Our new air conditioning system was installed the fall of 2009 by another company and set in service on the summer of 2010. On 2011 we found out there was a very small leak on the system and the original installers could not find the leak and the owner got sick and the company went out of business. Our friends recommende Ralph's heating and they eventually found a faulty part in the system and replaced it, which i am positive that the original installers would never have found but Ralph's heating has all the equipment necessary for the job and also the experince and knowledge that they need because I kept hearing the employee talking to his seniors and making sure they troubleshoot all possibilities and finally figured out that there was not a leak but a faulty park. I was very impressed. Very cold in my home this summer. Thanks Ralph's Heating, you have my business for life.

They were very thorough and explained how to prevent damage to outside unit because I have a dog. They provided me piece of mind about my HVAC system.

Ralph's has performed Spring and Fall services for my air conditioning and heating for several years. I find their workman very professional; they respond quickly to my requests for service, and have always been punctual. I am satisfied with their service and will continue to use them.

Our furnace had stopped working so we called Ralph's Heating Service Inc., and the very knowledgeable serviceman responded quickly. He explained what he was doing as he worked and he also gave us very valuable advice and information regarding our furnace.

I spent $268 pre-paid for a service plan and for that they come out and do the condenser, the furnace, the humidifier, and the EAC. They make sure the furnace is ready for the fall and is clean and gets us ready for the spring. They call us when it is time for them to come out. Their prices are right and do not hype anything.

They checked my furnace and installed a radiator. They are slow to respond when you call for service. I would use them again if they would respond quickly.

My air conditioning unit suddenly went out after running fine for the past two weeks. I had a technician come out and used the coupon offered through Angie's list for free estimates. I called Ralph's and scheduled an appointment that next day. They gave me a 4 hour window for arrival but promised to call me 1/2 hour before the technician was due to arrive so I would have time to leave work and not have to take a whole day off to wait for a tech to arrive. The technician did all of the necessary troubleshooting and told me that my problem was not w/ my AC unit but actually an electrical issue that will require for me to now call an electrician. Overall it was a good experience for me b/c the tech was very thorough explained everything knowing that they werent going to get paid for anything. If i have any other heating or air issues i will DEFINITELY use this company in the future.

I was amazingly surprised to pay so much for a soldering job. I supposed that is their rates. They know what they are doing, but I'm glad that I don't have to call them that often. I would only use them again in an emergency.

They did a particularly nice job with the furnace. They are very helpful and very informative. They do excellent work. They checked it out very thoroughly and the quality seemed to be very high. They are very nice people. They did some duct work and where hadn't flowed well before, now it does flow well. They are responsive.

Since I have an old humidifier, finding the correct filter was difficult. Ralph's heating went to the trouble of finding the filter and bought two so I will have one for next year. The serviceman had to make two trips. I appreciate their efforts.

I had a Goodman A/C unit installed 3 years ago, by another Heating and Cooling contractor who has retired for health reasons. It stopped cooling on Saturday.The unit has a 5 year warranty. I called Goodman,the manufacturure, and they provided a list of contractor's who install that brand in my area. I than checked Angie's List and found that Ralph's had good reviews on AL. I phoned them, explained the situation, and scheduled the appointment for the following day. Their office called me the same day to say they could have someone enroute today if I would be home. The technician-Ray J. arrived. After examining the system, he quickly found the leaky valve and tightened it and recharged the system. It appeared that some units had been recalled for this valve problem. He even checked to see if it was one of the effected units (by model and serial number) by calling the office.It wasn't. It appears that there is a service bulletin to remind installers to tighten and check the valves during installation, and that the original installer (a different company) may have forgot to check the valve's causing a loss of freon in the system. I appreciated their (Ralph's heating and air conditioning, Inc) honesty, integrity, promptness, and professionalism. Thanks.

They came promptly to fix my heating system. Another time when I had a question, they returned my call promptly. The service person called me within hours of my calling the dispatcher. He asked me to go and check the filter and I said that the filter was a 90-day filter and it was only 60 days. He said that before he had to come out and charge me for this, to go do what he said. I did and it started. I appreciated that. They are responsive and courteous.

We have a furnace and they have been servicing it since the time we moved here for about 25 years ago. It works just as good, that’s how good they are. The technician that comes out always calls before he comes. He does a thorough job and also enlightens us about something he wants us to consider. He does not try to sell us anything but makes appropriate suggestions and leaves the decision to us. He is pretty prompt and very courteous.

The igniter on the furnace went out during the recent sub-zero cold snap. Ralph's was able to get someone out to the house the same day I called - 2 hrs sooner than the original window given. The service was professional and relatively quick . The part that was needed was not on the truck, but the office was close by so the serviceman was able to drive to the office to retrieve it and return in about 20 minutes. From start to finish, the work took just over an hour.

We were pleased with their service.

It actually wasn't fixed right the first time, and they didn't charge for additional service calls to fix the problem.

Arrived on time; started work right away; got the parts and partial help he needed from a colleague in the area. Explained the unit functions. Cleaned up well enough and offered to mop water that leaked when they carried old unit out. Removed old unit.

It went very well. The person who came out to fix it was very informative about what he was doing and why he was doing it. They had reasonable prices. When they came they did not charge a traveling fee. They were prompt when coming out.

Ralph's was the only authorized dealer of our brand of a/c in the area. The technician came out within the promised window. He immediately inspected the entire HVAC system and then checked the a/c unit. He spotted the problem quickly. He replaced a part on the a/c unit, tested the system, reset our programmable thermostat and cleaned up. He was finished with the job in under 1/2 hour.

From start to finish I was very impressed with Ralph's. Used their web form to request service then followed up with a phone call due to my own paranoia. They scheduled me for a service call the morning of the next day. Dispatch called as the technician was rolling saying he'd be there in about 30 minutes. He was there within 20. Andre, the technician, wasted no time, went right to the furnace, asked how I had diagnosed the problem, agreed, changed the part and answered my questions regarding add-ons, such as a purifier and humidifier, giving prices, brand recommendations, and his personal experience with some of the brands in his own home. All told, Andre was finished within 20 minutes of arriving. He was neat, professional, and friendly. I will definitely be using Ralph's again in future. My only quibble is that the part was a little more expensive than I had estimated from research. Again, a quibble.

Initial visit was $70, the cost for work done was $148. THEY WERE REALLY STRAIGHT FORWARD EASY TO DEAL with.

We were glad that the problem was eventually fixed, but not happy that it took them 2 separate visits to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it. We could have saved time, money, and 1 extra night of space heaters, if they had done it right the first time. Their only saving grace is that they only charged us for the parts on the second visit and not the $89 labor rate again. Also, the technician was nice, but I'm not sure he was the most knowledgeable one.

We scheduled a service call with Ralph's Heating who sent Demetrius Brown to take a look at our furnace to see if it was okay. He arrived promptly and was very polite and informative about what he would be doing. He was very respectful of our home, letting us know when he had to go out to his truck and come back in again, and answered all our questions. He gave us pointers on how to keep our furnace working efficiently. We think he did an excellent job, and would hire Ralph's again.

A complete evaluation of our heating requirements was done by their engineer. This included photographing and measuring all the radiators in our home. Based on their findings, it was determined that the broiler we had was too small. The installation went very well. The installers were professional and neat. Mr. Wood even found some original parts, still maufactured. The new furnace was installed to the specification of the original furnace. We have already noticed a difference in our heating bill. Their service has been superb.
