Upkeepers Inc was founded by Thomas moldier, president and owner of his award-winning custom home building business for 25 yrs. Moldier has won numerous awards for excellence in home design, environmental awareness, and building with healthy home materials, innovation and creativity in new home construction and outstanding leadership with the national association of home builders. Moldier is past president of both the young builders’ council of NANB and builder 20 pacesetters organization. Moldier started up keepers, a home maintenance and handyman Service Company in 2005 in response to past client requests for reliable, licensed, and insured help. Moldier prides him on providing professional services, punctuality and quality workmanship. Plus, Upkeepers has given home owners a peace of mind that comes with dedication, a stellar reputation and experience in the industry.

He also ran some caulk around the sink, which was nice and came out real good.
"Member, It was clearly stated that we did not service the racine area and you were made aware of this"
The UpKeeper's contract language spells out penalties to the consumer if payments are not made on time or work conditions are improper, but offer no assurances or binding language if their workers make mistakes or work is late.
The mistakes of the UpKeepers team included:
* The job took two months longer than it was promised!
* The heat mat installed in a bathroom floor was incorrectly wired.
* New wall construction was not straight and had to be adjusted to install a counter top.
* Some wall tiles were installed crooked.
* Doorways were not correctly finished for doorway thresholds (had to be completed by outside company at owner's expense).
* New laundry sink was coated with grout and required a special service call to clean it.
* The grouting of both floor and wall tie was left smeared. As it was sealed, it required two outside companies to clean and re-hone the floor tile. An UpKeepers expert was going to use an acid wash to clean it (which was listed as damaging by the tile manufacture) and yet UpKeppers refused to pay the full cost of the cleaning by the outside companies.
* Two of the three toilets were improperly installed.
* The tile in the shower was improperly installed so water did not drain and the homeowner showered in deep puddles of water.
* Drains were left clogged with grout.
* Floor carpets in the house work area were improperly protected during the work.
I called them and then they informed me that they would have someone contact me in week to schedule an appoinmnent.
I was contacted by the sub to arrange the appointment.
He called on his way to let me know he was coming, but was delayed by traffic.
He showed up on time, did the work quicly.
Cleaned up afterwards too.
I would use them again in the future.

The caulking, which was the original reason for the visit, was done very well and looks great.
OK ...I upgraded my opinion based on the fact that the handyman made a good effort to fix the problems he caused. Today is 10/31 the 2 hour job started on 10/13 is done. It wasn't pretty but it is done.
Good points: the handyman always arrived on time and was respectfull...did what he could to repair what was damaged and to make me satisfied
Bad points: made mistakes that caused me to suffer lost time and damage to property
PS: Anyone can make a mistake...it is how they react to the mistake that can make a difference. His response moved my opinion from a F to a C. Had the mistakes never been made they would have received a C+

From the initial consultation of the project, the associates were courteous, attentive and prompt. It was evident that they were customer focused and wanted the project(s) done to our total satisfaction.
What sets this company apart from all others is its outstanding customer service. I have not found any company that comes close to this one.
