Richard's electrician carpenter hardly spoke any English, yet despite this potential difficulty, the team was excellent in communication between us and themselves. I believe that this was mostly due to their shared concern for doing a good job. Great attention to detail, a great appreciation for conservation of pre-existing materials (old planking in the attic), careful attention to detail (baseboard in kitchen), and very adept at anticipating problems (from kooky ideas on our part), and resolving unanticipated difficulties.

Everything went well and as expected in relation to the sidewalk work, fence work, gutter and installation work, and stair, railing work. The stucco work was done very well, in a professional manner. The one draw back with the stucco was when we thought he was going to come to do the work and he didn't show up for a few days. When he did come, the job was a good one. The workers were pleasant, hard working, and kept the work environment clean. Richard was always prompt, and kept us very well informed every step of the way. We have used this company before and will do so again.

They were excellent. They were neat and the final outcome of the work was great. The quality of their work is very good.

Changes in the weather were the only factors that made a difference in getting the work done. Otherwise, everything was done according to plan and as we wished. They were very good workers. Richard was on hand to supervise on a daily basis. They never left us to attend to another job.

Richard can do anything it seems, from major construction (a house for a friend) to major deck repair and plumbing repair (for us). We feel we can depend on him for general maintenance - great overall knowledge of how things work.

Overall it was excellent. Richard provided the materials, gave me choices on the faucets and the work was done steadily and quickly.Richard is open to exploring different options and give his clients good information and choices.

Richard is very responsive and prompt with all calls and inquiries. The estimate he gives is extremely detailed and clear. He never promises anything he can't deliver, and is honest and clear about what the project will entail. He oversees the job on a daily basis and always asks how things are going; he asks if there are any complaints or changes that need to be made. The workers are very professional. They are meticulous craftsmen who take great pride in the finished product. They are polite, extremely pleasant, and clean up after themselves at the end of each day's work. They work at the job until it is completed, never leaving to attend to someone else's needs while you wait for completion of the project. I have great respect for this company and will not hesitate to call again when I have the need.

Fantastic. A friend referred Richard, and we have been totally satisfied with his General contractor work and the work of his carpenter electrician. Their quality is excellent, and their price is very reasonable. What also impressed me is that Richard will have his opinions on how to do things, and we will have ours. He will push for us to see things his way, but he will only push a couple of times. In other words, he will be sure to express the way he sees things, AND he is a very good listener, and will let the owner have the final say. That said, there were many times when I had and idea or understanding of how I wanted things done, and Richard and his carpenter were (thankfully) very good about explaining why (for safety, esthetics, or practicality) my idea may not be such a great way to go. I'm a guy with a couple of years of carpentry experience, so between my ego/experience being challenged and seeing how thoughtful and practical these guys are, I was very happy with the whole experience of them working on and improving our house.

We went with another contractor, but only because of timing.

Richard gives excellent service. His estimates are reasonable; he is prompt and always does what he says. He is honest and very dependable. We rely on him for many jobs. It seems he can do anything you ask of him!

I am very satisfied with Wysocki construction. From the large jobs to the small. Today They are moving a small cabinet from one place to another and painting it. These jobs are charged on an hourly basis. I am putting French doors into what was an archway which will necessitate tearing down some of the wall and framing a new rectangle to take the doors. They are very careful painters and careful to cover everything. I find them fair in pricing and they show up when they say they will. When they put the windows in in 2009 they insulated them carefully with the result that very little cold air gets into the room.

I could not ask for a better experience. I've been wanting to re-side my house for several years. I waited until a tax refund made it possible. Since the cost of this type of job is a lot (to us) we wanted to find someone we trusted. We've worked with Richard and his staff on several projects and knew we could rely on them completely. The project began and ended sooner than anticipated--which was a true delight. Will continue to hire this contractor for any jobs needed--large or small, as they do it all! I needed additional, smaller projects completed before my deadline and Richard quickly figured out a way to schedule these projects so that all the work that needed to be done was done with 1 week to spare!!

It was an A+ job from start to finish! Mr. Wysocki presented me with an accurate estimate, was very responsive and professional, and always answered my questions. Workers did a fantastic job with hardwood floors as well as the fireplace. Every little detail was professionally finished-no loose ends anywhere!

I called Richard for a quote to paint several rooms and install 350 sq. ft. of solid wood flooring in the living/dining room. His painting price was too high but he had priced the floor installation separately and it was the best offer. I was impressed with HIS attention to detail and responsiveness. A worker removed the carpeting and another subcontractor brought in a third party, for the installation. The installation by an older experienced carpenter, was very good - nice attention to detail while installing, and a younger worker who did the heavy labor of bringing in the boxes of wood and installation, but his work was not as good as older sub's - I had to point out fixes or oversights several times. Overall, the carpentry work was very good - we really like the floor and older sub did a pretty good job on installing the door casing around a banister. What was most upsetting was I had to ask the older sub and his worker to clean up the first night, and direct them to clean my front yard when they finished and were ready to leave. Even after they cleaned up, there were chunks of wood, sawdust, and a box and plastic wrap left in my house and yard. Unfortunately, Richard was not around when they finished, nor was the subcontractor. Richard apologized several times and cleaned up the best he could but I told him he shouldn't have to clean the sub's mess and the sub should have treated my house as if it were his house because I am sure his wife would not have allowed him to leave such a mess each day after working. Again, I liked their work and the pricing was real good, but you have to stay on the workers to clean up properly.

Richard Wysocki Construction, Inc has very professional, ingenious, creative and hardworking contractors that did an excellent job on all counts, including fair and accurate pricing and work completion according to original estimate. They did also work independently, followed directions accurately and realistically described the work process and final outcome. I was especially impressed by the tiling specialists, who did a magnificent and fast job tiling very large tile on an uneven cement slab base and over electric wired floor heat. They also cut the tile beautifully with incredible precision and no waste. Additionally, the carpenters were true pros, delivering professional carpentry with ingenious solutions and attention to detail and request, while still getting the job done quickly and on time. This proves this company's talent in the construction and remodeling business. Our lower level is now totally transformed into a beautiful and functional family room, office and laundry room thanks to Richard Wysocki and his crafty team.
