I've had grandbabies and my husband was just in the hospital. Each time I use somebody, I get flowers that are nowhere near what they are supposed to be. Apparently they don't check out these local florists very well. I had ordered a really nice bouquet with a teddy bear and balloons. The teddy bear and balloons were okay but the flowers were completely off from what I had ordered. I tried to send them a picture and there wasn't even a way to send them a picture so they could see the difference. They offered to have that same florist come and exchange the flowers. This was 2 or 3 days later from then anyway, so I was like no. They gave me a 5% discount, which was only like $5.

Fail...They did not deliver the flowers prior to my wife leaving work at approximately 4:30 PM. I called them to get status to be placed on hold while the lady attempted to contact the driver to get the details. Since my wife was well into the rush hour I told her to cancel it. This is where FTD began to attempt to get you to not ask for a refund, but rather take store credit. I immediately stopped that part of the conversation and demanded a refund to which the lady said "for non-delivery". I replied that's correct and she paused as if to delay and I said "Just the refund, I do not want to be upset with you" and she said "I wouldn't want to do that". I was nothing but direct and professional in my dealing, but they attempted to curtail the dealing in their favor after clearly not delivering services. I will never do business with them other than get my refund within the next 5 to 7 business days. I recommend that anyone whom has a time sensitive delivery on a non-holiday or any other occassion utilyze other services such as 1800Flowers; whatever the case steer clear of FTD.com
Description of Work: Scheduled the provider to deliver flowers to my wife's work on our anniversary.

I had no difficulty navigating and using the FTD website to place my order. Because I was on their email list for reminders, I received a 10% discount for my purchase. In addition, by joining their "Gold Membership" for $40, I avoided the delivery charges. This is a good deal if you send flowers several times a year. All-in all, I have been very pleased with FTD online service.
Description of Work: I ordered two flower arrangements to be delivered for birthdays. I used the FTD website.

Not too well. I paid for their premium flower arrangement and when my wife got it, it was the basic arrangement. I have tried more than 10 times trying to reach FTD.com for someone to call or even email me stating that what we got wasn't the premium. I've tried to call a dozen times or so but could never get in touch with a human. This place is horrible. I will never use these people again.

It was terrible. When I went to the funeral and saw the flowers I couldn't believe it. It was a skimpy bouquet of about 15 flowers, not what you would spend over $70 for! I would pay maybe $10 for what I saw. I was embarrassed, to say the least. This was a good friend of mine who had died and I wanted to show how much I cared. It appeared I cared very little. The flowers themselves weren't things like roses...maybe a daisy or carnation or two. Maybe one rose. What they sent looked nothing like the on-line photo. I called FTD about it and they volunteered to write the funeral home a note of apology. Then they said they would send me a $20 gift certificate, which I have yet to see. But I thought about it. Would I even order from them again? I don't think so. They didn't offer to refund my money, but really, nothing could erase the experience.
Description of Work: They delivered flowers to a funeral home in Marietta. I ordered them by calling toll-free number and getting the "medium" bouquet, which looked beautiful in the on-line photo.

