ROUTE 81 LANDSCAPING

When we originally spoke with Tony from Route 81 Landscaping in April 2014, he told us that Unilock did not tell him that the pavers were seconds.  After months of going back and forth, it was finally agreed that all of the pavers would be replaced.  The job of replacing all the pavers was started on September 29, 2014.  Tony from Route 81 Landscaping refused to replace the front and back step stating he did not see anything wrong with them.  Additionally, the edge restraints should have all been removed and secured against the new pavers.  They were not, and almost immediately the sand began coming out along the edges.  We also found out that Polymeric sand was used when the pavers were replaced and the Unilock Product Resource Guide for Chicago it states Polymeric Sand should not be used with the Series 3000.  Along the curb and the garage, the pavers were installed higher than the existing concrete by almost 1/2 inch. Even though we have given Route 81 Landscaping the opportunity to correct the situation that they caused, we feel that steps and shortcuts were taken deliberately.

Tony did excellent work. He did a stone paver patio for me and got it all done in one day. He has very reasonable prices. Tony was very easy to work with and really listened to my needs.
