It was truly a pleasure dealing with A&M from the very start. Manuel responded right away to our request for an estimate, providing estimates for both replacing the existing wood fence in the same style and installing a new plastic fence. Along the way to reaching a final decision with regard to material and color, Manuel responded very quickly to our questions and requests, even coming by at one point with samples of the colors and styles of the fence material. Their estimate fell in the middle of the range of estimates that we received. The fencing had to be ordered because the height that we wanted was not in stock in the color that we wanted. That really wasn't an issue for us. They were actually able to come out a little sooner than originally scheduled due to a cancelation. The crew arrived about noon on the first day, coming from another job, and got to work immediately. The old fence came down very easily! They worked steadily until about 7 pm, installing all of the posts in concrete and also installing a good bit of the fencing. All of the holes were dug the old-fashioned way, using a post-hole digger! Backbreaking work, in my opinion! The crew was very careful not to damage any of the plantings in our yard or our neighbor's yard. They continually cleaned up after themselves, hauling all of the old fence and the concrete from the old posts. Before they left the first day they asked me to work with them to determine the final height of the posts so that the new fence would look exactly as we wanted it to. The crew came back around noon on the second day and finished up around 6 pm, installing the final posts, fencing, and the gates. A&M did a great job with the installation and cleaned up so well you'd not know they'd been there. We are thrilled with the new fence; it really adds a lot to the appearance of our back yard and the security has been improved with locking gates. We would strongly recommend A&M Fence Company. The experience with A&M could not have been more positive. This is a company that clearly takes pride in their work and knows the meaning of "customer service".

Everything from the estimate to the installation went very well.  Manny came out and gave us a written estimate, with a diagram, that spelled out exactly what I was asking for.  After receiving two additional estimates (one was higher and one was lower) we decided to go with Manny and A&M Fencing because of the detailed information Manny provided about the installation.  My biggest concern about the installation were in sections of concrete that needed to be bored out, for the installation, and Manny assured us that was not a problem.  Manny provided detailed information and answers whereas company reps for the two other companies just glazed over the installation process and halfheartedly answered questions about the concrete issue.  Manny also explained exactly what I needed to do to obtain the village installation permit and that went without a hitch too.
The two man installation team came out and looked over the area of installation.  Within no time the old fence was down and discarded and the fence line was up.  Before noon all of the post holes were dug out including the five that were in or partially in concrete.  By the end of the normal work day the fence and gate were up and all of the debris was removed from my property.  I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship (especially in a very tight spot where my neighbor's shed left little room for anything to be installed let alone fencing panels).
I am overall 110% happy with the process and would recommend A&M Fencing to everybody!

I made the appointment for the estimate 2 weeks prior.  I received a call the day before to confirm the appointment, yet the company never showed up.  when I called I was told that I was not on the schedule.

Junior showed up in the time frame he stated.  He was a nice guy and understood everything I wanted and even mentioned a couple of options available to me that I decided would be worth the extra money (1'" boards instead of 5/8", and having the iron posts powder coated).  
The meeting went well, I knew during that meeting exactly what I wanted and felt very comfortable with Junior and the way he represented his company. He explained to me he would not be able to get my estimate to me until tomorrow because he was going to his son's soccer game that night.  I was more than o'k with that, however, I did tell him I was looking to make a decision very soon and his would be the last estimate I would get.
The next day came and went with no call, I thought o'k, he was just busy that day but I thought he should have called me to touch base and just explained that he needed a little more time for the estimate (that call would have taken maybe 1 minute).
 Now it's Friday, the day after he was supposed to call and it was approaching 4:00 p.m.  I went to A&M's website to see how late they were open til on Friday and their hours weren't listed.  I figured I should call to see what was going on.  I called and talked to Brandon (nephew of the owner).  Explained to him the situation and that I was ready to pull the trigger and it was just between them and another company but I needed their estimate. Brandon said Junior would be back soon and he would call me.  Brandon had a deal in his lap and a good probability of closing it that day.  I expressed my sense of urgency yet there was obviously no sense of urgency on his side.  I suggested to call/text Junior and to please have him call me, whether he has the estimate completed or not, just don't leave me hanging.
It is now Sunday, two days after I last talked to Brandon and neither Junior nor anyone else from this company bothered to contact me.  I went to contract with the other fencing company I was considering yesterday.   Why would a company spend the time to come out and look at your property and then not only not get back to you with an estimate but to not even bother calling you or returning your call?
Anyone who has ever worked a commission sales job, this scenario is unthinkable, and if you are a family business and you are representing that business and don't do what it takes to make sure your employee returns that call... well I don't think sales is for you and the idea that you are running a business (Brandon) I feel is laughable.
If you want a drama and aggravation free experience with good communication and customer service, you do NOT want to do business with A&M fencing.  Believe me, this company's lack of response to someone who is on the cusp of sending them a check to do business with them is nothing short of mind boggling.  If the owner of A&M reads this, you need to have a talk with your nephew Brandon and Junior before they cost you more business (which in my mind is inevitable).

Mike Blanchard came out gave me the wrong price on an estimate it took him 2 days to return my 2nd follow up call and when he did call back late in the evening he informed me he did the estimate wrong and the price jumped $2000 needless to say I won't be using or recommending this company.

Manny was very courteous and a big help with the estimate and advice.  The two-man crew arrived as scheduled, unfortunately on a very cold and miserable day.  They promptly tore out and removed the old fence, dug the new post holes by hand (breaking through frozen ground) and set new 4x6 posts in concrete.  Then the fence supports and boards were installed using stainless steel nails (not staples) with nail guns.  Occasionally, they would have a short delay to warm the pneumatic nail guns due to the extreme cold.  I believe the work started about 9 a.m. and a new and solidly built 6-foot high fence was the result about 3:30 p.m. on the same day.  Given the weather, I couldn't believe two guys would complete it in a day's time.  The fence is still as solid as the day it was built, and many compliments have been received from neighbors.  I wouldn't hesitate to use A&M Fencing again.

They were one of the few companies willing to do the work even though the job was not large. They were good with communication and are very responsive. They are true to their word and get the job done quickly. They were able to complete the job without us even being here, used a generator for the work, and mailed us the invoice. They never left any mess behind. Overall, they were really good.

I have used them twice now. They are very responsive and they have done a great job!

We went back and forth on some quotes. The quotes were well done, clear, and thorough. The quote was exactly was as specific as I has asked them for. The pricing was a little high and I wanted to ask them some questions regarding it. The man within the company who I was dealing with said he would get back to me, but I did not hear from him. I had another company providing a quote around the time and ended up having them do the work as I needed the job done quickly.

They did a great job! Their pricing was comparable to others. They were outstanding!
