Very nice guys, Jason & James, and very understanding people in office (Rae, Robin, Nicole and Bobby). The guys who came out were both knowledgeable and efficient and very tidy. They even had an electrician meet them on Monday, which was nice of them--he was great too. The work is not quite done--I will continue to use these guys as they are great.

JIM WAS POLITE, ARRIVED ON TIME, ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS, AND IMPROVED WATER FLOW FROM FAUCETS AND DRAINS.

Overall the experience was good. They removed a clog that I would not have been able to do myself. The broken tub closure, I probably could have done myself, in fact Rae suggested that. But I went ahead and had them do it. There was a two week lag between visits, due to the part not being immediately available. They honored the 10% discount. It ended up costing a lot of money for two simple items, but overall I was happy with the work. I had to call a couple of times to check on when the part would be in and when they could return to finish the job. Rae and both plumbers were nice, professional, and did what I asked them to do. I would use them again.

Fast (scheduled in 1 day - could have been sooner). Plumbers arrived on time and completed work within 1 hr. Very courteous and helpful. Second time used Power Plumbing. Will definitely use again if any work needed.

Jason was friendly, tidy, and performed the job as requested. He also kindly explained the process to me. The office was responsive in setting up the appointment and themselves mentioned the 10% discount when I mentioned I'd got the referral from Angie's list.

The shower was very backed up and the guy had to rod it multiple times. He was clean and tidy, and did a good job. I would call them again. One thing that was kind of annoying, was they called that morning to see if we were there (our time slot was 8-12). We couldn't make it to the phone, but called back within 2 minutes. During that time, they already sent the guy out on another job. We answered the next time they called, so it wasn't a problem and the guy came after the job he was on. So if you have an appointment, be by your phone!

Third or fourth time we have used Power Plumbing, they always do a nice job.

As usual the folks from Power did an excellent job. They replaced the pump, and added a back flow valve that should have been there to begin with. They are professional, explain what they are doing, and the costs involved. They also finish the work in a timely manner.

The first time they showed up two hours late (without calling) and were unable to complete the work because they didn't want to charge me overtime. They told me they would supply me with an estimate for other work that needs to be done but I had to call them three times before this occurred. They do good work but it appears that they take on more work than they can handle.

James was on time, professional, and explained the problem to me (PVC pipes not properly insulated) in a convincing matter.

I was very pleased with this company and the plumber they sent to my home. My repairs turned out to be embarrassingly simple, but they were quick, reasonable, and very understanding. I thought the plumber they sent was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. Loved the fact he put on shoe covers before entering my place. I would absolutely use them again.

We were the third call and they still managed to be there before 10am! James was very pleasant and professional. He did all the work in a very short time. We felt the price for the work and the disposal was incredibly reasonable. This is the second time we've used this company, and will continue to do so. We were very, very pleased.

James' professionalism led him to discover a problem other than the reason we had called him out. Since I saw the leak myself, this was clearly not an effort to ''make work.'' He made sure every step of the way to show and tell me what he was doing.

I'M GLAD THEY WERE SO PROFESSIONAL. I JUST THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. MAYBE THEY WERE A LITTLE HIGH, BUT THEY WERE WORTH IT.

HE WAS GREAT. SHOWED UP ON TIME. WORE SHOE COVERS INSIDE THE HOUSE.

The dispatcher was very courteous and responsive to our needs. I had to reschedule 2 times and they were flexible. Plumber came out as planned and had job done in time estimated. It was not the cheapest service, but they were very honest on material and labor cost. I'd use them again for other work.

WHEN THE WORK PERSON SHOWED UP, I WAVED HIM INTO THE HOUSE ONLY TO HAVE HIM MAKE ME COME OUTSIDE TO TALK TO HIM AND DESCRIBE WHAT THE SERVICE CALL WAS FOR, BEFORE HE WOULD COME INSIDE. THE WORK PERSON WAS PATRONIZING, UNINFORMED, COULD NOT PERFORM THE ESTIMATE, WAS SLOW ABOUT EVERYTHING, MADE ME HELP HIM, DIDN'T CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF AND COULDN'T SEEM TO HOLD EYE CONTACT - EVEN THOUGH I AM A NOT MUCH TO LOOK AT. HE SAID HE COULDN'T FIX MY SHOWER WITHOUT GETTING A PART FROM A STORE ABOUT 2 MILES AWAY. WHEN I SAID "NO THANKS", HE "MIRACULOUSLY" WAS ABLE TO CLEAN OUT THE EXISTING SHOWER CARTRIDGE AND THE SHOWER WORKED FINE. HE THEN CHATTED AWAY FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES BEFORE HE CALLED TO GET THE TIME FOR THE JOB. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHATTING WITH HIM, IF I THOUGHT HE WAS STILL ON THE CLOCK. A LOUSY EXPERIENCE EVEN THOUGH THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM WAS EVENTUALLY FIXED. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COMPETENT PLUMBERS AROUND; I DON'T NEED TO PUT UP WITH THIS TYPE OF INTERACTION.

