My experience with Happ was very positive. They were polite both on the phone and in-person. The movers arrived on-time and were quick yet very careful with my belongings; nothing was damaged during the move. They completed the job ahead of schedule, and because they charge by the hour, my final amount due was less than originally quoted. I recommend trying to use them during the week, as the rate is significantly lower than on the weekend ($30/hour less). I will definitely use Happ in the future for my moving needs!

I emailed Happ Movers; they responded immediately providing me with an estimate of cost to relocate an upright piano. They followed up with me via phone, were very helpful and even under-estimated the cost. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend them to others!

They were very good. On time. They did an excellent job and were careful. They're pretty special. I wouldn't get just any mover to do this.

We needed to have a sofa bed moved from a third floor condo in Skokie to our house in Wilmette. We tried to do it ourselves, but the sofa was too heavy and long to maneuver. Happ arrived right on time and quickly moved the sofa bed. They were very skilled in doing so and did not scratch any wall.

We take care of several properties, and originally asked Happ to meet one of our staff at the Evanston address so that he could be with them when they loaded the piano and handle any problems they may have. When he got there at the appointed time, Happ already had the piano loaded on their truck, no problem at all, and they took it right to Wilmette, unloaded it and also moved an existing piano put of the way for us. They were pleasant, professional and did the whole thing in 2 hours.

I was really worried about finding a responsive mover in a short period of time for such a small move. The woman who scheduled this move was wonderful and very helpful. The movers were right on time (Saturday at 7:00 a.m) and were very efficient and friendly. They gave great suggestions on how to store a few items. I was very pleased and would recommend them highly!

I am very pleased with this company! They arrived on time, were very careful of the antique, upright, player piano to be moved and the surroundings. They moved this piano from a basement in Aurora to a "basement" in Joliet. Not an easy task. There were 4 guys, and they were courteous and very conscientious of the piano and our homes. I recommend these movers and if needed, would use them again.

Movers were on-time and courteous. The item was carefully moved without damage to it or walls/stairs of either residence. The cost was as quoted for a Saturday move the distance required.

Happ Movers was responsive in setting up a time to pick up the piano. They had it quickly disassembled and reassembled at our house. The piano looks and sounds excellent. The price was a little more than I expected based on a relative's use of this company to move her piano.

They told me they'd need three movers for the job, and they charged by the hour, including travel time to and from Glenview, but their rates were competitive with other movers' quotes. They called and let me know when they were on their way, and arrived when they had estimated they would. They took incredible care with the piano and moving, examining it for damage beforehand so they would know whether they had caused any, padding and preparing it carefully, and being extremely cautious about damaging the instrument or furniture or floors. They worked efficiently and installed the piano exactly where I wanted it, fitting it perfectly into a tight space without damaging anything. They took so much care, in fact, that the piano was barely out of tune at the end of the move. In addition, the movers were courteous and friendly. A very good experience.

They were pleasant , professional came in and didnt waste time. I was very happy with the crew they sent. They couldnt get the tv down or up the stairs but showed us why it wouldnt fit and suggested alternatives to look into. I recommend this company highly. will use again. thought they werent overpriced. they were on time as well. The TV took more time than anything else. they took the piano apart and put it back together and moved it several times until we were happy. It took under 4 hours. Added to the travel time.

Happ did a great job. They got the whole thing done with a 3 man crew in 1 hr. 15 minutes despite the basement steps. I was pleased at how low the total price was. I shopped the job around and Happ's $130/hr. was very competitive. The crew negotiated narrow hallways lined with antiques and didn't disturb a single thing. They were very professional and polite. They paid attention to insure they didn't damage our house, it's contents, or the piano.

WE'VE WORKED WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT TEAMS AND THEY ALL WERE EQUALLY GOOD.

THEY MOVED A BABY GRAND PIANO FROM MY FATHER-IN-LAW'S HOUSE TO MY HOUSE, ABOUT 50 MILES AWAY. VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY, GREAT AT KNOWING HOW TO MOVE PIANOS THE RIGHT WAY. HOWEVER, I THOUGHT THEY CHARGED TOO MUCH -- TIME-AND-A-HALF FOR A SATURDAY MOVE, WHICH I'VE NEVER ENCOUNTERED WITH A MOVING COMPANY. IF I USED THEM AGAIN, IT WOULD BE DURING THE WEEK!

THEY SHOWED UP EXACTLY ON TIME AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE CAREFUL WITH ALL MY FURNITURE AND BOXES AND WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. THEY MADE A STRESSFUL SITUATION (MOVING) GO VERY SMOOTHLY.

WHEN I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE THE OFFICE THOUGHT MY MOVE WOULD REQUIRE 2 PEOPLE. ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE 3 MEN WERE ON THE TRUCK WHICH WAS A GOOD THING. THE MOVE WENT VERY SMOOTHLY WITH THE 3 MEN. THE ESTIMATED CHARGE WAS HONORED.

THEY DISPLAYED EXCELLENT TEAM WORKING SKILLS AS MOVERS AND IT IS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. WE COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED! THEY DID GREAT WORK! THEY WERE A GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS!
