I ordered a "thank you" arrangement at ftd.com on Tuesday 11/19. Was assured that it would delivered to the recipient by close of business. I didn't hear anything from the recipient on Weds, so I called her at the end of the day and spoiled the surprise by asking how the flowers looked. Nothing happened after 24 hours. Called FTD on Thursday and was told that the contract florist failed to perform the contracted duty. Was assured that the flowers would be delivered by the end of the day Thurs. Called the receipient on Thurs. night. Still no flowers. On Friday night, I called FTD and complained that the flowers were not delivered, now on the second promise date. They assured me that they'd deliver a larger arrangement for my trouble (and 15% discount) and have it there by the end of the day on Saturday. The customer service rep was completely apathetic. In the meantime, the ftd.com website sent me a customer satisfaction survey. It's now Saturday. I've called the recipient , now a third time, to ask if the flowers arrived and still "no". (This is getting really awkward now. I've lost the whole surprise of the gesture and its effect). I wasted yet another 20 minutes on the phone calling FTD (third time). Was told that the florist did not deliver the flowers again. No explanation could be given or assurance. I was offered another floral upgrade (no remuneration this time), and another promise that the flowers would arrive, now on Monday. The recipient won't be at work at this point. The message has totally been lost. Three broken promises, no offer to refund my money, and now I'm headed for a fourth disappointment. I gave my honest opinion on the survey, was objective with all the customer service encounters, and ftd.com has failed to provide any level of decency or respect for this client.

They did it all on time and they got it there. The friend sisters said that the flowers were beautiful so overall they were pretty good. It was a big bouquet, the closest thing that they could find with red and white flowers to go with the Ohio State theme. Again they were having a Mother’s Day sale and it was Mother’s Day/ Easter and my mother got a basket with little butterflies on them in three different colors with three different flowers for $30.
Description of Work: I bought a bouquet of flowers from FTD Florists for friends and I also send some flowers for my mother.