Did not go well at all. On February 12, 2014 I placed an order with FTD.COM at about 8:3am EST for a Valentine's Day delivery on February 14th. FTD.COM contracted with D Garden Floratique of Serville, TN to make the delivery. I did not know the name of this florist until the February 16th delivery, 2-days after the scheduled delivery. Incidentally, D Garden Floratique has an "F" rating with the Knowville Better Business Bureau. When the flowers had not arrived by 8pm EST on Valentine's day I called FTD.COM and was advised there may a 30-minute hold time. After 45-minutes I hung up the telephone. I sent two e-mail messages to FTD.COM on Valentine's Day evening requesting they cancel delivery and refund my credit card with the purchase amount. The two e-mail messages are still unanswered. Two days later on Sunday morning of February 16th (two days after the scheduled delivery) I sent two more e-mail messages to FTD.COM requesting they stop delivery and refund my purchase to my credit card. I attempted to contact FTD.COM before sending these two e-mail messages but when I called FTD.COM the first thing you hear is a message stating "in consideration of your time go to FTD.COM and send an e-mail using our customer service link" Ha. About 5:45pm EST I discovered the (wilting) flowers on my front stoop with the D Garden Floratique card attached. This delivery was made with no contact to me whatsoever, no phone call, no note, nothing. The follwoing morning, February 17th I returned the flowers to D Garden Floratique at about 9:45am EST. When I entered the premises I asked the woman how she was doing and she replied, better if my employees would show up. I then asked if she was the manager or owner and she responded, no. I find it interesting she made the statement of "her employees" but denied being a Manager or Owner. I told the woman I made this flower order on February 12th for Valentine's Day delivery on February 14th and it was not delivered until February 16th. That this is unacceptable and I placed the flowers and unopened card on a nearby table. The woman told me I had to take up my issue with FTD.COM because she was directed to proceed with order even if late. Later in the day, 1:10pm EST I tried the FTD.COM telephone number again and finally got through to a service representative. The Representative spoke with broken English and frankly I don't feel she could comprehend the English language either. The Representative placed me on hold while she (allegedly read my e-mails) then came back on the line to tell me the florist made several delivery attempts. I informed the Representative that I was home all day of the scheduled delivery on Valentine's Day and nobody made any delivery attempts here nor did anyone call our home telephone number. The Representative put me on hold again while she (allegedly) called the florist. The Representative came back on the line to inform me the best she could do is give me a $10 coupon for a future order. I said no thanks, and informed her that there will never be another order through FTD.COM by me. I told the Representative this is unacceptable and I will dispute the charge with my credit card company and said good-bye. It is a shame to have to be put through this but I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Now I have to ask the question; if you placed an order for your spouse, significant otehr, friend or sweetheart for Valentine's Day delivery and it showed up two days later without so much as a response to five e-mails of inquiry or a telephone call from anyone, would this be acceptable to you?

Today, 3/14/13, I go online and see that my order is still pending deliver. I called their customer service and after about a 10 minute hold, I get a refund and an apology, which was nice but I think they could have done better. I think that my wife should still receive flowers at their expense. I will not use FTD again.
Description of Work: I ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day for my wife on 2/8/13. On 2/14/13 a little past midnight, I get an email saying the flower delivery would be a day late. The flowers did not arrive on 2/15 either and I get another email on 2/16 saying they were delayed another day. On 2/18, I emailed the customer service and cancel the order. Received and email acknowledging the request, but no refund.

Description of Work: Interaction #1: I scheduled a delivery for valentines that did not occur. I had to ask my wife several times to be sure they did not arrive and then I called ftd. They agreed that their records showed no delivery as well but it strikes me as odd that I had to be the proactive one. Then came the refund request. They offered me a voucher good until noon the following day for the balance. I continued to ask for a refund and then they offered a voucher extension to midnight of the following day. I continued to ask for a full refund and was promised such. Now I see my credit card statement shows that they did not credit me my groupon but did put many back on my card. I'm still out 20$. Eva, my customer service rep promised, but did not deliver my full refund. Poor experience 2: I ordered flowers for a friend's parent's funeral a few years ago and the flowers never showed up. I called several times but they never showed. I was still charged. I will not recommend ftd to anyone.

Ordered the flowers for a family member living in my hometown at noon the day before Valentine's Day to be delivered the same day, which the site indicated was not a problem for the area florist. Nothing showed up. On 2/14, used the site TWICE to get an update on the delivery and did not receive a response; after learning that the flowers had still not arrived the evening of 2/14, used the site on 2/15 requesting another update with no response. Called the 800 number and learned there was a 30 minute wait. Now I was angry so I stayed on the line for 39 minutes before being connected to a customer service representative. She advised that the local florist did not a)carry tulips and b)did not carry the vase shown on the website (which is a standard FTD arrangement). Could not explain why I was not contacted - I provided an e-mail address and mobile number when ordering the arrangement. The florist is Washburn Flowers and I will be providing a review for them as well. This is the third issue I have had with FTD and will never, never, never use them again for anything. The service is horrible and apparently so are the florists affiliated with FTD.

Yesterday was my mom's birthday. Nothing is too much for mom. I liked that they delivered the flowers. I ordered flowers, they delivered them and mom was happy. The price was okay. My mom is in California and they got the flowers there on time.

