Replaced outside faucet provided access for future work

The person responsible for contacting me never did, despite repeated attempts. I left phone messages with suggested appointment times but never heard back. I cancelled the deal and received a refund.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. It was satisfactory. I had some extra work done, so I paid more. They replaced another outside faucet, and I had to fix a sump pump piping, they replaced the drain pipe for the secondary sump pump,  and I had to do some repair work on the bath tub. I paid 700 Dollars.The quality of service was good. It took them a while to get back to me, I guess they may be busy. He cancelled once, and showed up the second time. He was very knowledgeable, and I would use him again if I needed.

Bought a "Big Deal" to replace the outside hose spigot. Took over a month to set up the service. Including at least one missed appointment. Once Dave got here he replaced the spigot quickly and cleanly. Also installed a shut off valve (extra $) and determined that my sump pump needed replacing. I had him do that has well. Overall I think the price was very fair and once he got here he did a great job.

They were friendly, helpful, punctual, professional...couldn't have asked for a smoother service.  I paid extra to install a shut off valve, something I didn't realize the prior contractor failed to offer/install. They provided a follow up call and offered to come back quickly if there were any issues.  He was informative and checked a few other things while he was here.  I will definitely use them in the future.

I purchased an "Angie's Big Deal" to have three small jobs done at my home. I needed a toilet put in place in my powder room, a faucet changed in my kitchen, and a water filter installed in the kitchen. These three projects took longer than expected and I ended up paying for additional labor time. The installer encountered a few problems installing the water filtration system and had to come back out to correct them. Phone calls were returned promptly and follow-up before, during, and after the projects were completed was good.

I've struggled writing this review.  The gentleman who came to our house was a really nice guy (at the end of the project.)  Very knowledgeable.  I think he was crabby in the beginning because he sat in traffic for over a hour trying to exit from the expressway with all the Great America traffic. 
Because they were limited on their ad space, they didn't include 'crawl spaces were an additional $75.'  While I didn't pay the additional amount, it was mentioned a few times during the project.  Like I mentioned, he was a really nice guy and did a good job.  If he didn't push the 'crawl spce' issue, we would have had more projects for him. 

Dave was on time and performed the outdoor water faucet replacement without a problem. I also had him look at a few other minor things while he was there for a small additional cost.

They did the work I wanted buy they charged more than you said it would cost.

He also discovered a minor gas leak and corrected the problem.  A job well done.

Called once and never showed up or called again.

It took a while for Dave to schedule an appointment with me. Once it was on the calendar he canceled twice and I had made plans to stay home to meet him. When I spoke with him today he agreed that I should seek a refund.

They were able to repair the broken valve. They left no mess.

When Dave arrived and looked at the faucet and where it was located - he told me that it would be an additional $50 to cut a hole in the drywall which I said ok.  Then he went down to the basement to look for the water connection and he noticed that I had an old disconnected water softener.   He mentioned to me to me that I should have this water softener removed because it should be  because it potentially could cause an explosion.  Then he replaced the faucet and I asked him to give me an estimate on a 50gal new hot water heater and he did, gave me a written estimate and said that they would replace all the connections and hookups and I thought the estimate was totally fare.  Then as he was leaving, he said that he was not going to charge me for the cut into the drywall, and I was most appreciative.   He did a great job and I will definitely have him come back again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out fine. They came out on the day I requested. I had an additional $64 in extra charges for parts. The plumber who came out worked real well with my husband. My husband had questions so he answered them very well.

