Overall my experience was only fair to average. While they did fix my problem, he wasn't careful about opening the ceiling causing more damage that necessary. Also, when he used lead to fill the drain, he used more than was necessary, causing me not be able to lay the drain filter flat in the shower.

Checked for leak in middle floor apt bathtub area. Did not find the cause of the leak nor fix the problem. Told us to hire a guy that does tile work. Replaced an entire faucet in the kitchen due to a small leak. Left the kitchen sink with a new problem after he worked on the drain, it no longer drains properly. He was saying goodbye and suggested we have the pipe behind the wall routed out. He was nice but he took 4 hours to replace the faucet. He sold us something that was not of great concern and did not find out what the problem was in the bathroom. Ended at $85 hr and a new standard faucet the cost was really over the top. I paid cash for a drain product and then received a bill for it but the company corrected this. We are still left with the problem and we have to hire another plumber and tile person to fix it.

As usual Power Plumbing was responsive, did a professional job, and left the work site in a clean condition. We have used Power Plumbing several times in the past and will continue to call on them.

Outstanding service. Very detailed, accurate estimates. Prompt scheduling and execution of job. Great communication. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Highly recommended. (And I'm a jobber myself and deal with a lot of different vendors. These folks are the real deal.)

Rae was very helpful on the phone when I called; gave me lots of information and scheduled the work for two days later. Mike showed up right on time and took less time than estimated. He was competent, friendly, and very conscientious about cleaning up afterwards. These folks are definitely the plumbers I'll call in the future.

Overall very good. The plumber was clean, professional, and on time. However, it turns out I did not need a plumber, and could have been told so (of course they wouldn't have had the business).

Plumber was professional, on time, introduced himself (wow!) and was quick and efficient. Representative was professional on phone, interested in my call and followed up quickly.

I love this company. I left a message on Sunday night when I saw all the water in front of my kitchen sink cabinet and discovered the hole in the drainpipe underneath. I got a call first thing the next morning on my way to a meeting. The Power Plumbing receptionist (also company co-owner and plumber herself) was so polite and was able to work the appointment around my a.m. meeting. I got home at 12:30 and the plumber was there at 12:45. It only took him 1 hour to replace everything since he had all the parts in his truck. I knew this company was good from past experiences, but this was unbelievable! They may seem a bit more expensive than others, but they are well worth it in the time saved and the high quality work and responsiveness you receive.

James and Levon were on time and presented a very professional appearance and demeanor. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in a timely fashion. The price was fair.

Once again an excellent job. Sometimes it takes a little while for Rae Lynn to return calls, but that may be due to the volume of calls and the likelihood that she prioritizes based on urgency. (I don't see this as a big issue because I tend to be a little impatient.) The plumber arrived on time, was very accommodating (I had recently had surgery and was not able to go up and down stairs easily), and kept me well informed. I have used this company in the past and this experience was just as good as the previous ones. I would highly recommend them.

While we didn't end up hiring Power Plumbing for cost considerations, my experience with them during the estimating process of our project was extremely positive. They were SO kind and helpful on the phone, and were able to come out immediately to estimate the job. There was a bit of a delay in getting back to me with answers to a few questions I had, but I did get the answers I needed. Everyone was courteous and professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Power Plumbing in the future.

Mike and Bob from Power Plumbing came to my house to investigate the ''water spots'' that were on the carpet in my family room on the main floor. Originally, it was thought that I needed to have my pipes cleaned, but after their investigation, the cause turned out to be something far less severe - which, ultimately, saved me a lot of money! Mike and Bob were prompt, professional and determined to help me figure out the problem. They even fixed a shower drain that was sticking up for no charge.

They do on-going maintenance issues, anything from clogged drains to large projects including a water heater. After comparing others, they had the best solution and price. They give free estimates which is good.

