We spoke to Roman on the phone and he gave us a general idea of what a system would cost. He offered us up front pricing with no contractual commitment (cancel anytime at no cost), which was appealing to us. We went down to meet Roman at their retail location and after looking over some of the equipment made an appointment to have Roman come out give a more formal estimate on our home.
Roman was very detailed in reviewing our various security risks and how to address them best. He sent us an email quotation a few days later. We went ahead and scheduled an installation.
A few days later he came by with the equipment. He checked that it all was working and installed and tested each piece. He trained us on how to operate the alarm system. We decided to leave the alarm monitoring disabled for a few weeks while we grew accustomed to monitoring the alarm.
A few weeks later we called Roman again and made an appointment for him to come out and send our system into live monitoring. Roman made sure all the installations were functional and sent the alarm into live monitoring. The whole process went very smoothly and we are very happy with the installation.
We have a monthly fee that is billed directly to our credit card each month. Skynet will get notified if any batteries need replacement and they will come replace our entire system's batteries at that time for a modest fee (should be around once every 2 years). If an alarm triggers a video of the alarmed event will be sent to the monitoring company for review. We can cancel any time, and we own the equipment. It's an excellent system and the outcome of the installation is exactly what we had wanted.