It worked out fine. They did everything they said they’d do. They did a good job. He allowed me to buy the garbage disposal and he put it in. He is very good. I couldn’t complain anything about him. They did exactly what they said they’d do. There were no problems scheduling. He came out and did it and it was done.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I paid Angles list for the great deal of $99 for two hours of plumbing labor. 
When I called Catenzaro to set up the appointment, I spoke to Tom and when I gave him my address he paused and said there
was a mistake on the deal as it didn't cover in the city of Chicago. But he then imeadeatly said he would honor the deal. So we set up a time. The day before, Dave, one of their plumbers called to talk through what we needed so he could bring the right parts. He
said he would be at our place at 9:30 and that is when he arrived. He took a look and gave me all the details and that it might take a little longer than the 2 hours and gave me what the extra hour would cost. He didn't need to do that as he finished in the two hours.
He did a fantastic job and was a very nice guy who had a very professional appearance. The cost of the parts was not included in the $99 fee and their price on the parts was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Catenzaro plumbing for your plumbing 
needs.

The plumber did an excellent job and I appreciated his input and suggestions for other projects I am interested in.  I am sensitive to cigarette smoke and there was a strong odor on David that was difficult for me.  Please know that he did a great job and I cannot complain about his professionalism, courtesy or abilities.  This is simply a personal preference that didn't sit well with me.  I appreciate the solid job that he did.

Provider contacted me in a timely manner, and was able to schedule service at a date and time that was acceptable to me. Unfortunately, their truck broke down the day before my appointment. They called and told me what was happening, to let me know the truck might not be repaired in time for them to keep my appointment. The next morning, the day of my appointment, they called again to let me know the truck wasn't fixed yet and that they would need to reschedule. I needed plumbing work done before a weekend party but they didn't have any openings available before then. After my phone conversation with them I left the house, and later called another plumber and scheduled the work I needed to have done. After I was gone Catenzaro & Sons called back again and left a message saying they would take another truck so they could keep my appointment, but I didn't receive that message until later in the day, after the scheduled time for my appointment. They did everything right given the situation, and I would not hesitate to contact them in the future for plumbing services.

It went very good and the job was completed as planned.

Wonderful! The toilet has never been this easy to flush. You used to have to hold down the handle for 10to15seconds to flush. That drove me crazy. We should have done this repair years ago. We also got estimates for additional plumbing work we need done. Estimates seem competive.

This is by far the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing firm and I'd HIGHLY recommend this company!
I called late Friday afternoon. The person I spoke with said they'd get back to me after checking to make sure they had someone available Saturday. I got a timely call back and the appointment was set for 1:30 Saturday. Tom arrived on time and got right to work. He suggested attempting to repair the faucet could save time and money (I had previously replaced the faucet cartridge myself and that didn't help, so I assumed I'd have to get the faucet replaced). Tom disassembled the faucet, went to the store to obtain parts, came back, reassembled and tested the faucet (which now works just fine), all within an hour. I was very impressed, and also felt his bill was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier.

Service was provided on Memorial Day.   Appreciated the flexibility to provide service on a holiday as it was not an emergency but David was willing to work around my work schedule.   

If you have any plumbing problems, this is THE plumber to call!  I had been trying to change my shower faucet, and well, it broke!
I had to shut off all the water to the house, so we could not use the toilets, wash dishes, you get the picture!  I had called 3 plumbers on the list, all stated that they could not help for a week or so, I was devistated!  Catenzaro was the third plumber on the list, I called and Mr. Catenzaro answered, I explained my problem, he said he could not make as there were many emergencies that he was handling at the moment, but he would call Dave, who was in the area, and have him call me.  Dave called right away, said he could be there later that evening.  He came in and took a look, he was very polite, he told me that I didn't do anything wrong, that whoever would  have tried to remove the valve, it would have broken.  It was late, so Dave fixed what he could at that moment, not having all the equipment he would need, we set up a time for him to come on Monday.  He arrived on time, and did not mind that I watched to learn what he was doing to fix the problem. He explained everything in words I could understand.  Dave had to cut open the wall, and when he was done, he closed up the wall so that I could use the shower until I had time to replace the drywall.  When he was done, everything was clean and where it should be.   Dave called two days later to ask how things were going, if all the leaking had stopped and if there was anything else I needed.  This is a great company, and I have thier number on my fridge!  I personally will not call anyone else for any of my plumbing needs!  I am telling you, THIS is your plumber!