Told me kitchen faucet problem was with connections, he tightened those. We spent 30 mins looking for water shut off valve, once found he told me he couldn't fix leaky bathroom faucet but then he tried something and it worked, but it took 45 minutes to put on and take off the washer, new equipment. Also told me to caulk the loose toilet (no problem). A few days later, I noticed water under the kitchen sink again, they came back, told me it was the hose to the hand held faucet and I needed a new faucet OR a new hose. They told me I may as well get a new faucet which would be about $150 because a new hose would be $80 or so. After pricing faucets, they are $250. Who is to say that I even need a new faucet, what if I get one, then they come back and tell me it is a different hose which is leaking. I am not sure I trust this particular plumber's credibility.

The plumber was on time, very polite and gave helpful advise. I guess for a licensed plumber rate was reasonable, I only checked 2, but he earned it for the two days he worked. I have very, very old pipes. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. I would use them again.

They came out and installed a new pump that didn't work. He thought that there was a problem with our pipes. He took hours trying to find a problem, but still couldn't find it. He left a mess behind that another plumber had to fix. He had basically installed a pump that was too small. They did not charge us and took the pump back, but it took longer for the new plumbers to fix their mess.

While the plumber and the office were punctual and courteous, I would not hire Power Plumbing again. The plumber looked at 4 areas that needed repairs or where I wanted changes. On 2 issues he proposed fixes that would have been $2,000 each. I had these both completed by another large firm for under $400 each. When looking at a leaky bathroom sink faucet, he broke the handle in attempting to remove it to find the leak. The whole faucet set then needed to be replaced. While any plumber probably would have done the same given the condition of the faucet, he did not make a temporary fix to allow me to use the faucet while waiting for replacement. I made the temporary fix myself and hired another plumber to do the replacement. Finally, I asked him to look at the recent installation of my garbage disposer, which would regurgitate out the other sink on occasion. He reworked the pipe connections but the same problems continued when he demonstrated his work! Much money and time for nothing.

Joe P. responded to give us an estimate - he discovered cause of blockage and proceeded to repair the issue without charging us a thing! Power Plumbing is a great company (and Joe is fabulous) - we will definitely use their services again.

My tenants left a note for me about the problem. Unfortunately, I found the letter at 2am and was scheduled for surgery the next morning. Knowing that I couldn't do anything right then, I looked on Angies list and wrote down some plumbers that were highly rated. The next morning I explained the situation to my tenants and instructed them to call the first plumber listed and have him come out. I gave them a price range that I anticipated to pay. The tenants called the plumber that morning, and he was out in an hour. The tenants were very happy with his professionalism and pleasant personality. He fixed the problem and then went around showing them other problems that he noticed and told them how I could fix them. The building is a money pit rehabbed by a troop of idiots, so I was happy to get the suggestions.

Can't get any better than this. On time, professional, work performed efficiently and neatly, diagnosed problem that other plumber said would cost approx. $1800. Won't call anyone else again.

Tony and his coworker were prompt, knowledgeable without being condescending, and friendly without being my instant best buddies.

They called back in the middle of the night for a large toilet backup. They showed up on time at 7 am the next morning and took care of an ugly situation on a professional level.

The plumber was VERY neat, on time, and very helpful with other questions we had about how to proceed with getting rid of the mold that had built up over the duration of the leak in the walls.

Scott was on-time, neat and efficient. We talked and he worked while talking. His work was very professional.

I contacted Power Plumbing based on reviews I had read from other Angie's List customers. They were very prompt, responsive, and professional in their demeanor, and I was pleasantly surprised that somebody was available to come out and quote on my project within 2 days of my enquiry. I was however unpleasantly surprised when I received my quote for the work to be performed. Power Plumbing estimated that the job would take about a day to a day and a half to complete, and quoted me $2,000 to perform the job. I estimated the material cost to be about $100 so the rest would be labor. I expected it to cost me about $800 including materials as I still needed to have the drywall repaired afterwards by a different company.