My daughter was naturally upset upon finding out that the flowers she sent for Mother's Day not only did not arrive on time but in fact did not arrive at all. The fact that the representative from FTD was not only professional but pleasant made a favorable impression on her. I felt better as she was no longer upset and I received a lovely bouquet.
Description of Work: My daughter ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day on-line from FTD. The flowers were not delivered on time so she contacted FTD who told her they would be delivered the next day. Again, there were no flowers. She contacted the Better Business Bureau and explained her problem requesting a refund. FTD contacted her and refunded her money while offering to deliver a floral arrangement to me at no cost to her. I received a bouquet of roses with a vase to put them in, instructions on how to care of the roses, a card apologizing for the problem and a gift certificate for $15 to be used on another order. I feel that the florist who neglected to perform his or her duty to FTD was at fault however, FTD took responsibility for the problem and dealt with it in an exemplary manner. They should be recognized for high praise in old fashioned customer service.

I called to order flowers. They quoted me a price of $56.66. Then today on my daughters birthday, they called us and told us they needed $12.00 for them deliver them. They claimed that the whole salers needed more money in order to deliver the flowers. He threatened to cancel the entire order if we didn't pay the extra money. The first person I talked to was named Sherri and the second person was Joe.

The flowers came not looking much at all like the picture and description. I spoke wiht FTD who said they would have to send a message to the florist -not sure when they would do so and have the florist pick them up. I in turn spoke to the florist who said - the vase as pictured was not available and it is hard to create the display for $30! So you see--although ftd offers a discount--it does not mean you will receive what you are expecting. I will never order from FTD again
Description of Work: I ordered flowers from the FTD site as there was a particular arrangement that caught my eye. I was a bit hesitant as I know I can get quality from Kirkwood florist, Leshers or Dierbergs. I even started to close the order page on FTD -but received an alert from them offering $10 off the order.

At 5:45pm, the day of my friend's birthday, I received an email that the flowers were not deliverable. I had to call FTD (no one called either of us asking for clarification of directions) they said the florist couldn't find the address. I asked why no one called either of us for clarification and she said, "don't know". When I expressed my frustration that a birthday present had not been delivered the response I received was "Uh, huh" and silence. Since there was no point in having birthday flowers delivered the next day I asked that the order be canceled. She promised the charge would be immediately removed from my account. I also filled out a complaint online and received a message that I would be contacted within 24 hours. This was 4 days ago and the charge is still on my account and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I know mistakes occur, not all florists they hire out may be as competent as others but what really bothers me is FTD.com's lack of customer service. I had to request the actions (that have yet to occur) to resolve the problem. No solutions were given by FTD and worse, an apology for non-delivery of a special birthday gift was never offered.
Description of Work: Ordered flowers for a birthday the day before. Included contact information (phone numbers for me and the recipient) in case location was difficult to find. On the website, office deliveries are guaranteed by 5pm. I immediately received a confirmation email that flowers would be delivered the next day.

The flowers were not delivered in time for the funeral and when they arrived (late) they were not like the picture I ordered online and were poor in quality. I spent 30 minutes on the phone waiting to speak with someone initially and then I emailed the company asking them to fulfill their satisfaction guarantee. It's a week later and I have not heard back from them.
Description of Work: I ordered flowers online for an out-of-town funeral I was attending. I ordered them two full days before the funeral with specific instructions about where and when they should be delivered.

RECENTLY, I HAD A FLOWER ARRANGEMENT DELIVERED TO A FAMILY MEMBER OUT OF TOWN. THE ARRANGEMENT WAS DELIVERED ON TIME, HOWEVER, THE FLOWERS WERE NOT IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. I CALLED AND THEY OFFERED REDELIVERY. SINCE IT WAS PAST THE OCCASION AND THE FAMILY MEMBER WAS NO LONGER AT THAT LOCATION, WE HAD THEM DELIVERED TO OUR HOME. I MUST SAY I WAS SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED IN THE SIZE OF THE ARRANGEMENT - IT DID COME WITH A GENERIC VASE BUT I COULD HAVE PURCHASED THE SAME FLOWERS FOR $7.99 AT THE GROCERY STORE. OVERALL, THEY ARE A NICE OPTION. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH AND THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY WHEN THE FIRST ARRANGEMENT DIDN'T WORK OUT AND DIDN'T CHARGE ANYTHING FOR REDELIVERY - BECAUSE OF THAT I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. HOWEVER, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET.
