I wanted you to know about my on-going dissatisfaction with Verlo, if it was not recommeded by your list it certainly should not be. Thanks: I bought a Verlo Mattress on 9/3/2012. Needless to say, they saw us coming. We paid 2,369.00, for what my husband and I thought was the Top of the Line Mattress. We noticed right away when the Mattress was delivered, there was a slight "hump" in the middle of our King mattress. In 3 months, the hump became unbearable and we called the Verlo dealer at 9332 Skokie Blvd and advised him our mattress seemed defective in the middle. At the time of the sale, we were told if there was any problem with the mattress they would open up the mattress and fix it free. They came to pick up the mattress, we went without a bed for about a week, and received a charge of 300.00 to pick up the mattress and bring it back. (Just for Delivery) I was told the mattress was possibly broken while transporting but the problem was fixed. Fast forward 4 years, in 2016 the "hump" is now Huge and Visible. The Mattress is uncomfortable and no matter how many times we flip it the hump does not go away. Maybe still broken? The side has also collapsed on one side of the bed. We are in our 60's; there have been no acrobats done on the bed to warrant collaspe. We checked Consumer Reports in 2012 before we bought this mattress. We saw it was recommended by Angie's list. My husband and I thought we did our homework. 2,000.00 is a lot of money to pay for a mattress that arrived broken and is still broken. I will tell the world about how bad my Verlo mattress is if I do not get any satisfaction. I will be contacting the store in Skokie to see if that 10 year comfort promise and 15 year Guarantee is legitamite. Just wanted to let you know that Reputation, Quality, Material , Service and Savings is NOT our experience with Verlo.

I have had the worst service experience from the Skokie store. I owned a 2 year old Beautyrest mattress that I loved. Due to some medical conditions, I decided it was time to purchase an adjustable foundation which required a new mattress. I researched Verlo on-line and was impressed with their statements guaranteeing customer satisfaction. What the website didn't state was that all Verlo stores in Illinois are franchises. Each store builds the beds to their own specs not those stated on their website. To make matters worse, the bed I purchased after 2 hours in the showroom was not the one I received. I purchased a in March 2016 even though I later discovered from corporate that they are no longer selling this model. The bed I received was built totally different than the floor model and is like sleeping on a wire rack. I am currently sleeping on my sofa because of the pain. I called to work out this issue with Skokie VFS and spoke to the manager. He instructed me to wait 60 days even though I purchased the mattress with a 30 day comfort guarantee. The manager rambled on and let me know I needed to speak to my sales person??? I spoke to my sales person and was told to wait 60 days. I decided to visit the store and discovered the bed deliverd was not the one purchased. I was asked to go home and take a picture of the manufacturing tag and email it back??? I measured the bed and discovered it was only 9 inches deep. The sales person disagreed even though I sent pictures with the tape measured on the ground. My iphone picture was crooked and stated the bed should at least be 11 inches even though the website V7 beds should measure 13.5 inches or greater. I could have taken a better picture but the delivery men installed my new Reverie as a low profile which is not what I requested. The bed is currently the height of a child's bed. To to have this mess all taken care of, I was told I would be charged $116. At this point in time, I am not sure what bed I would received because VFS Skokie had their own specs. My sales person did not seem to understand my urgency and unhappiness with my experience. He told me he felt he was being disrespected but I questioned his answers. It seems to me that I should have received a better response for this debacle especially since I paid $1699 for my mattress and $1299 for the adjustable base. I expect superior service when spending more than $3,000. I called Corporate and relayed my complaint. They stated they would call the store. When asked when they would call me back they stated I probably would not hear from them but this would be forwarded to some one that works with their Franchises. At this point, I am so disgrunteled and Verlo's commitment to service excellence. it seems I should not pay the price a transporting a mattress that was not properly made.

They are good quality products and they hold up. I checked with my chiropractor too, and he was happy with my choice. They give you all the information you need and they also have cut open mattresses where you can see what s going on inside. Then they build it, deliver it, and set it up on the frame for you.

Mattress developed body impressions. The mattress was repaired 3 times during the course of a year. After the last repair we were told that body impressions of 1 to 3'' was normal. Verlo picked up the mattress with the promise of a refund. Verlo told us they would refund half the mattress cost. We reluctantly accepted. When the check arrived after many phone calls and promises that the check was in the mail, we ended up receiving less than half. We are very pleased with our ''Select Comfort'' mattress. It cost more than the Verlo, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
Description of Work: Purchased mattress with assurance that it would not develop body impressions.

THIS IS A MATTRESS FACTORY SHOWROOM (THERE ARE 4 IN THE CHICAGO AREA). THEY DO NOT ADVERTISE, THEIR BUSINESS IS BY WORD OF MOUTH. THEY HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF MATTRESSES FROM "STARTERS" TO HIGH END. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THEM. THEY WILL TAKE THE MATTRESS BACK AND ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF FILLING REPEATEDLY UNTIL THE CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED. THEY WILL ALSO MAKE REPAIRS WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR FREE AND AFTER THIS PERIOD FOR A COST. THE AVERAGE TIME IS 2 DAYS TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO A MATTRESS. TO ME THIS SEEMS EXCELLENT!
Description of Work: THE MATTRESS I LOOKED AT (TOP OF THE LINE) WAS $1225 COMPARED TO $1335 FOR A COMPARABLE MATTRESS FROM ANOTHER STORE. DELIVERY WAS $25? I BELIEVE AND THE TAKE-AWAY CHARGE FOR AN OLD MATTRESS WAS $0. IF I HADN'T ALREADY BOUGHT A MATTRESS I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT FROM THEM.
