Perhaps TDH was simply having a bad week? After reading other reviews, I felt confident that we would have an outstanding experience with TDH. Things went well at first, the office sent me mail shortly after I used Homeadvisor to find them. Things went downhill from there. in terms of scheduling the appointment and, when the technician arrived, he was a bit rude. He also might have overlooked something during the service call because my hot water heater died 2 days later. I'm now working with a dedicated plumber to replace the hot water heater.

Contact was quick and professional. Had an estimate and work complete in only a couple days from my job request.

I am a contractor and have used other HVAC companies in the past. TDH is who I will use in the future. Their work was excellent. And they beat a company I had worked with in the past by 25%.

The technician was prompt and efficient. He explained clearly what he was going to do in every step. He was very professional with pleasant manners. After the work and before leaving, he cleaned the areas well. I will definitely use them again.

Tim called within 2 minutes of submitting my request with homeadvisor.com. He scheduled a consult for the next morning at a time that worked for me and Ken showed up on time. He gave me explanations and a quote for a water heater and gas furnace installation which was the best quote I had received. Bernie and Gene showed up the next morning and the work was done by the end of the day. They cleaned up and were courteous. This was an incredible home improvement experience. Prompt, courteous, professional, clean and great appliances.

I interviewed half a dozen vendors. Most were upselling and cross-selling things like aerosol sealant for the vents, or were selling the most expensive furnace and AC system they could offer. TDH did the opposite. They argued that I didn't need a 4 ton AC as I have 2 others for different zones, and that it would be inefficient to go with 140k BTU furnace. I ended up with both--and topline Trane AC and furnace (modulating)--because I made them give me their best models. THey came in between $2k and $9k less than their competitors. They turned up on time, were polite and professional, installed the systems, cleaned up, showed me the work and were off. I think the crew lead was named Aurthur--he was a giant--at least 6'7" tall. I hired TDH for my maintenance plan and would highly recommend that you save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and simply call TDH.

Happy with the air duct cleaning service they provided and felt the price was fair especially compared to other quotes I had gotten.

Tim Ken and Berni were great to work with. Right out the gate their offer beat every other one I got. The other bidder remarked on what a good and fair deal TDH offered when I showed the estimate. Tim returned phone calls very quickly during the process and was receptive and listened to feedback on my concerns. Ken did a great job on the initial estimate and answered all my questions. Bernie install it quick and clean. I appreciate the extra effort driving pretty far to a different warehouse to get the exact unit i wanted as well. Ductwork looks very good. Highly recommended.

My furnace was repair quickly and was very reasonable in cost.

My furnace went out on one of the coldest days of the year. I spoke to someone at 9pm and they were out at 7am and I had a new furnace by 5pm. Very prompt and extraordinary service.

timely install - good follow up

They tried to weasel the $270 Nicor rebate from me, and replace a brand new filter.

They started the job quickly. Parts and equipment appeared as needed. The workmen were professional and worked steadily. I thought the installation would take longer given the complexity of putting central ac/heating in an old building. I received many other quotes that did not include plumbing or electrical work. TDH's quote included everything. I only have to wait for spring to have the refrigeration line charged.

They were on time for the installation. Perfectionists.
