This is actually the second time i have used Robert's services.  the first time was for my dishwasher and this time was for my refridgerator.  I have just moved into a condo and as usual there were questions and minor problems with appliances.  obert was efficient, prompt and very reasonable in price.  I definitely have his number on my speed dial.

Overall my experience was fantastic. I didn't have the need to "hover" because Robert was obviously honest and trustworthy. The dryer was fixed in about an hour's time and it is like new. Robert cleaned the filter/vents and vacuumed the inside of the dryer as well. He also cleaned behind and around the dryer AND provided me with all the coins that had accumulated over the years that fell into the base of the dryer. It was a nice chunk of change too! I highly recommend the services of this company. I never once felt the need to have to stand and watch or ask questions. It is refreshing to have reliable/responsible service. They also provide an electronic reciept via email for your records so no paperwork is needed.

Robert is very good at his job.  He is professional, polite and knowledgeable.  I now know that he repairs other equipment and I will definitely use him in the future.  I highly recommend him.

He seems to make appointments very quickly.  Each time he's been to my house he has someone with him, like an apprentice, which helps the process.  I don't think he has anyone else on their own and I think he does a pretty good job managing the customers he has.  He works long hours, he's offered to come real early and real late.  His knowledge stood out to me, there are times he just listens and says I bet you it's this.  Then he opens it up and fixes it.  It's like it's second nature to him.  He's pretty good, I've got to give him credit.  Someone must have taught him well, he's been doing it since he was a kid.  There was an instance when a part didn't come in when it was supposed to.  It wasn't a big deal to me but it could affect someone on a tight schedule.  I felt his prices were reasonable.  He offers a 90 day warranty.  My mom and I live in the same building and they came right back after working on a dryer when something went wrong, they are responsive.

Robert is the epitome of professionalism. I researched my washer problem, so I had somewhat of an idea what the problem. I called 4 other services (AVOID SKYLINE APPLIANCE REPAIR - AT ALL COSTS), before I got to him (due to the order of the listings from the computer). Once I talked w/Robert I knew he was the one I wanted to have look @ our machine. He explained in great detail, over the phone, what I would be looking at as the problem as well as the solution. He told me I would be better off replacing my machine rather than having it repaired. Robert basically explained to me, over the phone, what my problem was, but I wanted reassurance - so I asked him to come take a look at it. I told him I was in the area and he accommodated me by making me his last customer of the night (great hours). He was PROMPT, COURTEOUS, and HONEST. If/Whenever I need a repair, and/or a family/friend needs a repairman - I will ABSOLUTELY recommend Robert.

He did a totally fine job even though it took him a couple of tries. His communication was great. He was fairly priced too. I would recommend him.

On the day of the tax credit for Energy Star appliances, I decided not to buy something new and to revive something old. Apparently the government is not yet aware of how you can be truly ecological. They just want us to consume more stuff. So I called The Fix It Guy for an appointment. I got a new transmission for my washing machine instead of getting a new one, which would have cost about the same amount (imagine getting a new transmission for your car!) I figured that if there is someone trustworthy in this town who can fix washing machines then I should save my large appliance trash allowance for something I can't really fix, like my 20 year old water heater. Perhaps I could have asked for a discount for spending the big bucks, but I did not feel that the price was unfair, and I have a one year guarantee on the work. Also, instead of spending my money at a national chain like Best Buy, I was able to invest locally in an independent family business.
