that there was another leak around the terrazzo shower tub's drain that wasn't visible from above. Because it was terrazzo, and it looked like it may have been installed improperly, he wanted to send out another plumber with experience with this problem so we set up another appt. Evan was very communicative, and let me know everything, including pricing, from start to finish. This portion of job was about $800 Day 2, Sam came out with an assistant. He immediately discovered the source of the problem--a badly installed shower drain. He had all the items needed on his truck and was able to do this part of the job for $315. We also asked for toilet repair (rebuild of the tank system), a clean-out of our outside sewer line and a new metal cap to replace a broken plastic one. That made up the remainder of the cost. Sam explained everything from start to finish, including pricing, and he and his assistant did everything efficiently. Assistant had to shovel through piles of snow on our lawn to reach the sewer access. Overall very good experience.

There was an additional $600.00 to put in 2 faucet heads.

Ryan gave me a detailed quote in advance and had me answer it before he did service. Service was lined up for the estimate and the complete service almost immediately and they even called on his day off to confirm the appointment that was convenient for me. The entire service was great and though I got the AL discount it was still pricey in comparison to some others but I imagine you get what you pay for!

Scheduling was very easy. The technician was nice and took the time to explain everything he was doing and all the details. It was a nice piece of mind to know that they were ready to do the work right then and there. Everything still works well.

They were courteous and polite. They were very prompt. There were one to two people here doing the work. They were a bit pricey but they did a good job.

The team was responsive and punctual along with knowledgeable. Be careful with this best deal, it turns into an expensive sales presentation.

It was great - he arrived and did a very thorough eval of my plumbing system, including the water heater, water softener, pipes, and so on. He also gave estimates on what all the various jobs would cost - I just need to prioritize them now!

I've used Lifeline for many projects and have always been very happy with the results. Don serviced my furnace late in the evening in a brutal blizzard on the coldest day of the year. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Cole installed our disposal and repaired our toilets. Cole was excellent. He talked me through all his work, gave me advice on a number of issues and took the time to explain the issues and perform all the projects just right. Another satisfied customer!

Excellent. speedy service on a Sunday. Work was completed quickly about two hours after the initial call for help. Tim and Tim were knowledgeable and quoted options. they are now our plumber of choice.

It went very well. Cole arrived on time, looking very neat and professional, introduced himself, covered his shoes (which I appreciate), and entered...ready to look at my pump situation, which has been a big worry for me. He looked at the set-up and kept me informed verbally about what he was thinking. After spending 15 minutes or so assessing, he wrote out a list of 4 "options/recommendations," including the cost of each option. He went over the information with me, making sure I was clear on each option and price. Cole also wrote out a statement of what he did for me, including the information that a new electrical outlet is needed before properly installing the battery back-up. The electrician who does this work will know exactly why & where to put the outlet by reading Cole's statement Additonally, I asked Cole for his advice on my upstairs toilet,, which has a "flush-mate" tank apparatus. I was planning to use the "trouble-shooting" suggestions for fixing the sluggishness of that toilet, but was somewhat concerned about safety. Cole, too, thought safety was an issue, since the flush-mate is pressurized. He indicated that Lifeline could do the necessary work, whether it was a "fix" or a new toilet...but said I might want to call the Flush-mate company first to see what they say about it; perhaps there is a recall on the flush cartridge. Good advice, I thought.

Just like any other homeowner, the words "digging" and "sewer" never go over very well, but I'd have to say, these guys made it right and took it to the next level in regards to customer service. We contacted Lifeline with the initial response of power rodding due to a utility sink back-up. The onsite tech provided full detail and explained all costs associated with each service they offer. The techs stayed long into Friday afternoon to address all my concerns. Long story short is we had a significant back-up and they had to return on Saturday to dig. They understood this was a family residence and didn't hesitate to act quickly. The blockage was repaired swiftly and within a reasonable cost. (cost unreported) The reason I write the review, which I hardly ever do, is that these guys truly went beyond the expectations of customer service. I had initially believed on Friday afternoon that the true cause of digging into the front yard was caused by their mishap. "The Boss" arrived Saturday afternoon once the line was exposed and fully coordinated all repair efforts with his crew to ensure that I was satisfied. It turns out that I was mistaken, but it took the "the boss" to engage his team to go the extra mile to prove it to me. The fact that they took this extra effort (stayed into the night on Saturday) to show me what was going on and prove it and still fix it!, with all my agitation and combativeness, shows me that Lifeline Plumbing truly knows how to treat their customers. I was no happy camper believe me. Not one sign of distress or desertion of their goal being absolute customer service. Simply put, their number is now stored in my phone, and it'll be my first call if I ever have an issue like this again. I have rental property throughout the Chicagoland area, and I plan on calling these guys everytime. Well done Lifeline, truly appreciate the dedication to customer service.

I like that they were prompt and that he talked with it until he solved the problem but for a while he was recommending a very expensive solution that it turned out he didn't have to do. He kept on pushing that and I said I wasn't going to spend that much of money to correct the problem so eventually we were able to come up with a different solution. He get the job done and I haven't had a problem since so I can't really complain about that.

Purchased because dishwasher needs to be re-installed. Plumber stated that do not do that kind of work.

The service went well. I paid an additional fee to have them do some extra plumbing work. One technician came out and completed the job in a couple hours. They did a satisfactory work and a thorough job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I was expecting that I would be advised on salvaging the existing system. I was not asking for an estimate and it actually felt like getting a paid estimate for a backup pump. The existing system is a Basement Watchdog Big Dog Backup System. Its a not entirely bad. I don't know if the service provider was right or wrong, just that this deal - $49 for inspection... is a waste. Also, the quote for a replacement was $2000 to $3000 for one backup sump pump system of 1/2 hp. That's just ridiculously high!

Corey came out and was on time, professional and very friendly. I had two new faucets in boxes ready to install and asked him if he could re-caulk undermount sink. he checked everything out discovered that the one faucet was defective and had loose part and advised me not to have him install it since it would not perform as expected and he didn't feel comfortable installing inferior product- he showed me and explained. Then the second faucet I choose was way too tall: LOL my mistake. He looked at undermount sink and explained that normally you would lift sink out and clean up but since the sink had clamps that are not accessible due to how it was installed inside cabinet this was not an option; Although I was dissappointed he had to come back once I got the correct faucet- I felt very comfortable with his assessment of the situation. He asked if there was anything else we were thinking of having done and he offered to look at a gas line connection; we went downstairs and he explained how it would be done, provided a rough estimate but then we discovered that my downdraft range was a slide in model thermadoor and would need assistance from a gas range dealer; which made sense too since removing stove to get to gas lines was necessary due to the type of model I had; He came back 3-4 days later and completed installation of both faucets and they look and operate great. At any rate would I definately have him out again, very satisfied. Would definately reccomend them.

Mike, the service representative, was great! He was so informative, kind and respectful. We had other contractors at my house working and they commented on how Mike was a good service man as well. Mike walked us through all the issues, answered all our uestions and gave us different levels of pricing available. Once we decided what we wanted to do (we replaced our backup battery and backup pump), he had the parts in his van and was able to replace everything that day. He was so kind and said we did not need to rush into a decision and that they would come out at any time that was convenient for us in the future. Being a member of Angie's List really paid off, as they provide a discount on the service as well. We would for sure use Lifeline Plumbing again and would recommend them.
