Doctors are very nice at this location and provide quick service. I had to call in for lab results. Long wait in the waiting area however.

I called in early October and got a new patient appiontment scheduled for early December. In mid-November, I received a call saying that the doctor would not be in the day of my appointment, and could I call back to reschedule.
I called back. They took my information, and said someone would call me back with a new appointment time. I did not hear from them for a day and a half, so I called back. I got someone new, who didn't know anything about it, and took several minutes to say she could reschedule me. She then offered me an appointment on January 31st.
I pointed out that I had already waited two months for this appointment, i was not going to wait another 2 months, and couldn't they find anything earlier. I got a fairly rude no, the doctor is busy, this is the appointment time I could have.
I have heard and read wonderful things about the doctors at this practice. It is a shame their front office staff is so difficult.

While she is fairly easy-going, I found that she does not like to have anyone question her, and she is not genuinely interested in teaming up with the patient. My first tip-off was when I mentioned my desire to hire a doula for the labor and delivery. She pooh-poohed the need for a doula and said my husband (who had never attended anyone's labor) would do just fine. In retrospect, I realized that she really doesn't want anyone familiar or knowledgeable about the birth process in the room with her to raise questions or advocate for me. Also, she made a really bad judgement call in my case. The baby was still breech at 36 weeks, and we agreed to try external version to get him flipped in the right position. I wanted to do it as soon as possible, but she wanted to wait until I was 37 weeks. I acquiesced in the face of her opposition. Well, my water broke at 36 weeks and 2 days, and then it was too late to try version. I was quite upset about this because her partner, Elizabeth Buscher, gave me no choice but to have a cesarean section. The worst part is Merita Tan, who learned of my c-section from her partner about 24 hours after it took place, never called me or contacted me to follow-up. She never apologized for her poor judgement call or let me know that she also regretted the c-section. She did not personally see me at either of the post-op check-ups.

Dr. Walz-Buscher is excellent. She has good bedside manner and seems genuinely interested. She is very qualified and friendly. The office is nice and so are the people that work there; they always make me feel comfortable. It was difficult to get a first appointment however after that it has been easy to get appointments and I never have to wait for a long time in the office. Sometimes Dr. Walz-Buscher has to leave for emergency deliveries however I can either reschedule or see a technician.

Dr. Mazzullo has been my OB/GYN for years. She is one of those rare doctors who is a true expert in her field and also has great rapport with patients. She is simply the best and I would recommend her without reservation.

I drive all the way to the city for all of my appointments. I travel all that way because I am very impressed with her. Her bedside manner is amazing. She is straightforward. Her staff is very responsive. I love her enough that for my second child I spend half the day traveling to an appointment that lasts one hour.

Dr. Buscher was on time and spent over one hour with us during our initial appointment. She was clearly very knowledgeable on top of being warm and patient. She practices in a really nice space that is modern and clean. The ultrasound rooms have plasma screens for you to see what is going on during the exam. I would highly recommend her practice (The Women's Practice)!

I love this practice! I have been coming to this practice for the past several years and the staff are very caring and professional. I could not brag enough about Dr. Elizabeth Buscher-Walz. She has helped me with everything from routine check-ups, infertility issues and the birth of my daughter. They always take the time to explain everything, give you an opportunity to ask questions and you never feel rushed. I have seen several of the doctors in the practice during the birth of my daughters and every single one of them was very attentive. Maggie, the nurse practitioner, is absolutely awesome as well. I highly recommend this place!

Drs. Tan and colleague made several misjudgments that resulted in me having an unwanted, and arguably unnecessary, cesarean section. When the baby was still breech at 35.5 weeks, Dr. Tan would not attempt external version until it was 37 weeks. Well, the baby decided to be born at 36 weeks and 2 days, and it was too late to turn him around. Other doctor let me know that our only choice was to do a c-section. She did not inform me of the baby's particular breech position or that his head/neck were in a favorable position for a vaginal breech delivery. We never discussed the possibility of a vaginal breech birth or the latest long-term data demonstrating there is no difference in mortality of breech babies delivered vaginally or via c-section. Though I signed a consent form, I would not characterize the consent as INFORMED since we did not discuss the pros and cons of any other alternatives. Indeed, I was told there were no other alternatives.
