It was horrible. First I said don't start the sale on May 1, because it was the anniversary of my Father's death. So what does she do? Starts it on May 1, then plays stupid about not knowing. I also said do not use one of the rooms in the basement as that is where I was storing family members belongings. What happens? She without my permission takes everything down and stuffs it in the closet in that room and continues to use the room for "staging". The pricing was ridiculously high so no wonder not everything sold. Her organization for the leftover items to be donated I can only hope is valid? I caught one of the workers going through a ring box to see what there was. I knew there was nothing of value in there but it was the point to be blatently doing it while you are supposed to be putting the stuff in the truck for donating. I also had items missing from the belongings I had in that room. I was there to see everything just before the sale and the item missing was NOT in with the stuff to be sold so I know it was stolen. Along with alcohol coming up missing on two occasions. One from a bottle I had on the counter with a shot glass on top of it that was to go to one of the family members. It mysteriously disappears but she comes up with the shot glass? Secondly, was the alcohol bottles that were being sold. My husband and I showed up on last day of sale at the end and there was alcohol still there. Funny it was just gone when it came to donation day. Wonder where it went??? also, contract stated that all money and receipts would be received within 5 days after sale I just got the last of everything last week. After I threatened with phone calls and filed a complaint with the BBB. Oh also, anytime I did get a response it was always the husband because she got really crappy with me on the phone when I dared not like what she had to say about the donations. This lady is a piece of work and I wouldn't trust her as far as I can throw her. There is more but I think you get the gist of it all. Run the other way if you see this company!!!!!!!
Description of Work: Well, they were supposed to do an Estate sale for my Father's house. Wish I had joined Angie's list sooner as I would have seen other review and NEVER hired these people.

Wendy, of Tinkerbells estate sale services was unprofessional and dishonest. At first, I thought she was just disorganized because she was late to both her meetings with me. Then she wanted to include some of the small collectible items of our estate in another estate sale at Christmas time, 2011. But, she cancelled because she "ran out of time". In January, she took those collectible items home with her to take pictures to start advertising for our estate sale which was planned for 3/10/12. Two weeks later, she called to change the date to 3/24/12 and said she had the pictures done. When I asked to see them, she made excuses as to why she couldn't just email them to me or send me the link to where they were. Two days later they appeared on her site. When I saw how sloppily our items had been pictured, I realized that she had lied when she said she had done them already. She must have realized she had been caught in a lie and then hurriedly put the pictures on her site, hoping to get them there before I looked. Why else would she have not just directed me to her site when I first asked to see them? It was at this point that I requested the cancellation of the estate sale, which was still 6 weeks in the future. I offered to pay her for the time she had spent thus far. I asked her for an invoice, a copy of the receipts for the items she claimed she'd sold, and the return of the items. We planned a final meeting. A half hour before our meeting time, she demanded I put, in a text on my phone, that I'd pay her $2000 cash or she would not meet with me to return the items. I told her I would pay her after I saw the invoice. She never came over because I wouldn't promise the cash payment. At this point in time, it has been 17 days since I cancelled the sale, and I have still not gotten our family collectibles back. I have retained a lawyer. This has been a fiasco.
Description of Work: Not much. She was late to 2 of the 3 planned meetings and cancelled the third. She was going to include some of our small collectible items in another estate sale that only had large items at Christmas time, but she didn't have time. Then she took many of our collectible items home with her so she could take pictures to start advertising for our upcoming sale. The pictures were hastily and unprofessionally done, so I cancelled the sale. In spite of repeated requests to see an invoice for the work done so far, and receipts of what she said she had sold, I have yet to get any itemized proof of her work. I have also requested the return of the items, but she will not bring them until I promise to pay her cash.
