They were prompt and very professional! They were very clean and explained everything in detail! When they were done they told me they would be calling me to schedule a free visit in a month to make sure everything was installed to factory specs & working efficiently! They also helped with financing our purchase and made it a painless process! I can't say enough good things about this company and would definitely highly recommend them to anyone!!

Wow! I got my ducts cleaned and made sure to take photos (attached) to see the amazing results. I've had my ducts cleaned before but never have they looked as good as when Official did them. Couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and results. Highly recommend Official HVAC!

What great follow-up from Official HVAC. We had a new furnace & ac unit installed several weeks ago, which went so smoothly. Last week we received a call from Audrey letting us know that included in the purchase was a follow-up call to check the systems. Eddie called to let me know he was on his way, and arrived on time. Asked how the system was running, if we had any questions, checked both units, and took extra time to show me a setting on our new Ecobe thermostat. As a Realtor I refer people, trades, services, etc. Official & their wonderful staff always go Above & Beyond, my top choice for HVAC!

Scheduling was great - a day or two prior to my appointment, they called to verify that the agreed-upon two-hour window was still good for me. And then the tech called from his cell when he was about 20 minutes out to let me know he was on his way, and arrived well within the window. It's nice when a service company can offer a small window like that, and even better when they make it! The tech (Eddie), was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He inspected and cleaned our furnace, made some minor adjustments, and patiently answered my questions. The price was very reasonable at about $80. Afterwards, they emailed me a receipt with a detailed write-up of everything that had been done.

Official technicians are truly the best. Official as a whole is a people first company with a professional etiquette attitude. I would not recommend Official to relatives and friends if I was feeling differently.

I replaced my thermostat with a new one and my furnace/AC unit would not come back on. I put in a request in on Angie's list a 8:00 PM and Mary called us immediately and walk us through what she thought it might be. Mary suggested to call her first thing in the morning, and she would walk us through the process of connecting the wires on the thermostat correctly. Once I did what she suggested, it worked like a charm. Most companies would have suggested sending someone out and charging a fortune, not this company, she saved us money and time. We will use this company again and again. Mary is a doll and well appreciated. This company is kind, responsive, respectful of your time and money. Can't go wrong with this company. USE THEM. You won't be disappointed.

They do just fine. They did a tune-up and cleaning of my AC system so it went okay. I would hire them again.

They've been great. They've done quite a bit of stuff for us and they have always been very good.

I've been using them for years; they're very good.

I didn't like anything about them. They did a terrible job, they had to come back three times because first they told me there was nothing wrong with it and then when I called and yes there is something wrong with it, oh and then they charged me a whole lot of money for parts and so they had to come back a third time and didn't do the job correctly. So that he next time I had somebody out, a different company out it had to be redone. The first guy who came out I could barely understand him, his accent was so thick, his English was poor, he was selling. Terrible.

They have always been very professional come out and take care of everything.

Tell Us About Your Problem: I received an estimate from Bill Wojiko for the replacement/repair of my central air conditioning unit. At the time of initial contact w/ Bill, he wanted to give me estimate on telephone. I requested an in person estimate and inspection for an "all in" repair/replacement of my ac unit. I told Bill during the call that I had a problem with AC pan leak that his service technician noticed during the spring inspection of ac. I also told Bill that the blower of my combined furnace/ac unit was replaced over the winter by their company since the leak in the ac blew the blower unit. I asked for an in person estimate so that there would be no hidden costs. He gave me a fixed cost "all in" estimate which I paid in full on the day of the order. Before paying, I asked him bluntly if this was an "all in cost:". He said yes. On the day of the ac repair, it was discovered that the ac /furnace blower was not working properly. The Ac installation technician did not install the blower. The technician called Bill about the situation. I spoke with Bill at that time. and reminded him of the "all in" price quote. He said that he would call his boss and call me back. I spoke to Bill again. He informed me that they were sending a technician over to look at the blower and repair and replace as necessary. When I asked if there would be a price for this, Bill said no, it would be free. That night service technician determined that blower was broken and needed to be replaced. After replacement, technician called me and asked if I wanted him to leave the blower at my house or take it with him. I said please take it. I was not informed there was any cost at this time. 2 weeks later, I received a bill in the mail requesting $515 for the blower. I called Bill, He said he didn’t know why.. He recalled telling me that it would be free. On the bill, it stated this was the cost to dispose of the blower. I received a statement last week stating that my 10 year warranty will be void if no $ Desired Outcome: I called Mary DeFrancisco today in an attempt to resolve our differences. She said that they were not going to move on the issue. I informed her that In my opinion they will be in contract violation if they do not honor warranty. I would like them to take responsibility for the "all in price quote". I would like them to take responsibility for the blower replacement that Bill told me would be free. We did not have any separate contract or agreement regarding the blower replacement. I was told it was free. I would like official heating and cooling to take responsiibility for their quote and Bill's committment.

The Furnace and AC Evaporator Coil failed two weeks ago. Had three independent Service Providers confirm problems and the cost to repair was about 1/2 the price to replace. Made decision to replace because of 15 years old equipment. Decision to pick Official Heating and Cooling was based on a few things, a local Company, positive reviews, an A+ rating from the BBB, and finally the Visit by their Vice President of Sales. They were price competitive but was most comfortable with the information, survey and walk through provided by Official Heating and Cooling. Also found out the that original furnace was installed incorrectly and never pointed out by another HVAC Company that had done the semi-annual maintenance for several years. Service Installers arrived on time, walked through with me what their plan was, and immediately covered the floors with tarps. They were very careful with bringing everything in and out. They were here about 7.5 hours and their work looked perfect to me. They seemed to have a good attention to detail and worked well together. Job site was left very clean as was the garage where they did a lot of the sheet metal work. They made sure that everything was working correctly and spent time educating me to the digital wi-fi thermostat I want to thank everyone I had contact with at Official Heating and Cooling for a job Well Done. Horrible. We have had many issues with air flow, air quality, humidity, etc. Since the remodeling was completed over a year ago, we have discovered: (1) the furnace was a substandard single speed and did not meet the clear specifications for a variable speed; (2) the humidifier was never connected to the furnace; (3) the duct work was excessively flex duct, constricted and poorly designed; (4) the heat registers were installed backwards, causing our windows to retain moisture; (5) the supply and return grilles were cheap in price and quality; (6) certain supply grilles were blocked with metal or cardboard; (7) various dampers were closed for unknown reasons; (8) the bath fans did not operate properly because they were screwed in such a manner that they prevented the dampers from opening; (9) indoor humidity last summer was up to 75 percent, suggesting that the AC unit is likely oversized; and (10) a ventilation system was not provided for the remodeled house, resulting in a high level of carbon dioxide and VOC's. Remediation work on our home continues.

The repairman was polite, knowledgeable, observant and went through a mental checklist of possible problems and quickly found the problem and made necessary repairs to fully restore normal operation in a prompt manner.

I called and scheduled -2 hour window.. They confirmed on the day prior, Tech called when he was 20 min away. My time was well respected. That's important to me. Tech wore shoe covers and he was very courteous. Definately a Professional. Reasonable price too. I will use them again and recommend.

It went bad because I kept getting the run around. Every time I tried to contact Adam to find out the status of the repair, no one would call me back. I was told I should find out the name of the distributor for the parts but every time I asked him, he refused to tell me. Finally I had to go to Mitzubishi and they had to get the parts and had another company, 4 Seasons, come out to repair it. Needless to say, it was a terrible and unprofessional experience.

Was punctual, fast, courteous, and complete - they have done other work for us in the past. All of it is good.
