I have a good impression of Power Plumbing overall. Friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable they would be a good team to work with. Quotes were put together and revised quickly and efficiently. Chose another plumbing contractor who offered a lower quote, but would definitely consider Power Plumbing for future projects.

James the employee was very nice and knowledgeable. He did a good job and cleaned up very well after the work was finished.

As usual, Power did a great job. The broken vent stack was an emergency that came up over the weekend and they were able to send someone out Monday morning to fix. Water heater installation went exactly as planned, and Gus took the time to explain everything he had done. He also cleaned out all the faucets in the house. Just a super nice team of professionals and the only plumbing company we'll use.

Representative was courteous, explained issues in detail and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need (experience with former contractor). He also quickly arranged for estimate to be made on related matter. Most impressive was scheduling person, Marty, who was proactive and took time to squeeze me in on a Saturday. She was fabulous. Will use them on going forward basis.

They did a fine job, except that the toilet was clogged again a few days later. Not sure if they didn't rod it very well, or if I have a bigger problem!

The 2 toilets were fixed. One toilet required a part to be ordered for the problem to be solved over a longer period of time. The bathroom sink was rodded and cleared. The camera showed we had a water waste line in good condition, but a crack was found in the line on the city's property, so the city will fix this at no cost to us! This all took about 3 hours. Also, the plumbers wore ''booties'' over their shoes when walking on our finished floors. Their consideration was much appreciated.

He addressed the situation stating we needed to turn off the main water, then was unable to open the box. This resulted in showers with no hot water for 2 more weeks and eventually $285 to another plumber who could resolve the issue without turning off the water to the entire building.

They were very helpful on the phone and had someone come out the very next day. The plumber was honest with us and told us it probably wasn't the toilet leaking as it was dry around the toilet. He told us we would need to have the ceiling cut out and check for pipes leaking, a job they don't do. He was very helpful and even gave us his cell phone number. The job isn't done yet, but we appreciate their promptness, courteous demeanor and honesty.

Fast. Cleaned up after themselves. Friendly. Competent. Everything you want at a reasonable price. They came when they said they would. They had all the tools and supplies to do the job, they worked with my schedule constraints. I'll be getting them back to do some other work.

We use Power for all our plumbing jobs now.

Based upon a prior good experience with this company, I called them on a Saturday for a plumbing surprise. Marty, whom answered the phone, was professional and courteous. Jason, the plumber, was efficient in his work and cleaned up when complete. The quality of work was excellent.

Gus pulled out the unit, and waited very patiently for my condo building to get around to shutting off the water; it took them quite some time, and he was very apologetic about how much time it was taking me, even though it wasn't his fault at all. He even let me sneak in and clean up behind the unit before putting it back. He was very pleasant, very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up after all his work. A bit pricey, but they were pleasant to work with, adapted to my shifting schedule, and were very prompt and professional. I'd rather pay a bit more and get dependable, quality work.

The gentleman performing the work was courteous, on time and knowledgeable. The job took longer than I expected, but the main water valve wasn't working properly, so he had to use alternate method in turning off the water. So it's understandable the job would take a little longer a be more expensive. Overall, a very positive experience. Power did a great job.

The company was prompt at retuning my call and arrived at the scheduled time. Scott was great at explaining what was required. I could tell he knew what he was doing and had all the appropriate tools/parts. He completed the work in three hours and provided helpful tips for a couple other projects. The only negative was the price for the repair.

He was on time, very friendly, and professional. Everything went smoothly. I was worried about the dishwasher because it's a Miele, and not everyone is familiar with its unconventional hook-up, but it works great. There was a small issue with the disposal. Unfortunately, the existing insulated cable (BX?) wasn't long enough, and he didn't have any in his truck -- nor did he offer to run out and get some. That necessitated an extra trip from an electrician. In any case, it's been a couple months, and I've had no leaks or issues whatsoever.

The workers were about 2.5 hours late (I had taken vacation time from work). The workers were polite and very friendly. They spent a lot of time looking for our sewer drain. While one worker was removing one of our wooden basement stairs (which he damaged!), the other worker said he was going to "poke around the yard" to see if he could locate the sewer drain. When I went outside about 10 minutes later, I saw him sitting on the hood of his car, talking on his cell phone (it was obviously a personal phone call). They did take one toilet off, and tried to rod as much as they could. By the time they were finished, they had gone into overtime and charged me time and a half.

The plumber was on time, very polite and performed the work quickly.

They discovered that another company had inadvertently inserted a pipe, that was blocking the drain. They were very punctual and nice people.

James came on time. What looked at first like a simple job turned out to be more complicated. James had the materials he needed on the truck, so the work was accomplished promptly and satisfactorily. James was pleasant and efficient.

Very happy with the whole experience. James carefully cleaned up, several times, and could not have been more of a professional, and clearly, a very nice guy! We traded business cards and I got a great lead on a good contractor for other work I need done. The 10% Angie's discount was nice.

Power came in with a reasonable bid, not the lowest, but given the ratings on Angie's List, the one we selected. The price rose with add-ons, some of which were reasonable, others not; for example, we were quoted one price on an item which ended up costing 40% more than originally quoted (no explanation given), and, in another instance, work which we had decided NOT to have done was done and we were billed for it. Also, carelessness by the original plumber assigned to the job resulted in the company having to come back and reroute some of the pipes. While all of the personnel was exceedingly courteous, unfailingly so, the main plumber assigned to us worked at a snail's pace; we repeatedly requested someone else, but our request was declined.

They were prompt, nice, came as soon as they could. I really appreciate their cautiousness, and that the plumber was not in a hurry to open the ceiling. Even though it turned out we really didn't need to, we now at least know what the problem is. The guys sent out were really nice, kind, quick and considerate. Price was high--other quotes were lower, but Power Plumbing gave a quicker, more professional response.

Rae was great. She talked through the problem and realized how serious it might become if it was not fixed right away. Knowing that I had been forced to turn off the water supply to the whole house, she made sure that someone came out the same day. Gus, the plumber, was terrific, got right to the problem, explained in detail what the issues were, cut out the leaking portion of the copper pipe, and replaced it, all the while answering my questions. The repair went quickly, everything was cleaned up afterwards, and I was thrilled with how it all went so smoothly.

Overall my experience was only fair to average. While they did fix my problem, he wasn't careful about opening the ceiling causing more damage that necessary. Also, when he used lead to fill the drain, he used more than was necessary, causing me not be able to lay the drain filter flat in the shower.