ON BOTH VISITS, THE SAME PLUMBER CAME. HE WAS ON TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. CATCH BASIN THROUGH WHICH THE RODDING HAD TO BE DONE WAS INCONVENIENTLY LOCATED BENEATH THE PORCH STEPS. PLUMBER HAD TO REMOVE STAIR TREAD TO ACCESS. WHEN TREAD WAS REPLACED, IT WAS NOT NAILED ALL THE WAY IN (CAUSING THE TREAD TO SLANT A BIT). PLUMBER ALSO BROKE PVC PIPING LEADING FROM FURNACE HUMIDIFIER TO DRAIN AND DID NOT REPORT THIS TO ME. PIPING HAD TO BE REPLACED WHEN I LATER HAD THE FURNACE TUNED UP. OVERALL, SERVICE WAS PROMPT & POLITE AND ACTUAL RODDING WAS SATISFACTORY THOUGH PLUMBER SAID HE COULDN'T GUARANTEE THAT RODDING WOULD NECESSARILY PREVENT THE FLOODING FROM RECURRING.

YOUNG GUY CAME OUT ON TIME AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. I CHOSE POWER PLUMBING BASED ON THE VOLUME AND QUALITY OF REVIEWS ON THE LIST AND WAS PLEASED TO FIND THE SERVICE LIVED UP TO THE REPUTATION. THE PRICING WAS NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION. I WAS TOLD UPFRONT (SO IT WAS NOT A SURPRISE WHEN THEY GAVE ME THE BILL), THAT ANYTHING AFTER 3:30 PM WAS TIME AND A HALF WITH A MINIMUM CHARGE OF 2 HOURS. I THINK 3:30 IN THE AFTERNOON IS PRETTY EARLY TO START CHARGING OVERTIME AND MY JOB WAS RIGHT AFTER WORK AT 5:30 PM. I AM ALSO LOCATED LESS THAN 2 MILES FROM THEIR SHOP. HE WAS THERE FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR AND EVEN WITH THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT, I STILL PAID $310 FOR LABOR, $38 FOR MATERIALS, AND $10 FOR THE ROD CHARGE.

WE CAME HOME FROM WORK ONE EVENING TO FIND WATER IN OUR BASEMENT. WE CALLED POWER PLUMBING FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING AND THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT TO OUR HOUSE THAT AFTERNOON. WE OWN A SMALL BUSINESS OF OUR OWN, SO IT'S DIFFICULT FOR MY HUSBAND OR I TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK. THEY WERE WILLING TO CALL US BEFORE THEY WOULD ARRIVE, SO ONE OF US COULD GET HOME. AS PROMISED, THEY CALLED AND WERE WAITING FOR ME WHEN I GOT HOME. THEY WENT RIGHT TO WORK AND RODDED OUT OUR DRAIN. IT WAS PRETTY CLOGGED WITH TREE ROOTS, BUT THEY FINISHED THE WORK IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND DRAINED THE WATER OUT OF OUR BASEMENT. THEY WERE EXTREMELY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. ON THE RECEIPT THEY WROTE DOWN EVERYTHING THEY DID AND TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES SO WELL YOU WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY'D BEEN THERE. WE ALSO FELT THAT THE PRICE WE PAID WAS FAIR AND REASONABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT WAS PERFORMED. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE POWER PLUMBING AGAIN!

SEEMED VERY HELPFUL AND COMPETENT (ALTHOUGH A BIT LATER THAN EXPECTED).

EXCELLENT OVERALL. SCHEDULING WAS PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT. PLUMBER ARRIVED ON TIME, EARLY ON A SATURDAY MORNING [WITHOUT ANY WEEKEND SURCHARGES, LIKE SOME OTHER COMPANIES APPLY]. DAVE WAS POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND EXPLAINED ALL THAT WAS BEING DONE. I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN SHOULD I HAVE FUTURE PLUMBING NEEDS.

JOB 1: MASTER BEDROOM SHOWER WAS LEAKING THROUGH THE CEILING INTO MY DINING ROOM. JOB 2: EMAILED A REQUEST, RECEIVED THE RESPONSE THE NEXT MORNING. ARRIVED ON TIME, COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY AND CLEANED-UP WHEN FINISHED.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, TIDY, DID EXTRA LITTLE THINGS SUCH AS REMOVED DEAD POSSUMS (DON'T ASK). COST LESS THAN I HAD EXPECTED.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. CONTACTED ME BEFOREHAND TO GET MODEL NUMBER AND MAKE OF TOILETS SO COULD HAVE PARTS WITH HIM. WORKED QUICKLY. WAS VERY CAREFUL TO BE NEAT. WORK WAS VERY GOOD. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT PLUMBER ARRIVED MUCH LATER THAN I WAS TOLD TO EXPECT THEM AND I HAD TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES TO GET A REVISED ETA.
