The car was not repaired. I asked the manager what he would recommend. The manager recommended to take the settlement from the insurance company and to not repair the car. Replacing the engine cradle and possibly the bolts could involve other issues down the road. He wanted to make sure that I was driving a safe car and he couldn't guarantee that there would not be problems later.
I totally appreciated his honesty. By being honest with me, he was losing a $5800 - $6600 job for his shop, but he was also gaining an appreciative customer.Licensing
